There will always be bad clients. Here - the moment the guy asked for a "special rate" you should have put your foot down. However, I and many other clients have been robbed by paying first. After you see a thief grab the cash and run off without doing anything, we learn the same. The best option is to have the money in an envelope, out in the open during the session, and the provider can grab it on the way out.

That's a decision that should be respected by a client. However, you may not have had to "pretend" to be his boyfriend. If all he wanted was to "give the impression" that you were dating, being together should be enough. If he insisted on PDA or actually telling people you were dating, that might break some boundaries, though.

I do know that providers who meet in person discuss their clients or ask questions about them. But I'm not present when that happens, nor do I plan to be.

That's up to individual clients and their circumstances. If an escort is late, even for legitimate reasons, clients have the option of canceling. To be fair, you should tell the provider if you're on a strict schedule and can't be flexible.

I found an explanation for this. Consumer spending has been down for a year, but only among low wage earners. Now it's going down for the entire middle class. Cause is likely inflation and credit- fueled spending...a vice not limited to gay men by any means.
