Posting Rentmen Reviews

Someone help this old granddad. I'm having difficulty posting reviews on Rentmen. It says I cannot post this because I did not meet the escort via Rentmen.

How do I "prove" that we met through Rentmen? Must I contact the admin when I'm ready to meet someone? Anyone have this problem too?

That's odd... I've not had that problem. I've only posted two reviews on there, though. One in 2015 and one last May. Never had that pop up.

Did you check the box when you are asked if the meeting took place? Did you provide a date?

I’ve seen comments off and on...if you don’t setup your appointment via the RM online messaging they may not accept your review. Now....a) I’ve heard this sometimes skews toward negative reviews and b) it has never happened ended to me (paying subscriber) and I know I’ve made some appointments/reviews via texting the advertiser only.

I’ve experienced the same problem. As I understand it in order to post a review you have to had emailed the provider using the RM email service. I tried to post a negative review one time and it was rejected because I hadn’t contacted the provider via RM. I had contacted the provider using his cell phone number I found in his RM ad. Very frustrating.

 

I find it interesting though that I’m always able to post a positive review even though I don’t go through the RM email service.

I've heard about the negative reviews (which cynically would make sense) but mine was full-marks positive! Will have to double-check I've messaged via the site next time

I wish more "clients" out there knew about this forum and the daddysreviews site. Most have never heard of them.

 

Instead, most rely on the RM site and its so-called reviews. While many of those reviews are valid, it's already been proven that their review--vetting process is entirely crooked. Their oh-so-tired rule of requiring that communication be via their system in order for a review to be posted was proved inaccurate yesterday when a positive review I wrote was posted (within minutes!), despite no RM communication with the provider at all.

 

We all just need to be aware of this situation and proceed with caution (no surprise).

I'm just having the same issue. My negative review for a total scammer is rejected because I didn't contact him through a rentmen platform. Which is weird since they let the guys post their numbers, and most of the escorts say they prefer to be contacted through texts.

Anyways, the rentmen reviews are completely useless then. It is not only bad for the clients but for the escorts. It allows the scammers to go unscathed and casts a bad image on the honest guys in the industry. It also endangers clients by exposing them to dangerous scammers. This is really disappointing.

For the first time I tried to leave a positive review, and it was rejected. Reason was no communication between escort and client. Never had that happen before, with a positive 5 star review.

Just had it happen on a regular that I see Monthly - so I generated some communication on RM - then reposted and it went through:) Might have to change the date.

I can't repost because the guy blocked me. So he's protected to scam all he wants. And rentmen will not do anything about it. Great!

Send the webmaster an email addressing this. He's rather accommodating, for I've emailed him on several occasions with my specific concerns, and he has graciously and expeditiously responded.

 

Your concern has never happened to me. I presume the escort had an ad at RM; we met and I followed up with a review. Can't remember particulars....

I'm beyond pissed at this. I feel if that's the case they should wipe clean all the reviews, good or bad, where the contact wasn't through rentmen and then see what happens when bunch of good escorts complain about losing good reviews.

I had the same thing happen to me recently. I didn't know you had to make contact through RM. I guess I should have paid more attention.

I view RM reviews as only one part of the vetting process. If a reviewer has been active for more than two years, I usually afford him some credibility. I’ve only posted 2 reviews, but it’s been a while. Comments from posters on this site are far more valuable.

RM is nothing more than a listing site. To consider their review side fully credible is asking a lot.

 

Too many hoops for clients to jump through. Too many caveats.

ran into it recently with a guy I had already reviewed!!! I see him monthly. So of course we no longer arrange through rentmen!! SO, I dashed him a "need a response - any response so I can post review" - he responded - rentmen saw communication and then took review they had refused!

I always check the RM reviews via VPN, so I can see the actual written ones. I don't put much credence in the other ratings on the site - they're way too general. But I figure, to a great extent, anyone who's gone to the lengths to actually write a few personal sentences might have an opinion worth considering. Especially since in the U.S. you can't see those comments without a VPN - so the fact that they're writing comments at all says something in of itself.

 

I also look to see if the escort has been reviewed on Daddy's, and I look out here to see if anyone had made comments as well.

 

I actually don't hire all that often - maybe once every few months - but I can't say that I've ever had a truly bad experience (a few haven't been terribly exciting lol, but not disasters by any means). If I go ahead and contact someone that I haven't been able to vet in some way. I feel I can usually get a very good sense of them from the way we email/text/talk beforehand. If I feel that things aren't clicking, I don't meet.

I have had the same issue, plus a kicker. I have posted many RM reviews and am a premium customer. My last 5 star review was just rejected because of lack of RM-based communication. When I asked for an explanation they said I also had “don’t track me” on so they couldn’t determine that I had clicked the escort’s contact page. They advised next time I send a RM-email. Does the escort have to respond via email too? Or maybe allow tracking.

What’s absurd is my fave escort told me that a guy he’d never met kept pestering him for new videos to be sent to him, and when the escort said “no” the video-collector successfully posted a 1-star review, even though they had never met!

They kinda use the messaging as a time stamp too. Say you met them in Monday but your first message on the site is Friday. It just has to make sense. Had the issue if it being able to do a crap review before, so now I armrest confirm things in there along with texting if possible

I recently posted some reviews on RM. I know about their screwed up policy, so I sent an obligatory contact message to the providers (after the fact and after the meeting date listed on the review) just so that RM would scan our messages and see we made contact. They published the reviews. And related to the RM messaging feature, another provider just re-sent many messages directly from his email because he realized that RM was not delivering his responses to prospective clients. 10+ years in existence and RM can't get the basics right. It will never improve.

I recently had a bad experience where I showed up to a client’s place who was clearly under the influence of drugs. Physically uncomfortable as the client was irate and aggressive, I chose to leave and simply communicated things “were not working out.” Upon my departure I was threatened, hit with kooky text messages and finally, a 1 Star review on rentmen. Me and the client never even communicated through RM’s portal. I asked for the review to be removed and I was told it “met the guidelines” and the client would have to request for it to be removed himself. (Yeah right). The system is flawed, but there is very little than can be done unfortunately.
