  1. Agressove travel schedule as another bad sign, in addition to the lame $175 rate. Sept. 3 - 5: Saint Louis, MO Sept. 5 - 8: Nashville, TN Sept. 8 - 9: Louisville, KY Sept. 9 - 11: Cincinnati, OH Sept. 11 - 13: Indianapolis, IN Sept. 18 - 21: Raleigh, NC Seriously, I am surprised that there are any takers here.
  2. When constantly changing your name is no longer enough, and you run out of uninformed clients who might go for your service, "extreme prospecting" is the thing to do: Aug. 29 - 31: Cincinnati, OH Aug. 31 - Sept. 1: Lexington, KY Sept. 1 - 3: Nashville, TN Sept. 3 - 4: Louisville, KY Sept. 4 - 6: St Louis, MO Sept. 6 - 8: Indianapolis, IN Sept. 8 - 10: Troy, MI Sept. 10 - 11: Grand Rapids, MI Sept. 11 - 12: Milwaukee, WI Sept. 12 - 13: Madison, WI Sept. 13 - 15: Minneapolis, MN Sept. 15 - 17: Kansas City, MO Sept. 17 - 18: Oklahoma City, OK Sept. 18 - 19: Dallas, TX Sept. 19 - 21: Austin, TX Sept. 21 - 23: Houston, TX Sept. 23 - 25: Baton Rouge, LA Sept. 25 - 27: New Orleans, LA Normally based in: Los Angeles, CA Talk about insane...
  3. WOW! As much as I loved the city, the masseur market was a horror show. https://rentmasseur.com/Maximusp Lives quite far from the city proper but wouldn't say where exactly so it was tough to see how much time and money I'd have to spend on Lyft (is it so tough to give the nearest corner if address is too much?). I didn't have much time anyway so I suggested an outcall. He quoted me a rate and I was going to go for it but we couldn't make it work time-wise. I contacted him the following day and he gave me another rate. I wanted to avoid hassles so I said OK, but then he wanted 50% upfront via Apple pay. WTF?! https://rentmasseur.com/NorthEndMasseur Kept changing his tune regarding 90-minute massages and I ignored much weirdness in communication to try to schedule an incall (he doesn't do outcalls). Then, before he would give me his address he wanted to know my race. WTF? Sorry, that's a major deal breaker, and in the liberal city of Boston of all places?! WTF?! https://rentmasseur.com/ScottMagicHand I am not into younger masseurs but I was running out of choices. I sent a polite short text asking about his location, whether he did 90-minute appointments, and if he would be available later during the day. His response that evening, after more than 6 hours: try tmr. Literally. 6 letters and one space. What, am I supposed to retype my questions tomorrow so that your highness can answer? And if you are busy today, you can simply answer my questions tomorrow. In any case, way too rude and unprofessional to pursue further. https://www.masseurfinder.com/massage-therapists/27847/ Finally, I noticed that this dude showed up in town, so this was my last attempt. I got in touch via text and it seemed I was about to go to his hotel for a massage. Then he suddenly dropped off the radar screen. He sent another note the following day, "sorry I got busy" but it just seemed bizarre and I was running out of time anyway. And patience with Boston masseurs
  4. Like the money but hate the job :-) The dude could be a good regular masseur charging $80-100 per hour. And/or working at a spa.
  5. Oh Gawd, one of the worst experiences ever. I posted so many times about him, he keeps changing his name (which says it all), used to go by Alex and lived in Chicago. The pix are ANCIENT too.
