I ended up taking the plunge and seeing him tonight.
Pros: exactly as advertised. Sweet, passionate, great kisser and a helluva bottom. Was also genuinely turned on and made me feel like a stud. Cuddles and chats after.
Cons: asked for a $20 deposit initially, but was ok without it after knowing I only pay in cash. Asked for full payment upfront (was not an issue for me). I asked to cancel two days in advance, after: 
I said that haggling is a huge turn-off for me He repeatedly wanted to change the initially confirmed time  He kept insisting on making the session longer and more expensive  So he materially changed the terms under which I made the deposit. If I made a deposit to get my hair done and the stylist wanted to upsell me, then change the appointment time and so on, that's them breaking the terms under which the appointment is made, and they should return the deposit. 

Nope. But it was a small price to pay to get rid of him. 

Avoid him at all costs. I made a deposit (not $500). Then he started insisting on wanting a longer session, which I did not. I repeatedly told him that I do not like haggling as it's a huge turnoff. But he kept going.
Then, he wanted to change the time. I let him know I was no longer interested and would appreciate my deposit back. He insisted he wanted to keep the appointment. He's incredibly entitled and irritating to interact with. 
Thankfully, I had never given him my address or my real number because he continued to contact me long after I cancelled. Eventually, I had to block him on my phone and Rent.men. I have no idea how many people he rips off with this game he plays, but I wouldn't go anywhere near him. 

I mean this on top of it. I’ve been with guys who literally were contestants on the bachelorette and other reality shows. Well-known Instagram influencers. Guys were actually print models and national  and global ad campaigns. I’ve wasted so much money on super hot guys. On top of just your run of the mill guys who are nonetheless super hot. And I lived in New York for a long time. And never once did I pay a deposit. Not for top porn stars. Not for guys who have also been with well known gay billionaires. Never once a deposit.

This is why I most often hire the combo - the individuals who have massage training, experience, and setup, but also advertise as escort on a separate site. If sensual is double anyway, I'd rather hire at escort rate and be clear about my goals for our session, and how I would like the time to be used.

Yes. Not ALL the gym teachers all at once, but if we were out playing football and the gym teacher was on the field working with us, he jumped in the shower to rinse off before his next class. I met Pete whilst in San Diego and it was great! I had 90 minutes with him one evening and could have easily gone for more. 
Massage was on a bed, but he had a headrest that attached to the bed so it was much more comfortable — that was a first for me and made me actually not mind it being on a bed! The height of the bed wasn’t ideal and made MT slightly more difficult but nothing he could do about that - he moved around and accommodated well.

Forgot to follow up. My second session with Pete was even better. I opted for 90 minutes, and it was spectacular. I cannot recommend him enough.

I can't remember if you DM'd me. Massage session was excellent. Space is professional and clean. Masseur is trained, has a great body, and is very handsome. 

I'm sure this opinion will be unpopular here but you're asking someone to do something illegal so what is "fair" isn't decided by you, the client, but rather the therapist. "What is it worth to risk my license/business/etc" and they set their prices accordingly. 
Also, there are plenty of people who get massages that are strictly therapeutic, just maybe not on this forum. 

The filthiest apartment Ive ever seen. Stacks of dirty dishes everywhere. Dirty laundry on the floor. Dog hair. Etc. Needless to say turned around and left.
