Never tried CjDC but tried massage by his boyfriend a while ago. One of my worst experiences ever, the dude is, or at least was, an effeminate self-centered diva, eternally unhappy about having to do what he does, because he thinks he is, or should be, a "model." It is interesting that the boyfriend has added a rent.men profile in the meantime, while CjDC started from escorting and added a rentmasseur profile. I hope they are happy together but I wouldn't get anywhere close.

I could go on and on about one of my most awful experiences ever but I'll just say AVOID. ;-)

"And I'll push that shit ton to the limit by quoting $175 per hour, hoping the client would find it awkward to look for exact change, so it will end up $180." To me, $160 is the upper limit and, at that level, I'd better see all 3 boxes checked at rentmasseur. And the only way I might be able tolerate a higher rate is if the masseur is absolutely insanely hot, while still checking all 3 boxes.

Deposits, Pre-Payments, and iTunes Gift Cards
Capitano replied to big dale's topic in Spas & Masseurs
I prefer cash, it's nobody's business to track what I spend it on. I also suspect many masseurs prefer cash for tax and other traceability reasons, but that's their thing, I don't care, I tend to give cash even to those that take credit cards etc. -
Drive-by, hit-and-run, city baiting, and other scams
Capitano replied to Capitano's topic in Spas & Masseurs
This could be a new trend, the same old shit (hot pix, random collection of 3-4 cities in America, generic text of the ad, stats that don't seem consistent) but now they don't even bother to get a US phone number or to pay for the ad: https://rentmasseur.com/Onos I guess whoever contacts them via email will be asked for the stupid iTunes card code and never hear from them again. The puzzling part is that there obviously are some people who go for this. PS The dude in those pix is either taller or lighter, there is no way he could be 5'9" and 185 lbs., the pix are almost certainly stolen, if it were him he'd know his stats. -
Is he one of those "now you can finish yourself" dudes from Eastern Europe? That's the ultimate sensuality killer for me, and at $160 it's pretty outrageous. Many of these dudes are good masseurs so they should stick with it and charge like $100 without any promises of sensuality, especially if they are straight and hate doing anything sensual anyway.

Used to be in NYC. Hot, straight, friendly, competent masseur, difficult communication, will probably agree to massage in the nude but don't expect much sensuality or interaction. He is one of those "now you can finish yourself" Russian dudes. I have no desire to go back, the vibe just wasn't there. And it's way overpriced for what it is.

Drive-by, hit-and-run, city baiting, and other scams
Capitano replied to Capitano's topic in Spas & Masseurs
Yep, I know this may be shocking to some, but there's fake ads! The next relevant question is how to recognize one, to avoid wasting time and maybe even money. The scams are clearly evolving, that's why I created and keep posting in this thread. -
I had a pleasant experience but I wouldn't repeat. I got a sense that he could be a decent masseur but the massage (done on his hotel bed) took a sensual turn early on so I can't be completely sure. Sweet guy, limited English, accommodating, cute and hot, masculine. Glad I did it but I don't think I'll be tempted next time he comes to Chicago or we cross paths elsewhere.

Drive-by, hit-and-run, city baiting, and other scams

They keep going and going, there must be enough naive (and horny) people in this word that go for the stupid iTunes scam: https://rentmasseur.com/Nyom PS Check out the language on this one! -
Drive-by, hit-and-run, city baiting, and other scams
Capitano replied to Capitano's topic in Spas & Masseurs
They could be getting less obvious, but remarkably suspicious ads keep popping up on rentmaseur: https://rentmasseur.com/MARKUZz_LATIN A masseur without a phone number?! Let me guess: reach them by email only to be asked for the stupid iTunes code? Now, these two appeared in Chicago out of the blue, but I am skeptical: https://rentmasseur.com/GabrielBrazil https://rentmasseur.com/Felipe_Fernandes Probably the same person, or the same operation, appear "available" at the same time, virtually identical ads, other than the pix. And why would they list "hairy" if the pix show otherwise? -
I'd do it but I am so done with MF, I had them delete my user ID and posts, and I am NOT going back And yeah, he is back in Chicago...

