  1. JD has been discussed here, with mostly positive opinions. Another favorite in NW burbs: https://www.masseurfinder.com/members/persian_steel.shtml
  2. The masseurfinder ad was down for a while, now it's back up, and a RM ad appeared in the mean time: https://rentmasseur.com/Stanly Another red flag: when a masseur cannot make up his mind about his home base.
  3. Bumping, he is coming to Chicago soon. I am usually skeptical about traveling masseurs except when they come from Florida. A very competitive masseur market down there for some reason.
  4. Any new info on Alejandro? I find it hard to believe no one tried :-)
  5. One crucial question: what happened when you turned face up? Were you draped? I am sure he noticed? Maybe you can joke about it next time, like "pardon my excitement" and see where the conversation takes you ... I try to be clear about liking someone without being pushy to make them uncomfortable because it's awkward if it's not mutual or if they have a bf or other type of constraints. Turning face up is critical time and your main chance to get something started. Before, it's too early, especially if the masseur is serious and has pride in his craft. Things become more relaxed once you turn around and you are cruising toward the end of the massage.
  6. I disagree, I'd RUN!!! Rule #1: It's never as good as it seems, mild disappointments are the norm when seeing a new masseur. Pleasant surprises do happen, but with miniscule probability (approaching zero) and are far outnumbered by outright and near disasters. Rule #2: Presence of red flags makes things worse. A mild disappointment is actually a good outcome as you are typically in for a an outright or near disaster. Rule #3: Presence of multiple red flags or one as serious as the one above has a single implication. Don't even think about it and RUN! I know one wants that sexy dude to be real, but in all likelihood those pictures are planted there for a reason.
  7. I hate to say this, but I think you are setting yourself up for disappointment. Many masseurs get really nervous if you try to negotiate anything sensual upfront, they are not escorts and they don't know who is texting them, there is always the possibility of a setup. Add to that asking for a discount, and they might even blacklist you as an undesirable client. And if they don't, they are likely to go into the appointment determined not to provide an ounce more than what you negotiated. I know, it sucks! Most of the time, you pay a lot of money for a meh experience and not nearly what you hoped for. Given your questions, you might be better off hiring from an escort site?
  8. I've come to believe that positive surprises with masseurs happen, but almost never. I think this is a mathematical term for something that has zero probability but can still happen, at least in theory :-) As a general rule, everything, from pictures to the other info on the masseur's site, is going to be not as good as it seems. Also, given the personal preferences, chemistry, and regional differences mentioned above, it's hugely important to read between the lines and take all this into account when going by recommendations here. Of course, this is a great site and comments are hugely useful, but they are not perfect and do not provide insurance against disappointment. Far from it. OK, masseurfinder comments are pretty much all garbage, but let's not even talk about those. I even had instances when I was given a factually wrong info on a masseur in a private message here. It's one thing to have preferences, different chemistry, or be used to a less competitive market, but this was a whole different thing. So I'd advise being careful especially about comments from someone who appears "too gaga" about a masseur, it could be love, it could be a desire to promote them, or it could be them? So, in summary, no positive surprises here, and I've even had some negative experiences when the feedback here was good :-(
  9. So how is he willing to accommodate? Especially if he charges extra for muscle play (that's not accommodation in my books but upsell), there are no sensual components, and massage is out of the window because he doesn't know how to do it? Call me crazy, but if he is willing to chat and is pleasant, that's what I call normal and expect from everyone :-).
  10. So he is not really a masseur but offers the so-called "massage" appointments, which are not muscle play either, so wtf are they?! :-) I am glad he still manages to be "nice enough" guy, even though, the way I see it, he seems to charge his clients a lot of money for pretty much nothing. Maybe those nothing-appointments should include a free video in the end?
  11. Come ON, guys, his rates are so low, give him a break. $70 for 1 hour, $100 for 90 minutes!
  12. Hey, what they call the Westbank is actually to the south of the Mississippi and downtown New Orleans too, it's easy to get disoriented
  13. I'd disqualify him based on the fashion sense alone, or lack of it. I am not sure whether those blue pants are more hideous or more ridiculous. I hate big and/or wallpaper style tattoos but for some reason I find that picture an even bigger turnoff. Looks like a loaded diaper plus his legs appear freakishly short.
  14. If a masseur is in a relationship, there is a considerable personal cost to engaging in more intimacy with a client. Plus, it's typically more than one way touching, so I actually like the clarity that the double pricing conveys. I'll probably go with the therapeutic version first but if I find that I click with the masseur and like him, I may want to opt for a massage in a more relaxed and permissive environment. Without any expectation he'd be "into me," although I certainly wouldn't mind if that happened.