  6. I am phasing out answering my phone completely, just leave me a message or, even better, send me a text. And if someone wants to talk to me, we'd better schedule via text first. Answering the phone is disruptive, you have to drop whatever you are doing, and I hate that. Text sits quietly on your phone until you can answer. Another significant benefit is that you have records of what's been said (no potential for disputes "you said this or that"), addresses link to you maps apps, so everything is just easier. Finally, if you think about it, the masseur may be sitting in a hotel lobby or restaurant when you want to get in touch. It would be awkward to talk loudly about things like naked massage, happy ending, etc. but he can usually text about these things without any problems. In fact, I once texted a masseur and was majorly annoyed when he felt like he could call me back instead of answering the fucking questions I posed in a short text. I was in a hotel lobby waiting to check in. Of course, I'd want to talk over the phone or in person if I were to hire a personal assistant or secretary, but for one massage it's just not worth it. And if it's a repeat visit, I don't need to hear the masseur, I know him.
  7. Of course, everyone can run their business any way they see fit but I thought I'd clarify how some of us clients feel about the choice of hotels of some traveling masseurs. #1 Please avoid dumpy motels! They are a huge turnoff. I will NOT go for a massage in a place that I suspect will be or even just feel dirty or smell bad. Massage is a luxury experience, so please keep that in mind. It doesn't have to be a 4-star hotel but it cannot be a 30 year old motel that has never seen a renovation. And if it's one of those places where you enter your room from a shared terrace, forget it! #2 The choice of a dump is particularly galling if your rate is $150 or $160 an hour. That's like running a high end French restaurant and using plastic forks, it just won't work.
  8. And just like that, he is now jetting to SF from Detroit, 1 day in each city. Maybe he has a teleporting machine?
  9. He must have a private supersonic jet. He is now based in Chicago and will spend exactly one day in Indianapolis, Detroit, and Louisville each. I think I smell bogus.
  10. Let's revisit this topic! The offer seems surprisingly poor for a city of that size and wealth, maybe it's the insane cost of renting a place? Anyway, I'd appreciate any info on the following two masseurs: https://rentmasseur.com/Maximusp https://rentmasseur.com/NorthEndMasseur Needless to say any other suggestions are more than welcome!

You are probably right and I am for sure confused! :-) Looks like the fantom with fake pix keeps changing his name at a rate never seen before. None of his links seem to be working.

I think that's another dude, with a similar name only. The guy you are referencing uses someone else's pix, the guy here uses his own pix but is just lame.

Here is another thread: https://m4m-forum.org/threads/any-411-on-mmike.150823/#post-1758561 Bottom line: I would avoid.
  14. I would place a huge bet that nothing has changed as long as his posted rates are under $160 or even more. Use your big heads, guys. Someone this hot checking all 3 boxes on rentmasseur and quoting only $140, come on! Not to mention clear modeling aspirations. Granted, some of these guys aren't that smart but they are not idiots, if it seems too good to be true...
  15. Whenever they keep changing their name, that tells you everything you need to know. One of my worst experiences ever. Nothing like a self-centered diva who thinks of himself as a "model," and clearly hates doing what he does to pay the bills. Actually, he doesn't even do it, as he doesn't deliver anything close to a decent massage and even less in sensuality. PS But I am grateful that he got me off masseurfinder relatively early, saving me time and energy. I remember posting a negative review which he immediately deleted, making me recognize the site's fatal flaw.
  16. This shit has to stop and rentmasseur better introduce pic/profile verification for all. If they don't, they become accomplices in deliberate deception of their clientele and robbery of countless unsuspecting people whose identities are effectively stolen. There is way too much of this on their site to be ignored. This athlete should sue them as far as I am concerned, what an outrage to be exposed to just so that some unscrupulous turd, and rentmasseur (!), can make some money!
  17. I have to disagree, it would be if he had picked it for a social network. As a masseur name/ID, it is both descriptive ;-) and effective for what it is supposed to do. Appearing here under the same name is right, refreshing (I am tired of positive reviews by "novices"), and smart. It shows integrity and desire to hear the client's side & feedback, no wonder he has so many fans. Thumbs up!