Drive-by, hit-and-run, city baiting, and other scams
Capitano replied to Capitano's topic in Spas & Masseurs
It is interesting that this kind of scam is so persistent, it must be that they are able to get money out of some people. Whenever you notice a strange choice of multiple locations at the same time and a flaky ad text, it's time to be skeptical. Prediction: They'll want advance payment via iTunes code. :-) https://rentmasseur.com/nael Home: Paris, France Huntington, Jan 16 - Feb 15 Casper, Jan 16 - Feb 15 Indianapolis, Jan 16 - Feb 15 -
He is a competent masseur who should charge $80-100 for therapeutic massage, I think I wrote that elsewhere. Everything else sucks, anyone looking for any sensuality will end up very disappointed and frustrated, while paying for it. I'd avoid.

I met the person whose ad this is but that's not him in the pix. Weird vibe, I should have cancelled as soon as he opened the door and I realized that there is something fishy going on.

Is he hot? ;-)

Drive-by, hit-and-run, city baiting, and other scams
Capitano replied to Capitano's topic in Spas & Masseurs
This is becoming ridiculous, the typical recipe as of late: (hot pictures) + (a random collection of 3 smaller to mid-sized cities) + (a non-English ad) https://rentmasseur.com/Richies Whenever you recognize the pattern you are likely to be asked to make an advanced payment using some stupid iTunes code. Rentmasseur should really crack down on this shit. -
I think the story is that a single handler pays for one ad and then sends whoever is available. Hoping they would look sufficiently similar or at least be so hot that the client wouldn't care. It is some Russian or Ukrainian operation, I believe. The guys are all hot, most are athletes or very athletic, straight, and have pretty good massage skills but speak very basic English. Many won't mind getting naked for the massage but that's it, and they have this thing that they will avoid your glutes and tell you in the end "now you can finish yourself." It's annoying to the point that I've begun to ignore any ads that merely look like they MIGHT be this type of deal. Unless, of course, multiple posters here provide positive feedback on the guy. And yeah, many of these guys come and go, as seems to be the case here. Or reappear under a new name, as if we needed more red flags ;-)
-
Do we have any updates on this guy? https://rentmasseur.com/TheGingerJock https://www.masseurfinder.com/massage-therapists/30135/ He was mentioned, negatively :-( , on other threads but it's probably a good idea to move the discussion back to the thread devoted to him. I have to admit that quoting $175 is a bit of a turnoff for me but I could be wrong. Maybe he should go for $179.99 or $174.99 . Thanks and Happy New Year, may it be filled with great massage experiences!

Is New Jersey a wasteland for m4m masseurs?
Capitano replied to RubMyThighs's topic in Spas & Masseurs
I am starting to think that most of the country outside NYC, Miami, and probably LA is one huge wasteland as far as m4m masseurs. Even a big city like Houston or Atlanta is merely a “meh” in my experience. Chicago may seem a little better with a couple of good ones but not nearly as good as you’d think when you look at the number of listings. Thank God for some local gem here and there. And for this site, Happy New Year! -
For a legitimate massage, it’s not just odd, it’s unheard of. On the other hand, for a scam, it’s not odd at all, it’s a pretty common trick. Yeah right, send us money in advance, LOL.

Yikes, just got down to NOLA and things haven't improved one bit! :-( That this guy is still in business is definitely a bad sign https://www.masseurfinder.com/massage-therapists/31710/# but if anyone has a recommendation I'd love to hear it. It is weird being in a major American city that receives millions of tourists and unable to find a good & hot masseur, why do they all go to Miami? Had similar underwhelming experience in Nashville, wtf is going on? :-)
-
Let me guess, they’ll ask for an advance payment. And I use “they” and not “he” because this type of ad is way too frequent, it’s an organized scam, I am willing to bet.
-
Would you remember how tall? Just curious. And do you mean "confident" as in cocky or assertive? Could that be the reason you haven't revisited? Thanks!

Indeed! I was in Louisville on business for a couple of days recently, and having run out of things to do in the evening decided to try against my better judgment and clear warnings here. One of my worst experiences ever. He is completely out of shape with more than a few pounds extra, has serious self & life issues, and is all about extracting money. He offers 3 different types of massage at 3 different rates in the initial texts, not forgetting to encourage tipping on top of those rates (WTF?), which I find tacky. Then you discover that there are 4 different extras that he tries to upsell when he meets you, at which point things become beyond ridiculous. Then the massage starts and he brags and brags, and tries to extract compliments for his skills. I couldn't take it, I cut it short, paid politely and left. One of those times when it felt good to have the exact amount to avoid rounding up. Avoid.
