  1. Having just looked at that other thread, it seems to me that negative impressions were articulated by MOST or even ALL who have experienced your massage, not just "SOME." If one gets overwhelmingly negative feedback, one can try to adjust and learn or one can adopt the "get over it" defensive posture. Oh, well,... As far as not trying other Serbian or Eastern European masseurs or not going to Serbia :-), here is the problem: Many of my worst experiences have been with Russian masseurs. But 50% of my favorite masseurs are Russian as well (Brad NYC, Alexei Miami, Anthony NYC), and these guys are true gems, so it's a tough call.
  2. Note to masseurs: Please don't try this shit! It really leaves one with no good option. - You might be able to say yes but you'll go into the appointment annoyed and feeling like your time hasn't been respected. Not a good setup. And you'll probably get a shitty unfocused massage by a guy who is unable to properly manage his time, whether because he is trying to squeeze in way too many clients or because he has other things going on. I am particularly annoyed by casual "masseurs" who do a massage or two a day to finance their lifestyle and travel, these guys are typically clueless about the massage anyway. And life in general. - Or you politely cancel, which is what I now do. Cut your losses and don't waste any more time on someone who obviously doesn't deserve it. Granted, the whole effort in setting things up gets wasted and you have to change your plans but that's probably the least bad thing that can happen.
  3. You have to wonder why these dudes bother advertising. I mean, it costs money to have your ad posted on 3 sites, but what's the point if you are not going to respond to potential customers? Or could it be that he figured I'd be difficult to scam? Getting a bad vibe in any case.
  4. Bump, do we have any new info here? His pix seem familiar, which usually isn't a good sign...
  5. Oh, no! My fuse is getting short when it comes to these issues. Many of the traveling guys I've seen recently don't even bother to get extra towels from the hotel. It is absolutely fucking gross and unacceptable to do multiple massages on the same towel on their bed. And they don't even get how bad this is. A serious masseur brings a table and arranges plentiful fresh sheets from the hotel.
  6. Hey, he is Eastern European, this part of the world has been through a lot. Depression, oppression, repression, suppression... I just hope he does the glutes and doesn't suffer from that other "Eastern European hang-up." It is one of my missions in life not to hear "now you can finish yourself" ever gain.
  7. Upcharge for that, but not much interaction or involvement, pure mechanics, with positioning to minimize mt. I wasn't into it anyway.
  8. My quest for another NYC masseur to become my regular continues, any info on this one? PM me if you prefer, thanks! https://rentmasseur.com/Derrek
  9. Bump, any info on Rob, PM me if you prefer. Thanks! NYC, here I come :-)
  10. I am surprised I can't find anything on this guy, given his looks and location. The relatively high price means that it's either an obnoxious scam or a really nice experience. I'll withhold my preliminary private assessment which one is more likely, for now :-) https://www.masseurfinder.com/massage-therapists/35174/
  11. Nice and friendly dude but that's it. Not as good looking as the pix would suggest, and not in great shape. Massage skills sub-par because he has another job. Upcharge for a nude massage with mt but not worth it, a clear non-repeat for me... :-(
  12. Going to NY soon, would love to hear more why Justin was a disappointment, here or in a PM! Thank you, can't wait to check out the city, been a while...
  13. A good (but not very good, as you'll se below) therapeutic massage & stretching by a straight guy. Who also happens to be completely clueless about what checking the "sensual" and "erotic" boxes on rentmasseur means to potential clients. No hint of sensuality during the massage, avoidance of the glutes (important to me, a massage cannot be very good if this is an issue), fully dressed all the time. I guess there is willingness to give a very mechanical and sudden HE at the end but what's the point? Sorry, I can get a better therapeutic massage for $50 less. I commented on what I call "the American hang-up" before, the difference between straight American and Russian/Eastern European dudes (who have their own hang-up) is fascinating. But I think I am done with straight masseurs, period.
  14. Any updates here? His ad disappeared for a while but is now back on.
  15. He was mentioned in several threads, one of my worst experiences ever. A catty, overweight diva that's much older and heavier than in the pix, and from what I remember, he even tried upcharges on me, I'd SO stay away.
  16. I think listing $175 is lame. Yeah, right, I'll have a $5 dollar bill or five $1 bills plus one $10 bill, probably not. So it will likely turn into $180 because anything else would be awkward. Way overpriced in my books, at $150 per hour already, and especially at $160 or higher, I definitely expect my masseur to be comfortable being naked with me. And many will just get naked right away, which is something I am starting to appreciate more and more, I feel I shouldn't even have to ask. I have an excellent professional masseur at a chiropractor's office next door charging $80 an hour, so that's my baseline. I don't see why I should pay a guy $100 extra to massage me in his undies no matter how cute he is. Might as well spend that money on lap dances at a strip bar...
  17. You have to give it to them, they are persistent. Must be that enough people are going for whatever scam they sell. Here is the recipe: (1) simultaneous presence in several locations scattered around the country, they obviously want to come up in as many searches as possible, (2) hot pix, with the obvious purpose of getting many interested and horned up, (3) ad text that seems machine generated and (4) stats that often make no sense. Case in point: https://rentmasseur.com/rickyy
  18. Decent massage, but that's about it. Even though I am into more mature guys, it's a turnoff when they seem unwilling to accept their age and lie about it in their ads. He is in great shape but the whole sensual aspect was a resounding "meh," I couldn't get into it. Even though his rate is not outrageous and he is friendly, not worth a repeat in my books. PS I kept the conversation to a minimum during the massage and there were no issues, but he does like to chat, which became clear as I was getting dressed after the massage. Not a bad experience but not great either.
  19. It figures, scoping the market. Keeps changing his itinerary in real time, it's a waste of time.
  20. He is hot, gets naked for the massage, and his English is good enough. Unfortunately, the positives end here. He is pretty clueless about the massage. Whereas some non-masseurs try to compensate for their lack of knowledge & skills by emphasizing sensuality, that's so not the case here. You spend the entire time face down (he might as well not massage you naked) while he "works" on your back and legs, carefully avoiding your glutes. Then you turn around and he immediately tries to go into a very mechanical HE, no, thanks! He clearly doesn't like interaction or being touched, and that he texted during the appointment didn't help either. And forget about music, this straight dude prefers to keep an eye on a stupid movie on TV, I guess he needs a distraction from you and his work that he really isn't into. Sorry to say this, but one more confirmation of the "too good to be true" principle. Whereas you may look at his rentmasseur ad and wonder about the relatively low price (and no, there are no upcharges or extras offered), the truth is that it's a waste of time and money at any rate :-(
  21. The last sentence in his ad says all you need to know: " i do accept advance payment upfront" If this doesn't scream SCAM I don't know what does. Just move on, not worth your time...
