  1. I hate to be the skeptic here. Yes, very hot guy if you are into that type, but $150 per hour seems way overpriced from what I am reading. And $80 for thirty minutes seems downright obnoxious to me, although it's a free world, if it's posted I am sure there will be customers. But I'll pass next time in the area. At $150-160 per hour, which in most cases for me turns into $200-240 for 90 minutes, I expect either (1) someone who is ready to be interactive and the opposite of uptight while giving a decent massage (but this is not really my type so I basically endure, minimizing the interactive part and never go back), or (2) CMT quality massage from a cool guy not afraid to tackle my glutes and hip flexors and/or get naked if the chemistry is right (this is my favorite). I don't always expect or want interaction, but straight guys with hang-ups that are careful to preclude it by carefully setting their boundaries upfront, such as not getting naked or, even worse, those "finish yourself" Russians are a big turnoff. And almost all of them avoid glutes and hip flexors, by miles. I am simply not going to pay that money and have these dudes act like they are doing me a favor, sorry. Finally, if someone is an aspiring model, why don't they make their money modeling? But then, it's a big world out there, there could be plenty of sugar daddies eager to sponsor a museum piece. I am afraid that even that setup is not particularly sustainable, though...
  2. Chill, nice, and articulate guy, massages in the nude and very interactive. Massage mediocre but otherwise very pleasant experience. Hot bod, I especially like the hairy look. But a little too soft spoken for my taste, was expecting a more manly demeanor & sound base on the pix. So that combined with the high price and slightly subpar massage skills is why I wouldn't repeat.
  3. Has anyone had any experiences or encounters with this guy? Seems hot and on the expensive side, but that could be a good sign. Or not :-) https://rentmasseur.com/CJmassage Of course, PM me if you prefer!
  4. The pricing seems to suggest the same, the vibe I get is "I can't really charge $160 for what I offer so let's try $125, hoping that many won't have the right change or will simply be embarrassed to leave anything other than $140." Maybe he should list $124.99?
  5. A side note on the pricing. And he is not alone, many masseurs price their services in ways that most economists and managers would find curious. His first 30 minutes are $80, the second 30 minutes are $40, but then the following 30 minutes are $60. Shouldn't the price for additional chunks of time go down or at least stay flat, which is the case for his outcalls? I mean, once you incur the one time cost of setting up the appointment, receiving the client, etc. any additional time should go straight to the bottom line. The only reason why the third chunk of time should be more expensive is if he gets tired or if he does some things that he doesn't do otherwise, but then this chunk of time should be relatively more expensive in his outcalls too? Questions, questions,...
  6. Hey Scotty, could you copy + paste and PM me too if it's not too much trouble :-) Thanks!
  7. Hmmm, another "traveler" now "based" in SF, and aspiring to make in an hour what an average person earns for a full day of work, but based on what exactly? PS I have a chiropractor's office next door where I can get top notch professional therapeutic massage for $80 an hour. Granted, Chicago is cheaper than SF or NYC but it's still a good baseline to consider.
  8. Oh, they are tough to find but I praised some on this thread: http://m4m-forum.org/threads/recommendations-for-nyc.117222/page-3#post- So who was your big disappointment? I have many I could mention in this category :-(
  9. Many Russian masseurs are hot/athletic, straight, and pretty smart dudes who like the money they can make this way. Being smart and strong allows them to become very good masseurs pretty quickly. Being hot is a great hook in the lucrative m4m market, especially if one is comfortable being naked, which most (not all!) of these guys are. Many will even allow the client to touch them but a big no-no is them touching a dude in certain areas, I guess this crosses their line. Some will even invite the client to "finish himself" in the end, which I find demeaning and offensive, but to them this is the definition of the "sensual" massage, as more would turn it into "erotic" I guess. I actually don't want a HE from a dude who doesn't really want to do it or if it turns out I am not into him. That's why I never negotiate anything sensual upfront, I prefer to leave that to the chemistry and whatever happens - happens. But the massage itself is really important to me, and what typically frustrates me about these guys is their reluctance to deal with my glutes and hip flexors, which are really important to me. I guess they are too nervous about going there, because it might send a "wrong message" about what to expect later. Over time, I have learned to expect this and hence avoid Russians and Eastern Europeans who charge $100 an hour. At $150-$160, which typically takes me to over $200 for 90 minutes, you get three kinds. One is very playful and sensual but lack in massage skills. The second are truly competent masseurs who actually like and appreciate the male body and are open to some play in the end. And the third are just frauds, which is one of the reasons this forum is so valuable!
