Thank you! I find it frustrating that relatively few people on this forum tend to come forward with their experiences and/or information. To the point that I am likely to stop responding to PM requests for information by people who never contribute in the public forum and/or never gave me any useful information in private. I mean, come on, guys, you can't only take, gotta contribute too.

I call it the Eastern European hang-up, straight guys from over there who like the money they can make in "sensual" m4m massages but have a big taboo against touching anywhere near your glutes and/or especially "there" even accidentally. But they don't mind getting naked and even being touched "respectfully." For some reason, their American counterparts often prefer the opposite, will provide or at least try a very mechanical HE but their big taboo is getting naked with you (American hang-up in my dictionary) and especially being touched, pretty much anywhere. As someone who doesn't necessarily seek "sensuality" (if something happens because the chemistry is right, fine, but let's not force anything otherwise) but really wants a GOOD massage, the biggest turnoff is the tension. You can feel they are tense because they need to "justify" the high rate in the end even though they hate it, you don't want them to even try because it's forced, yet it's difficult to communicate. Avoid. Massage should be fun and relaxation.

Massage is a highly personal service, when you corner someone into doing something they are not happy with how good can it be? The only way I might hire one of the two is when the other travels and is not in town, then you might have a shot, and "occasionally" probably refers to those situations. They clearly want to work together and have issues they are working on. It's not like they hid their preference, they just stated it in too mild a way. Granted, it was unpleasant on your side but try to imagine the fight they might have had in the runup to the message you received? Finally, look at the bright side, there are other stories on this forum in which the masseurs ditch a 2-handed massage without any warning and never-ever even acknowledge or apologize. Think about what that might do to their interpersonal dynamics and self-esteem of one of the two. As I stated before, if you are into 2-handed, best not to mess with couples working together.

I no longer schedule anything with guys offering 4-handed massages. I like individual 1-on-1 experiences and I know that they are likely to ditch me if another client who wants a 4-handed massage shows up. It's simple math to them, they earn way more money and they work together (which they like) that way, rather than have one work on me and the other being idle and bored. Granted, a promise we made is more important to the rest of us but a traveling masseur or a masseur couple are unlikely to see you ever again, so they are prone to behaving more opportunistically. The only downside to them being this forum Plus how engaged can a masseur be if he is thinking about his boyfriend impatiently waiting in the other room, or wherever? So whenever a masseur tries to sell me a 4-handed upgrade I just cancel and move on.

Am I the only guy who feels like the hotter the two guys, the more you feel like a third wheel? So much so that I tend to cancel the massage if the guy tries to push his partner on me. I mean, how engaged can he really be if he prefers something else (working with his buddy and making more money in aggregate) to working on you alone (as YOU prefer)? The anal/controlling personality and charm of a nosy southern landlady who also happens to think she is "all that." The massage was technically ok but the vibe was weird from the start, that is, the formal and faux-friendly chat upfront that felt more like an interview. It all culminated in the attempted "sensual" or "erotic" (he lists both, go figure!) part, when he left the room to take off his shorts and came back with a sock on his package LOL. It was like, "Dude, relax, I have no desire to touch you and I certainly don't want you touching me." I couldn't wait to pay and get out of his "4-star hotel room." Yeah, when someone brags about the places they stay when nobody asks, it should be a red flag. Not the worst massage I ever got but definitely the most ridiculous massage experience.

I wonder what they require of masseurs advertising in cities outside the United States? They are a global site (although I cheer for rentmasseur kicking their ass). Maybe they do the same passport + selfie routine for all, but then the question is whether they check whether a Ukrainian masseur located in Paris has the authorization to work in France? The same questions go for Canada too, eh? ;-)

While $250 is certainly pushing it, at least IMHO, I actually like the idea of specializing in the high end segment of the market. I'd much rather see a masseur who does 90 minute appointments only than one that does strictly 60 minutes. It's a more thorough massage and a more relaxed experience for the client, and it can be a very good business strategy for the masseur as there are fewer setups to coordinate and the clientele is likely to be higher paying. This is NOT for a newbie who "doesn't know what to do" (I've often heard that, a big red flag!) with the client for 90 minutes. Well, a masseur that knows how to and does the head, feet, hands, chest/front, it actually makes sense! Having said that, I am comfortable going up to $240 for a truly great 90-minute experience, so it better be extraordinary if the rate is higher. I might see Jay next time in NY, while the rate is high, he seems like an educated, sexy, mature dude, just my type ;-)!

Could be, but are there really THAT many guys that go for that scam? Who in their right mind would send $60 to a complete stranger, for a service that is typically paid after you get it? And in cash. I mean, these crooks are paying for these ads on rentmasseur so they must be generating enough money to make it worthwhile. There has to be enough "critical mass" of customers that go for it. Or it's something else? What bothers me is that these guys are ruining RM, way too many fishy ads as of late.

They keep registering new profiles with the exact same text as soon old profiles expire.

I texted him way back, it seems that he is a prospector, announces a trip and then comes if enough guys contact him. I am tired of those games, plus he didn't seem all that friendly or together, so I don't think I'll try until someone posts a rave review here.
