Massage is OK but not great technically, with lots of sensual touches that make up for it. Very relaxed experience, I'd do it again, even though I prefer a little better technical skills. However, he makes up for it in personality, chillness, and playfulness.

Yeah, pushing it, I got a quote of $250 for 90 minutes, which is above the usual $200/240. I think a guy charging $160 an hour and $240 for 90 minutes is already pushing it, and I am unlikely to tip unless he is insanely hot AND the vibe & chemistry are awesome. And if he is not insanely hot, I probably won't even try at this rate. All this is more a matter of principle than a matter of money, because I frequently pay well over $240 for a really good session with a masseur whose quoted rate is like $200. But if he tries to push it by quoting $240, he gets less or no business at all. At $250, I am thinking I'll likely do multiples of $20 so I am looking at a baseline of $260. Nah. Not because I cannot afford it but because it sets the stage in a wrong way. I don't like the feel of being treated like a cash machine.

Etc. etc. His English is quite basic but his texts were very literate, which suggests that I was talking to a handler who recruits hot and mostly straight Eastern Europeans, for whom this is an attractive gig. And he probably makes a lot by charging them a percentage (and without fully disclosing to them what the client's expectations are?), which is an additional turnoff.

I had no idea he was a former porn star, I found out only later, after my very good experience. It seems that he has found his calling, I think he does this really well and enjoys it, and that's just great to see. Many Eastern Europeans who advertise "sensual" are "do it yourself" guys, so the very high rate does not guarantee anything. Just saying... Also, from what I remember from another thread, there were some questions whether he massages naked.

Jake is the most articulate, smart, and polite masseur I've ever met. In addition to being really built (actually, too much at this point, for my taste, of course) and handsome. And he is super-professional so always on time. If only more masseurs were like him, I'd get most of my massages at home. The massage is on the bed but somehow with him it works!

I saw him in New Orleans and the experience was God awful. The massage was bad and the vibe even worse, out of shape straight guy who thinks he is "all that" and that it is every gay man's dream to be massaged by him. Apparently, his brother is a very successful masseur in DC and he got him into m4m massage as a good gig. I got so turned off by this dude that I have no desire to see that other DC Jake, they look too similar.

I saw him over 2 years ago, and here is what I wrote in another thread: Miles is indeed strictly therapeutic, and he goes the extra mile to make that clear, using a towel to keep you covered at all times and not getting anywhere close to your glutes and other "tricky" areas. He is a very competent masseur doing high quality work otherwise at a surprisingly low rate of $75 per hour. I went for 2 hours and paid $160, including a $10 tip. I am usually way more generous but was underwhelmed by his lack of courage, or willingness, to tackle the areas that get sore because of my running and my chronological hip flexor problems. He is also very sexy and cute but I found that much of the attraction goes away when he talks, as he sounds somewhat whiny and affectatious.

They are spending 2 days in their 7th city, the first 6 cities are only 1-night stays. There could be some mysterious reason but to me this seems like a bad signal. If they are good they should have more than a single day's worth of clients in a city like St. Louis or Nashville. And loyal ones too, who would be alienated if they are unable to catch them during the 4-6 hour window they have because they are constantly on the move. I call this hit-(the market)-and-run. Next!

One of my worst experiences ever, the dude is, or at least was, an effeminate self-centered diva, eternally unhappy about having to do what he does, because he thinks he is, or should be, a "model." I prefer cash, it's nobody's business to track what I spend it on. I also suspect many masseurs prefer cash for tax and other traceability reasons, but that's their thing, I don't care, I tend to give cash even to those that take credit cards etc.
