So do we have any updates here? :-) His masseurfinder rate is $180 and his rentmasseur rate, where he checks all 3 boxes, is $200. Interesting. And kind of pushing it, but I still might try on my upcoming trip to NYC. At that rate, I'd expect very good to excellent massage plus my masseur to be comfortable being naked and lightly touched.

Masseurfinder does not give a fuck how much they charge for massage. Masseurs do bid to get better placement for their ads, though, as MF tries to extract as much cash from them as possible. This is when you first get to the site and the ads are sorted by "featured." Then you can chose to sort by price or distance. I always do the distance from a zipcode, although the first setting gives you a sense of how eager they are to get business.

So how was it? I am going to NYC soon, so I am finalizing my shortlist :-)

Nice and friendly, but the whole thing was half-assed. Mediocre massage on a bed with mediocre & mechanical sensual part in the end. Some hot dudes can generate enough interest from one-timers if they travel enough, and this seems to be what he does. I think he is enjoying life and taking advantage of being cute, but I am starting to see busy travel schedules as a major red flag. Unless I get strong signals here that the masseur is serious and provides good value.

These are different dudes, although probably handled by the same "contact," the vibe is very similar.

Thank you all for the alert! He is in Chicago now and I was tempted. Posting suggestive pix & making false promises takes away from the massage no matter how good it is from the technical standpoint. And qualifies as a scam in my book. Expect name changes and watch for this douche in the future.

I didn't try because someone alerted me that the pic is an obvious cut & paste, which becomes obvious once you take a look. A major red flag. I've been getting massages for a long time now, and have learned that Lesson #1 is: Whenever things seem fishy, RUN!

The dude has changed so many names, uses ancient pix, and is one of my most awful experiences ever (upcharges, toxic personality, out of shape, meh massage). There are many other threads on him with overwhelmingly negative views, I believe.

Same experience with Brad here. I've never tried Alejandro but he used to advertise on rentmasseur as strictly therapeutic, and his rate is consistent with that.

My bad, he lists mobile first, I misread. I still don't see the point, you pay $20 extra only to get frustrated and leave wondering whether more is possible But that's definitely better than $160, which would be outrageous, and yes, some hot guys try to get away with it.

$160 an hour for a massage in which the masseur is not ready to be naked with me is way too much, sorry! Professional therapeutic massage on the next block from where I live costs only $100 an hour. And if it's strictly therapeutic why the fuck would I give a fuck :-) about whether they are cute or "the chemistry?"

WOW, I live in Chicago and I always thought that NYC, Miami, and LA were so much ahead of us as far as the choice of masseurs. I guess I can scratch LA from the list now :-( I am sad to say that Chicago has been feeling unusually wastelandy too! 3 of my favorite masseurs are no longer here, and I don't have a single replacement. Or even a masseur I want to try in order to replace them. I am down to 1.5 regulars, and I've learned my lesson to be picky and careful with the visitors, very few are worth the time and money, so things are pretty grim now. Can't wait to get back to New York!

David moved out of Chicago a while ago, Brad is now gone too, and I don't see Nikola's listing any more, WTF?! :-( I am down to 1-2 guys I want to see, and even them I don't want to see that frequently, and this is Chicago I am talking about. You could say that the market cured my addiction...

It was 1.5-2 years in my case. It happened slowly and “naturally,” as I realized that most new masseurs I was hoping might turn into repeats were disappointments. And when I said I wanted the names, I was also looking for the names of what, or WHO exactly, you are addicted to ?, which is related to the above point, very few guys are worth it.

Come on, guys! All these confessions with no names?! ? As far as the frequency, I think many of us get more massages early on after “discovering” them, but then we calm down a little. I used to get a massage every 1-2 weeks but now I am down to one every 3 or 4 weeks. I’ll splurge 2 a week when I travel to NYC but then in many cities the market is so bad that I’ll often get none, Boston being the latest example. And Montreal is an interesting outlier where I prefer to spend my money on dancers :-) I think I’d get more massages if I lived in NY or Miami, maybe LA, the offer in these cities seems stronger. I like repeats with good masseurs who don’t mind doing my “trickier” areas (I run) and being naked with me, but there is not that many of those, especially not good looking ones that are 5’10” or taller (I am 6’4” and that can be tough for smaller guys). I’ll see a promising visitor who might turn into a repeat but these are mostly disappointments in my experience...