  18. Uber-hot pix, checking all 3 types of massage, and charging only $140?! Gentlemen, connect the dots. Using your big head :-)
  19. Hi, could you PM me about Lucas as well? It's time for me to try someone new in Chicago and I am intrigued by your prior comments, maybe I should try at least once...
  20. Yep, same here, I saw this guy before but he used someone else's pix back then. Competent masseur and ok massage but zero interaction, in fact, careful avoidance of any interaction. Clearly uncomfortable being naked with you (some American guys have this hang-up, as opposed to the Russian/European hang-up also known as "now-can-do-it-yourself"), I'd avoid.
  21. I certainly support all methods to get our money's worth, but going aggressively after all of my booked time just isn't my thing. Honestly, I don't see much upside in getting those last 10-15 minutes left on the clock, due to "karma." Massage should be an intimate, "good energy," experience among other things, and if I have to remind the masseur to deliver, fuck it! I don't need the negative energy associated with him having to go back to the drawing board after the point at which he thought he was done with me. So, if it's our first encounter, I'll make sure I spread the word that the masseur sucks, here and in my personal contacts, but that's about it. If the theft of time was egregious, like giving a 60-minute massage when we agreed to do 90 minutes, I'll pay the 60-minute rate. If it the theft of time was 20 minutes or less, I'll just go with the flow but end on a very dry note (no hugs) and say something at the end. Guys who don't provide value cannot stay in this business for long, and it is a miserable existence as they try to hang on, forced to travel all the time in search of uninformed clients. Fuck that lifestyle, I don't need to throw more shit on that pile. If it is, as suggested in the initial post, a gradual drift toward worse and worse massage and less and less time by a masseur I liked initially, I just cut it and stop making additional appointments at some point and I apply what I said above. So far, I have 4 of those in my files , but then there are those who get better and provide MORE over time, these are the true gems to focus on. And KEEP.
  22. Yes, and this is the difference between smart guys that get it (that a repeat client is the best client) and dumb asses who start to take you for granted. Economists have this notion of “reservation price or utility.” Basically, you’ll go back to a masseur for as long as you feel that you are getting more out of the experience than you would by spending your money and time elsewhere (reservation utility). A smart masseur knows that he has to leave enough utility for you “on the table” so that you’ll be enticed to come back. This is not too difficult as long as he likes or at least doesn’t hate his job. A dumb (read: a model? ), or lazy, or job-hating, ass will try to find your limit, not realizing that once he finds it, it’s too late! Hair stylists and other service providers are also known to do this, and I am not sure whether and how it can be remedied. If I encounter a dumb ass I just move on. If someone is that type I believe I am unlikely to be able to change it. If you confront them, they will most likely be defensive. The best shot is if they contact you inquiring why you haven’t asked for an appointment in a long time, but this is rare. Then you might have an opening, but even then it is best to tell them that you are not going back and this is something they should keep in mind moving forward and with other clients. If you go back you risk a whole bunch of complicated codependency dynamics & shit ;-) I guess I am War-and-Peacing it here to get across another seemingly unrelated but important point: Don’t try to push anyone including your BF, coworkers, boss, or masseur (yes, like pretty much anything this cuts both ways), to their reservation utility unless you are ready to lose them. Once you find the limit, it’s too late!
  23. I ask anyway so it’s not an issue for me. I agree with Balthazar that this is only natural when they list multiple types of massage, on rentmasseur for example. When it comes to masseurfinder, I wrap this question in my initial inquiry about the availability, location, etc. by asking about the rates for different types of massage for 60 and 90 minutes. The answer typically gives you clues whether it’s strictly therapeutic, so I ask even though most ads there list the price. ;-) PS. Sometimes I get a really curt answer that all the info is given in the ad, in which case I go silent. And laugh to myself because I got the info I wanted.
  24. I tried connecting when he was in Chicago. Way too many strings and red flags, like 60-minute outcalls only, and it seemed like he schedules these on a hit-and-run basis to get some cash when he needs to. The pix are very old too.
