@azdr0710 You'll have a great time I'm sure.

Air travel in SE Asia is easy and cheap and very frequent. I would consider air service in Asia to be heads above our domestic service. The airports and airlines are some of my favorite in the world and put the US ones to shame. Air Asia (a Malaysian company) offers exceptionally cheap fares between most cities, but even the more expensive airlines are relatively cheap when traveling in Asia. When flying into Bangkok double check which Airport you are arriving and departing from (there are 2).

Buses can be hit or miss depending on country. I would go for the nicest option offered (normally called VIP) as you don't really want to end up on the locals bus, but even then it can be quite the adventure, bring something warm to wear on the bus and snacks.

I've not taken a long train journey but have been told they are some of the most beautiful in the world. Still flying is going to be the easiest and most convenient in most cases, and not that much more expensive. Book in advance for the best fares.

Download Grab Car. It's basically Uber in Asia (although they have both Uber and Lyft) but the rates are cheaper for taxis.

Thailand is so easy for tourists, too easy if you ask me. It's definitely worth seeing the major tourists spots, there are really no "bad areas" in the center that I can think of. I have not stayed at any of the hotels mentioned as Airbnbs are very cheap and abundant in Bangkok, normally in nice residential areas. Make sure you are within walking distance of the Metro or BTS Skytrain though. Taxis in Bangkok vary greatly and aren't worth the hassle most of the time. You can take the train to and from BKK and go to the popular places in town on it without dealing with the oppressive Bangkok traffic. Don't bother taking a Tuk Tuk, if they are not a scammer trying to get you to their friends suit/gem/whatever shop they will gouge you on the fee. Visit Pat Pong if you're interested in the infamous Bangkok nightlife, I found it kind of tame actually, a little too commercial. But if you want to sample the wares there are a couple places I can suggest depending on your type. Eat the street food, it is great. Khao San Road was stupid to me, but worth visiting just to see all the drunken revelers. Tours and travel can easily be arranged to other parts of the country like Chiang Mai, Phuket, etc. but check to see what the weather will be like when you are traveling to the beaches. Local travel agent booths are reliable, be more weary of online services but if they have good reviews go for it.

Other Places - All depends on your interest I wouldn't say any country is "not worth it. Cambodia, Laos, Singapore, Malaysia, Borneo, Vietnam, Philippines, all have tons to offer. Myanmar, is also a good place to go if you want to get off the beaten trail and see something a little different.

Is it possible to pick up some reward points/airmiles before your trip? Some of the Airline CC or Chase cards offer really good rewards bonuses that could cover a significant part of the over the water flights. The airline cards also tend to come with travel perks like lounge access, or priority checkin

@Dominiking It's never happened to me so I have no idea what I would do. I imagine most people wouldn't be bold enough to just say they aren't going to pay to your face. They are more likely to use tricks to get out of it (bad checks, stacks filled with ones, empty envelope, etc.), or run off (smoke break, going to the ATM, going to the bathroom, etc.) At that point there is not really much you can do and people like that generally aren't worth dealing with any longer than you have to, I would just leave. Violence or revenge will probably just come back to hurt you too in the end.

Uber is using the classic tactic of misdirection to keep drunken passengers from abusing drivers.

The ride-hailing service is providing the tipsy in the North Carolina city of Charlotte with the children's toy Bop It to keep them occupied so that their sober drivers don't have to put up with any high jinks, nonsense or abuse.

"Folks there have found it's a great way to keep drunk riders entertained so they don't distract their driver," Joe Sullivan, Uber's chief security officer, said in a blog post.

I interned and worked in a bank since I was 18 and moved to a consulting firm in my mid 20s. Both industries would be considered difficult to be "out" in. Although I'm not flamboyant, I do not hide my orientation..I speak about it very casually and openly. Things have changed dramatically (in my opinion) within Corporate America. Folks don't even bat an eye anymore when I casually bring myself out. I consult with global companies where the war for top talent is so tough, folks are having to adjust to diversity of all kinds. I'm by no means saying it is nirvana, but it has gotten a lot easier to be a professional who is gay. Btw, I'm also always on the lookout to help any "professional" gay man. I enjoy flamboyant types, I embrace them and although I might find their fixation on sex or queerness annoying, that's part of being inclusive. I like and enjoy the full lgbtq spectrum and expression. I'm particularly supportive of "femme" types in Corp America. I mentor or sponsor at least one LGBT professional every year, and my goal is not to turn them into being less gay, but more proud and integrated professionals (without mainstreaming) while focusing on the strengths & talent they bring to our business. Very rewarding.

Back to the OP and my 2 cents: I'm a millennial (by a hair) and I hit on older men all the time. Yes, an older handsome man is very attractive to me, but I'm typically drawn to the life experience, my partner was 10 years older. There is just a certain je ne sais quoi about mature men (given he is mentally, emotionally, and physically mature). I've been dismissed by wonderful older men bc their bias against my age. Kinda unfortunate.

Yes it has happened. From the small, dainty hints of poo to the full catastrophic Richter scale 10 events.

We are sticking our dicks in an ass, so we know the risks. If it happens, one tries as hard as one can to be light about it, and relaxed.

You contain the issue as best as possible. You clean yourself up, ask the bottom to clean himself. If it was only a tiny hint sometimes it is possible to continue playing after a little shower. If it is a full contingency, I recommend the bottom evacuates, showers thoroughly and then we continue doing other things.

If there is actual damage in the room I think it is wise to call it a day. There is no way to continue feeling sexy if walls, beds and furniture are smeared. (NO, this is not an exaggeration. People, learn to douche. It's a life saver!)

I would one hundred percent recommend against this. Never re-douche during a session. The ass has little corners where water hides and if you don't let water be absorbed for at least half an hour, the water WILL come out, now in a different color and texture if you stick anything in there.

The grossest accidents have ever happened when someone douches and jumps into playing. I can't warn you passionately enough.

Don't.

I recently used Uber. I initially called a Taxi company to get to the airport, didn't want to park in long term parking. I first called the day before, seeing if I could schedule a specific pickup time, they said no. I called the day of the flight, really early in the morning (I like to arrive early), explained to the dispatcher I had to be at the airport at a very specific time. They said no problem we will dispatch someone to your residence right now. 1 hour.. no taxi.. 2 hours no taxi. now im panicking as the flight deadline is approaching.. granted I still had about 3 hours to go.. no taxi after 3 hours..so I downloaded uber, set it up, and boom had a driver within 30 minutes. Got to the airport, gave the driver a very nice tip and headed on through the horrible check in and security checkpoint.. which took over an hour in itself and barely made my flight.
While I was sitting at the gate, I got a call from the Taxi dispatcher, wanting to know were I was, that the driver was waiting for me outside. I apologized for not calling them to cancel the dispatch,(not really sorry, i was pissed.. but im polite:p) Told them i was at the airport already, No i didn't go with another taxi company, i went with uber. on there is nothing you can do or offer to make it up to me. I was very disatisifed with the taxi company, i would not be ever using them in the future, and would be recommending uber to everyone.

...A month or so ago, I decided to bite the bullet and download the app. I was uncomfortable giving them credit card information, so I decided to give them a loadable credit card, which the system doesn't take. Fast forward today, I still receive at least 2-3 emails per week, encouraging me to download the app with a regular credit card. FWIW...the emails are persistent but friendly, to the point where I am seriously reconsidering pulling the trigger with a regular credit card. They are brilliant with their marketing if nothing else.