  10. Looks like EuroAdam's link is no longer available, where is he based, is he still in Chicago?
  11. I agree, suggestive pix and $160 an hour might signal a real hot, relaxed, and competent masseur (the best of all worlds for many), but it could also be a straight dude or a gay diva who just wants to make a lot of "easy" money. I've encountered an equal number of all 3 of these categories. I actually do not WANT any sensuality if it is forced or "part of the deal" and would be fine with just a great massage from a hot guy, it's a total turnoff when he is noticeably tense during the whole thing because he feels like he has to deliver something in the end, or I might try to initiate something. Which I don't, I just can't wait for such massage to end and get the hell out of there. Having said that, I am going to NYC soon and would love more info on this masseur's story.
  12. He's been my habit for a while now, whenever I get a chance. And I may go out of my way to create that chance :-). Chicago has a ton of masseurs but Indy holds a real treasure.
  13. Kevin is a very good guy, visited him once up in his studio, which, btw, is very cool too. While his massage room is small, it is draped in awesome textile prints he made himself and feels like a tent in a movie (Lawrence of Arabia :-) ?). Very good massage too, with attention to detail, and he is very friendly and easy to talk to. Looks hotter in person than in his pix. It's just that it is a little far for me to travel and, while the vibe was definitely there, it just got a little too sensual for the first time in my books... at least that's how I am rationalizing the fact that I haven't revisited. I do have to admit, though, that am not sure whether it was really too much or the whole thing including conversation etc. was too good. Might still go back, still debating. The young (Polish, but grew up here and his English is perfect) dude TJ is very sweet too, less of a masseur and more of a (wild) buddy and companion for a fun rubdown. Quite an experience, he is also very hot, playful, and engaging, but a little too wild and flamboyant for my taste (he'd be so much hotter if he could live with just a normal haircut), whereas I prefer regular, next door, straighter acting, and more mature guys and, of course, deeper massage. With the caveat that I am not sure what chunk of my experience with both was the standard deal they provide to all and what part was just the vibe that happened on those days (I tend to play along and if I apply brakes, I do it gently), my sense is that these two are among safer bets in Chicago. Having tried a non-trivial number of mostly local masseurs, my impression is that ~40% of them leave you wondering "why the hell am I wasting time and money on THIS?" another 40% are good to very good but don't entice you to go back, and then there is that top 20% to which you wish you could go back on a weekly basis.
  14. Kman, I am so sorry you had a bad experience. I also have to say that I am surprised, JD seemed pretty together when I saw him. Having said that, I never try to schedule more than a day in advance. And even if I text about meeting the following day, it is typical to confirm in the morning and fix the exact time then. These dudes don't have secretaries and are not operating luxury spas. So, whereas us regular folks may think that scheduling a week in advance is a good idea for both sides, for them it's more likely than not to be just pain in the ass. Their lives are very fluid, and I am often astonished how many of them have trouble keeping up with an appointment they scheduled just hours ago. As in, "I can be there at 6 pm" and then text at 6:30 something like "I am stuck in traffic, I'll be there in an hour," to eventually show up at 8:15 pm. And don't even get me started on those who never show up, without any explanation or courtesy text :-)...
  15. I also had a positive experience with JD. Very sweet and friendly, more mature (a big plus for me, like at least 30s) but very hot, handsome, and in-shape. Full of stories, has done a whole bunch of different stuff in life and is (maybe a little too ) eager to share and talk about it all. Very uninhibited too, the whole session feels like a nice + intimate body rub & conversation with a good bud. The reason I didn't include him in my recommendations is that there are better massages out there (although he does OK, just not in the top echelon), but if one just wants to relax I can totally see how JD may be the right guy. He is also close to O'Hare so that can be advantage for travelers. Thank you <blushing>!