  15. It never ends, what's up with what appear to be two distinct types of scams? One seems to be multiple guys sharing the same (typically vague and inconsistent) profile and probably working through a handler, so you never know who will show up and who you are texting. I suspect Timwood on rentmasseur to be this type. Or, the same guy or a pair working together and having multiple profiles, often with stolen pictures, with separate phone numbers but, again, you never know who you are dealing with. The best indicator is that seemingly distinct guys have the exact same travel schedule, as Davido and Greka above, or my latest "find"... https://rentmasseur.com/StudMuscle https://rent.men/StudMuscleNY https://www.masseurfinder.com/members/paulotorres.shtml
  16. WOW, thanks! So Paul_XXL on rent.men and ronbrazil on masseurfinder are clearly the same person and all seems legit. I really feel bad for that guy that some asshole is using his pix and will probably tarnish his reputation as people get confused. Having said that, I did a little digging around and these 3 profiles could be the same guy, or a group of guys traveling together (?), pulling off some kind of scam. Three profiles, even though two share pictures, three numbers, yet the travel schedules are the same for all, hmmm...? https://rentmasseur.com/StudMuscle https://rent.men/StudMuscleNY https://www.masseurfinder.com/members/paulotorres.shtml
  17. Revisiting this thread. It's interesting that the rate has gone down from $150 for the old PauloBrazilian profile to $125 for the new "Vincent" on masseurfinder. Also, that Singapore profile on rentmen is gone. Has anyone seen this guy, I am curious about what was, and probably still is, real vs fake? The change of name on masseurfinder is definitely a red flag but then this could have something to do with him reducing his rate. Or changing what he offers?
  18. Way to go EVdude! I think that we-the-public need to send a clear message. ANY form of lying and cheating is just unacceptable, and we'll be sure to spread that info on this forum and elsewhere. And we'll refuse to do business with any cheaters when they or we show up for the appointment and the scam becomes apparent. Do not post stolen (there is no other word, sorry) pictures and/or reviews and misleading information! That's not just reasonable to ask, that's BASIC! I find it a big turnoff even when they can't make up their mind about something as basic as their height too. How can one be 5'10" in one ad and 5'11" or 6' in another? It may seem minor to them but to me, once I put you in the "dishonest or worse" folder, I am done with you!
  19. Another one that seems, shall we say, inconsistent! https://rentmasseur.com/Timwood There is no way the person in these pix can be 6'5" and 175 lbs. That would be super tall and super skinny which is clearly not the case, just what are these guys thinking when entering all this info, that nobody will notice?! There is no way the person in these pix can be 35 either. OK, these could be old pix, but then again, it's a new ad, so why put up old pix?! Not to mention the physical inability to be in Chicago, Indy, and Oklahoma all at the same time. What is he going to do, fly to his outcalls on a private supersonic jet? I guess that's why the $100 surcharge But the pix seem vaguely familiar, maybe someone had an experience if he operated under a different name previously? PS Of the original 4 in this thread, Jone and Vladek are gone, but Davido and Greka, or whoever is behind these profiles, is now operating in Las Vegas. Interesting.
  20. Hmmm, the rate has gone up to $160... Has anyone tried in the meantime? BTW, does anyone know how tall he is?
  21. Sounds like he is one of those "now you can Finnish yourself" straight Russian dudes?
  22. I am confused, "Jake is actually Jake's brother?!" Is there another link since we seem to be talking about two guys here? My lackluster review is for this dude: https://www.masseurfinder.com/members/jakester.shtml A clear non-repeat, and then some.
  23. One of my worst experiences ever. Way overpriced, his pix are way outdated and he had put on way too much fat, he was way too chatty, catty, and nosy. I couldn't wait to be done. I am not surprised he travels a lot, not even a city the size of NYC or Shanghai could provide enough repeat clientele.
  24. Way too numerous & obviously fake reviews for Jake is Back! were a warning sign but options are so limited in New Orleans that I still decided to try. Chubby straight guy with no massage skills imagining he is every gay man's dream, trying to make a "quick & easy buck." Not knowing there is no such thing. He tries to be friendly and all but there is just "no there over there," he is way over his head trying to do this. I am so done trying masseurs with no or even mixed testimonials here. At least for a while. You know the feeling when you realize "this is going to be mediocre at best" minutes into the appointment. Followed by "why the fuck am I spending my time and money on THIS?" once you realize that it is NOT going to get better and there are no pleasant surprises lurking. And ending with "why am I the one paying when I should really be the one getting paid for this?" But then you realize that you actually like what you do for a living and you wouldn't repeat this shit even if someone paid you...
