It could be that some grab-the-money-and-run masseurs are trying to compensate for the increasing fees of (those bastards at) masseurfinder.com in this way? A good masseur that does this seriously and gets many clients each week has no intention of jacking up his rates just because masseur.com is charging him $20-40 more per month, that would make no sense. But if you get few massages, usually because you are bad or unknown, that's a whole different story. I do have to note that my favorite masseurs have held their rates constant for a number of years now. Jake and David in Chicago, Brad and Anthony in NYC, and Alexei in Miami. And yeah, they are all in the $130-160 range, but I think it's justified. To echo all-American above, the worst is when someone charges you $130-140 for a massage that's neither sensual nor therapeutic. Too many guys apparently think this is easy money and get way over their heads.

I think one can always anonymize his negative review by avoiding details that are too specific. A masseur that stood up one client is very likely to do the same to others. So, maybe wait a little (to avoid being fresh in the masseur's memory), but then say what you have to say. On this site, of course, because MF is a waste of time anyway.

Why not make a semi-funny remark when you turn around? That's the point at which it's obvious to both of you that both of you know what's going on. He knows that you know that he knows it, so say something like "pardon my excitement" and/or "does this happen often with other guys" etc. Then see how he responds...

Brad is one of my all time favorites, competent masseur, friendly, smart, and hot. Plus he is really my type, so that helps too. The downside is that you have to travel up north but the neighborhood is nice and kinda cool to discover. I also like Anthony from massagem4m, these are my two favorites that I revisit whenever back in NYC. Although that Alex hottie is really tempting too, might include him next time, I am surprised nobody has tried yet. It is now my firm policy to cancel the appointment if someone else shows up. No matter how much I want the massage and even if the replacement is pretty hot. Sorry, that shit just isn't unacceptable. I think there is some kind of Eastern European scam going on, in which some sort of pimp is who you text and there is a whole bunch of guys that actually show up, and they all use just one ad on RM or MF, often with a totally fake pic that doesn't correspond to any of the guys. No, thanks! I don't even see how I could relax and enjoy the massage that's so shady from the get-go.

I was decidedly disappointed with Alex/Olexandrr, one of those "now you can finish yourself" guys, a total vibe killer for me, I prefer no attempts at "sensuality" over something as lame as that. Thinking back to my DC trip, I was underwhelmed by the choice of masseurs too.

My point, and something that is referenced in multiple posts above is that he DOES NOT GET NAKED. From what I remember, he demanded payment upfront when he visited Chicago, like "leave the money on that table over there." There was also someone else in the apartment during the massage, which felt awkward. Pretty good massage, though, nude from what I remember, but I wasn't up for interaction, nor was he really into it, that whole start killed the vibe. He texted me once when he came back to Chi but I ignored it, so he must have deleted my name from his phone, he never texted again.
