It is always hard to decide what is a "gay movie." Putting that aside and hoping not to repeat and in no particular order, I have really liked:

    1. Beautiful Thing
    2. The Opposite of Sex
    3. Happy Endings
    4. The Day Trippers
    5. My Beautiful Laundrette
    6. Beginners
    7. Bound
    8. Gods and Monsters
    9. Prick Up Your Ears

I have to admit that Angels in America is my favorite in general.

"You can't treat me like a dog, you know." :-) Great movie.

I particularly like that fact that he DOESN'T end up with someone of his class. That was very typical of "those" writers--EM Forster, Somerset Maughm, Gide, Genet--and also their "students"--Tenessee Williams, Gore Vidal, Isherwood (Sorry Bachardi, if you're reading this): Heaven forfend any of them should date or fuck within their class and education. Fuck that, they wanted the working class boys, even when they were young boys themselves. Adam Smith you strike me as similar to these men in your tastes; I may be wrong.

The last scene of Maurice when he and Rupert Graves finally find each other in the boathouse is one of the most erotic and romantic gay scenes ever filmed and has become my happy place! I go there whenever I think romance has died.

I loved this movie! I saw it on cable when I was a teen, and immediately fell in love with British actor Rupert Graves. He was also the straight, cis male love interest in the British queer movie "Different for Girls," about a formerly "gay"guy who, as an adult, transitioned to "straight" female and then reconnects with, and falls for, his former grade school friend. He's still a decent looking guy now, in his 50s, but the young Mr. Graves was quite the crushworthy foreign actor for this then-closeted queen.

I am a fan of Broke Back Mountain. It may be overexposed, but it struck a chord.
Longtime Companion and Angels in America both evoke a time and place and circumstance that rings true for me.
The Broken Heart's Club is a gay rom com which is a guilty pleasure.

I think AdamSmith and Marylander1940 Should discuss their differences by sending private messages to each other and let the rest of us continue to discuss the topic of this thread which is "getting ripped off by a client" which is what I intend to do.

From an accounting point of view all businesses recognize bad debt expenses and allowances for doubtful accounts that are routinely written off after being deemed uncollectible (normally after one year, but not always). Of course businesses have legal channels and remedies available to them, i.e., reporting bad debts to credit reporting agencies, filing a lien in certain cases, the court system and various other avenues.

However, in this case there don't appear any realistic or viable opportunities available to you since you're operating an illegal business operation. An attempt to collect using normal channels would be shot down in a New York minute. My take on this situation is that you just need to realize this is going to happen from time to time. Accept it, move on and adjust your pricing structure to accommodate such losses. Yes, it sucks getting stiffed $60 but if that's the worst think that happens to you in this business you are are way ahead of the game and should consider yourself luck.

@Mocha Holding onto anger is like drinking poison and expecting the other person to die. I think a good rule of thumb in this forum is just to always take what Mocha says and do the opposite, provided that you want to feel content, peaceful, or whole-hearted, rather than jaded, angry, bitter, or a whole host of other negative emotions.

Junior, you are entitled to feel violated if you wish, but comparing your situation to rape does not sit well with me. You were fine providing your service to this client for x$ before the situation and during the situation, but then after because the money was x-60$ it became rape? I don't think that is really how it works. I don't intend to tell you how to feel, because again, I'm sorry you were shorted and I know that sucks, but I think giving the situation that much weight isn't going to be helpful to you.

Tell your story to a survivor of sexual assault or a violent crime (I am at least one of those) and be prepared for such a big eye roll or jaw drop that the person's anatomy might be irrevocably damaged.

i know this is an old thread but i coincidentally met this guy recently outside of the escort world. i did not realize who it was at first. i can't speak to if the x pics are accurate but i can say his g pics are. he is a really buff guy. he is from Poland and he is a real redhead and pretty good looking.

i will add though he is a total asshole. he made fun of the guys that hire him and admitted to scamming guys by cumming right away and then leaving before the time is up because "that is really what the guys want anyway". he was so condescending saying he just has to whip his cock out and he could get guys to give him as much money as he wanted. he said he charged people based in how good looking they are.

i hope this isn't a violation of the rules. not really reviewing him just reporting back my verbal interaction with him. I have to say he made me really sad. sad for him and sad for men that hire him.
