  1. apologies, been a long time since I saw the movie. Then just the one character is addicted to alcohol. Great photo, maybe it was a scene that got cut, or maybe they posed for the posters, like they do in porn :-)
  2. My fault entirely. I thought OP meant original post not original poster (where is he by the way?). Sorry for the confusion. I was panning you for your earlier criticism of the Original Post's subject heading; presumably the word "import" offended, troubled, you. Being rankled by playful and perhaps vulgar (sorry xyz48B, I don't drink ) word usages, a "fresh meat" label tacked onto a hot new guy or "import" titling a post focused on helping a hot foreign guy, on an Escort Review site, is just lame.
  3. BullFuckingshit, the OP subject line, nor post, did NOT commoditize people, it was clearly a wink. You all need to read some novels, besides Animal Farm, which was sixth friggin' grade, to learn how to contextualize. Your skins make onions seem bullet-proof.
  4. Wether it's conscious, or unconscious, virtue signaling, or if some are in fact offended by the OP's use of the word "Imported", the implication was clearly tongue-in-cheek, a sly reference to how different from, not similar to, his situation is to bringing in, say, foreign cigars. You all remind me of the students in that Netflix Sandra Oh show about professors, wherein one, hot in a nebbish way (but the actor is not Jewish), professor lost everything after making a small, sarcastic, Nazi Salute that was, in the context of what he was explaining in lecture, completely useful.
  5. If you're in a major city, or if you're like Benjamin NichoIas and people send you to the major cities, it definitely feels like the high-life when you start out. You go from memories of childhood slopeside Holiday Inn stays with the family, to entire weekends at the Peninsula Hotel in...., you know, wherever.
  6. This March it will be full time (for a couple years I had two full time jobs, the other being engineering) for 23 years. I'm still advertising as 26 :-)
  7. That may, in part, be why he started drinking, but that doesn't mean he'll now be able, or willing, to stop. Oh well, best to these two hot, made-up, men :-)
  8. Love this movie. Gorgeous. Additionally, what everybody forgets to think about, is that their life together is likely going to be horrible. Both of them, particularly the Brit., are raging alcoholics. Love doesn't make that go away
  9. I get that. He stuck in a bunch of stuff from childhood, and not all of it needed inclusion. I'm a sucker for movies that have images, the chandelier, and scenes, the outdoor lunch with the family, that stick with me, and as a result forgive things, non-cohesive stories and random, unattached, scenes, too much of a pass. p.s. this movie would not be nearly as enjoyable, for me, on the small screen. I neglected to mention that. Hope you like the next movie you watch :-)
  10. that Gif is adorable, thank you.

  12. I like his movies, particularly The Great Beauty, and his HBO series. The Hand of God is beautiful (I saw it in the theater). I wish he had shortened it after what happened in the alpine house, it seemed like he didn't know when to end it actually. But definitely worth seeing. (I still prefer the Amalfi Coast over nearby Naples, but he definitely opened my eyes to it's sometimes hidden depths and beauty)
  13. extraordinary film. people who don't know would swear they filmed every scene in Morocco.
  14. Those rubber sheets look super practical, and, unless that's your fetish, I can't imagine how awful they'd feel to fuck on. Darker sheets hide the stains that persist after washing. Buy cheaper ones, so you can replace them when needed w/o breaking the bank.
  15. Well this thread went nowhere. Sorry Coconut!
  16. You are most welcome. Additionally, there's much to enjoy in Athens. I've been there at the worst possible time of year, late August, and still had a great time. People don't like it, because it's crowded. It's popular because it's important. Why don't people get that? I would say, unless you're an alcoholic, the place to skip, if you had to skip a "must see", would be Mykonos.
  17. Ignore people who say "skip Santorini". It's popular because it's beautiful. Jesus Christ, those sunsets. You can and should take the Ferry from Santorini to Folegandros.
  18. I'm glad you said, "until you get it right", instead of "until you get it straight"!
  19. No time like tonight.
  20. Folegandros ! One of my favorite places on earth. https://www.greektravel.com/greekislands/folegandros/

  22. I don't believe in an afterlife. You might. Regardless, even though she's gone, talk to Mom every day. Give yourself time to grieve, but soon tell her you're gay, say it as if she were right in front of you. Additionally, don't frame these conversations with caveats of, "I wish", such as "I wish I'd told you this before" "I wish we had more time". Those things are true, but you already know them. So, talk like she's right there. You will not be lonely. There are gay rock climbing groups, gay reading groups, gay larping groups, gay muslim groups. Reach out. Gay is a community, so sooner rather than later, make yourself at home.
