How can anyone (provider and clients) think this is acceptable behavior? Even checking once is to much! Don't put it on vibrate, don't put on silent- turn off your fucking phone for an hour. The world will not end if you miss a text message or a call.

I think there are two types of fake ads:

Ads you do get responses from the advertisers, but the pix are fake. These are bait and switch traps as mentioned above. Those are dime a dozen.
Ads where none has ever got any response from the advertiser (e.g. https://www.mintboys.com/male-escorts/san-francisco/5b46d0619b69742e8d4ebb60)

    My question was about #2.

    @CarolinaRen, welcome to the forum!

    1. You screwed up the time. Did he text to ask you if you were coming? How did you know you had the wrong time?
    2. You arrived 15 minutes late.
    3. The massage only lasted 25 minutes before the masseur ended it?
    4. You paid and left. Did you express disappointment on not getting the full 40 minutes that remained of the hour after your tardiness.

It was unprofessional of the guy to express frustration with you about his prior client. That's not your fault. Expressing some frustration with you about your tardiness is completely appropriate, especially if he books back-to-back clients. But, he should've provided you with the full remaining time you paid for, assuming you paid the agreed upon one-hour rate.

I've noticed that some providers who also provide an HE frequently end the sessions if the HE results in "happiness" because their experience is that many clients are "done" once they're happy. I've also run across a few providers who continue working after "happiness" is achieved to provide the total time.

I actually had a guy start off with me on my back (which I thought was unusual, until....) pretty quickly it got into almost full on sex (we both got off), but then he finished my front, had me flip over and worked on my back...for the full hour. Interesting way to start a massage!

Is it one of those situations where the HE occurred maybe before the masseur had planned? If so, perhaps he thought you were "finished", so it was over?
I have experienced that, but the masseur still finished the time....( after clean up...ha. )
Otherwise, then yes, the massage should have lasted the remaining part of the hour you paid for, especially after the late start!

If I feel like i want to extend the pleasure and i have more time on my appointment, I will say to the masseur that I’m really close. They will usually slow down a bit or just tease a bit or work on another area and then come back to it.

Not an expert, but I suspect the higher temperature connected to tight fitting underwear is a major contributor. I am not a fan of loose fitting underwear - dont like them too tight either. Luckily, sperm count isnt exacly high on my list of priorities.

Lucas it is safe to say that no one on this site should presume to tell you how to operate your business. How you do that is totally up to you and you alone. However, the one thing you should have learned, by now, is that virtually nobody on this site is sympathetic to or understanding of the manner in which you do business. Probably the best advise anybody here could give you is continue doing business as you see fit but don't waste your time posting here.

    Hi Lucas.

I'm a board certified physician. I graduated from a top quartile US medical school and residency program (I dont say that to brag, but to assure you I'm no under-achiever & actually know what I'm talking about). I've practiced Medicine for years. I've personally worked directly with & come across many physician colleagues and neither myself nor any of my peers have ever asked for a deposit. You are simply wrong.

It's not about trust, sir. This is Business. The restaurant gets paid AFTER the meal. The Accountant gets paid after doing the clients taxes. And the Barber. And the housekeeper. And the Uber driver. And the physician like myself (see above). The list goes on & on. Guess what: you are also on that list, too. You get paid AFTER services rendered, not before.

I'm sorry you had to go thru this, Lucas. No one deserves to be treated this way.

You write the conversation got "heated", so ask yourself, as a professional, what part did you contribute to this debacle? Please reflect on specifically what you said and how (if at all) it added to the tension of this encounter gone bad. Please reflect with deep self honesty. I'm a professionaland & I've had to go this exercise in my career and no, it's not fun, but its important for growth. Clearly you need some, um, professional growith, also.

    Um, what does that matter.....????
You sound really privileged, like you are demanding White Privilege. Just sounds bad all around. Like a pro-Trump supporter from the Alt-Right marching on Charlotesville. Please come to this forum and explain this statement cuz I'm sure you wouldn't want potential clients (like me) thinking you are a bigot. But I'm very open to a logical, non-racist explanation of your statement.

Sorry man, but you cant rely on your clients for fiscal safety. Going out of town as an escort with all the extra expenditures that accrue are the risks YOU take as a BUSSINESSMAN. Trying to get clients to shoulder this risk will only get you a bad response (see this entire thread for an example), as you are learning.

Wait, you wont trust us clients to pay but you expect us to trust that you a "man of his word"? We dont know you from Adam. Expecting us to believe/trust you on that is ridiculous and fantastical thinking on your part. Get over yourself, Mr Businessman. Guess what? I practice what I preach. I see a patient in my office and then bill accordingly and I sometimes DONT get paid, believe it or not. But it's part of my budget- I plan on a (small) percentage of unpaid bill's. It's called the Cost of Doing Business. Dude, take some business classes.

No, you tarnished it yourself. From all you have said here, I know I'll never hire you. I NEVER pre-pay. Nor do my friends.

No, it isn't. It's for clients, like me, to have a method and strategy to expose jerks and rough-trade who may harm us fiscally, emotionally or even physically. Are YOU one of those?

I am fearful of the answer.

Guess I have been lucky as never in my life has a doctor required or even requested a deposit from me.

Experience has taught me, never never never send an escort a deposit for an hourly hire. Your best case scenario is that you might get it back or applied to your session.

If I'm following you correctly, the frustration isn't so much about where you live but when you visit somewhere that when you contact escorts who advertise in the area that it turns out they aren't actually there. I get your point -- it happens where I live quite often and is sometimes obvious because the ad will give a variety of areas where the escort will be over a several weeks' long period, with the entire duration listed for each destination. There are also men who live an hour's drive away who have ads as if they live in my city, and while they may be willing to travel to me there is no indication in many ads that if I wanted to do an in call that they are actually not that close to me.

My suggestion to you: Just contact men in advance if you have a trip planned and you are browsing ads in advance of the trip. Assuming you get timely responses, at least you would know before you arrive who's actually available in the area.

I know the owner (not face to face), and trust him. I think he is running an honest business, although I am not sure about his business model.

I agree with your criticism. I told him that he should force the advertisers to complete a form with more information, but he rejected my idea arguing that he did not want any obstacles that could deter a prospective advertiser who may be intimidated by a form.

I am not convinced, but at the same time I think it is a model very appropriated for FESTA/FOSTA times. You should reach out and give him your feedback. If there are many telling him that the information in he ads is too poor, he may listen.

Is there any inside scoop we should know about the Mintboys site? I've read their "About Us" and FAQ. There seem to be some legitimate ads, based on overlap with other sites and based on some reverse searches.

What I find strange is that there seem to be quite a few ads with absolutely no information -- just pics, age, and phone number. These ads have no stats at all and no words in the narrative section of the ad. Is there a reasonable explanation for these sorts of ads on the Mintboys site?