  16. I posted this elsewhere, but it seems more appropriate for this thread. Especially with respect to being respectful of the client's time, courteous and literate in responding, but also because of the massage and the overall experience I'd recommend: 1. David http://www.masseurfinder.com/members/massagefixchi.shtml Legit masseur with a wide repertoire of techniques, soft-spoken, articulate, mixes his own organic creams, does this as serious business and is kept pretty busy by regular clients. The sensual part comes at the end and includes some scented hot towels, which, as much as it is creative & nice, probably isn't a good match for those who like more "interactivity" throughout the session. I never negotiate this part upfront as I like things to be spontaneous and based on both parties being up for it, but am always pleasantly surprised by how smooth/enjoyable this part is and how gorgeous this man is. He does incalls in South Loop, close to the Roosevelt stop of the red line. 2. Jake http://www.masseurfinder.com/members/musclejake1.shtml He is more interactive and does outcalls. Super smart, engaging, fun and playful. He is also super-strong and can give you as much pressure as you like or can take, maybe not as educated as a masseur as David but the dude is smart and able to listen, so you get the pressure you desire. On a side note, I find it really frustrating that so many hair stylists give you the same haircut no matter what you tell them and similar goes for masseurs. Not here, and I also LOVE when he stretches me, I am 6'4" and 200 lbs. but the dude is so strong and lifts me like I am half the size . Both are on the upper bound of pricing ($150-$160) for Chicago, but well worth it. While there are some decent guys who charge around $100, I invariably find them lacking in some respect, like being routinely late (even over an hour, wtf?!), having a weird hang-up, not being into it, etc., so I have pretty much given up looking in this price range. Unfortunately, going for someone charging over $200 for 90 minutes (which I usually do because I find that 1 hour feels rushed) is no guarantee of quality either, one finds most masseurs in this range to be just as mediocre or worse as the guys who charge less, hence my two recommendations !
  17. My pleasure, both #1 and #3 are 10-15 minutes cab/uber drive or less than double that via subway, but #2 will come to your hotel, the downside being that he'd need to be compensated for parking, I'd recommend going by what gets you interested regardless of the location, they are all within reach, in contrast to many Chi masseurs who are in remote suburbs...
  18. PS I saw this guy only once, he seems to have his act together and does an interesting combo of water/hot tub + regular massage. Super interactive but a little too young and wild for my taste so I never went back, but I suspect many here would enjoy: http://www.masseurfinder.com/members/mikephelps.shtml PPS My favorite masseur actually lives/works in Indy: http://www.masseurfinder.com/members/luke462.shtml OK, I won't say anything here, other than I absolutely adore him and his work and that by now it feels like visiting a close buddy :-)
  19. This really gets me, OK, the dude IS hot, but does that really justify $150 per hour while doing a half-assed job?! What are these dudes thinking?! Yes, one can make really nice money with flexible hours BUT that requires (1) literate, courteous, and reasonably timely responses to text messages, (2) respect of the client's TIME, if someone is going to pay that kind of money, expect them to be BUSY no-nonsense people, (3) treat them with respect and, of course, expect them to RESPECT YOU BACK, and (4) be reasonably into what you do, because if you hate it or think it's beneath you, IT SHOWS and is a major turnoff, and will typically cost you a nice tip you'd get otherwise. Absolutely the best policy is to have repeat clients. This reduces all kinds of risk, time spent going back and forth explaining things and negotiating, plus keeps one busy on a pretty steady and predictable basis, so build f-ng RELATIONSHIPS! Not for bf purposes but because these people are lawyers, doctors, bankers, and other professionals that can and will do you a lot of good just because they like you and feel liked and appreciated in return. Alas, this simple logic seems beyond most of the guys. I live in Chicago and, looking at masseurfinder, you'd think that the offer is awesome, but honestly, very few guys get it. I have tried dozens but there are only 3-4 that I'd recommend and keep going back to.
  20. Hmmm, all these new profiles with a keen & exclusive interest in praising this guy. To echo EVdude above, 'interesting'... Of course, I welcome all views and opinions, everybody has the right to say what they think, but others also have the right to find it 'interesting' :-)
  21. Well, sorry to say this, but my distrust is further fed by the tattoos in the pix, can they be temporary, or are the pix from different phases of his life? Also, the ad sends mixed messages, is he a CMT, what exactly justifies the $140 per hour? I mean, sure, some may find it intriguing to be massaged by a "professional fighter," but to me this sounds much like a "professional model" which is the ultimate red flag in my books. Well, if one is a professional whatever, why not make money doing that, I've had it with "models" ("wrestlers" or whatever) who just seem to want easy money thinking that massage is exactly that. Sorry, there is no such thing as free lunch, one better deliver if one wants to make, say, (20 to 30) x $140 = $2,800 to $4,200 per week not even working full time, much of it probably even tax free.
  22. I actually like the maturing and little more weight in the later pictures, it's a big diverse world out there, something for everyone :-)
  23. I've had one (90 minute) experience and may be getting ready for another one. Super cool dude, if a little young and "wild" for me... but the idea of that jacuzzi/water massage is definitely beckoning, especially on a nice summer day. Bottom line, I don't think you'd be disappointed either.
