It seems you sent him only one message one time.
Given the frequent changes with rentmen's program, it is possible that the message never got to him.
You might consider sending him a second message.

RENTMEN.EU Pornstar Performer Reviews about ThaBiggest submited by the RentMen clients. According to the one, one star review he has in his ad, he is using the photos of a different person.
How many times have we seen that done?
The one negative review he has contains the following narrative:
"I have the text messages that reflect the same number on his profile. This is not him in his profile and he also didn’t do what we agreed to when we met. He probably didn’t respond via rentmen because he knows he can go under the radar like that."

I am not specifically exposing anyone.
However, on rentmen during this year, one particular provider was "rentmen of the day" twice.
That same escort has been advertising for many years on rentmen.  Two years ago, his ad used to state that he was HIV +.
Now, his ad does not say anything about his HIV + status.
I believe some States in the U.S. require sex workers (and certain others) to disclose their HIV-positive status.  There is a criminal penalty in those states for failure to disclose prior to a sex act with another person.
I do not know if the person is using PREP which would somewhat expiate for his failure to be truthfully disclosed.
I also do not know if the person verbally tells a potential client of his HIV status prior to any meeting.
It was certainly shocking for me to see the "rentmen of the year" (twice for this same provider) omit his previously disclosed HIV status.
The bottom line is do not believe everything that is written (or not written) in a provider's advertisement.

Do not be too comfortable about a hotel "safe".
I will not go into detail how to do it, but it takes less than thirty seconds to open the typical hotel safe.  No tools are necessary to open the "safe" door, no marks or damages are left on the "safe" door.
I always use "good" hotels like Hilton, Marriott, etc.  These hotels all have similar safes.  They all can be opened without force.  It just takes a code that all typical hotels safes have.
On one of my recent trips, a good friend cautioned me about leaving money and valuables in a hotel safe.
    I did not believe him.
He asked my permission to show me what he meant.
Like I said above, it took him less than thirty seconds to open the door on the supposed hotel "safe".
Back to the crook who "borrowed" the car and drove to the Airbnb to steal two computers.  Depending on the state (Texas) where the theft took place and how the relationship began, a look at the laws of prostitution of Texas should be a deciding influence whether to report the theft or just pass it off as an unfortunate event.
If the provider was met through rentmen.eu, I would not report the theft to the police, or, if the thief has text messages back and forth (on his telephone) discussing sex for money etc.
Finally, if the guy was met through rentmen, it would be a good deed to forum members if the crook's link is posted to this thread.

Only one of the photos shown in the masseur ad (of his two ads) is of the guy in question.
As you pointed out, the statistics do not match.  For example:
Height in one ad versus the other ad - 5'9 versus 5'11
Weight in one ad versus the other ad - 175 lbs versus 190 lbs
Age in one ad versus the other ad - age 25 versus age 29
Be cautious if you hire this guy - Many of his narrative reviews were bad and now he has two different ads running showing different statistics.  Worse, he shows only one photo of himself in the masseur ad but has several headless photos of other guys that are not of him.
    Caution, caution, caution!

I have had a similar experience.  The "something has come up" was the excuse that another client had worked his way in ahead of my scheduled appointment with a provider.  I suspect a similar thing happened with you.
When this occurs, the provider is usually unable to perform at the same level as they would have performed if they had not squeezed in another client in just ahead of a previously scheduled client.
Good for you for canceling after getting a two hour delay on your prior commitment with the provider.

For the initial contact with a provider, I prefer rentmen messenger.
Once on rentmen messenger, if I get a feeling of trust or that the guy is not a flake, I switch to text.
People forget that there are a lot of bad providers advertising with fake photos and down right lies.  Many threads in the "deli" section of this forum discuss bad providers (fakes, thieves and worse).
If the initial contact is via rentmen messenger, safety is somewhat preserved.  Once a response is received from the provider from rentmen messenger, I have no hesitation swithing to text and giving my text number.
Remember, we are not dealing with a typical purchase or product.  Hiring a provider is NOT like going to a store and buying a product.  We are dealing with a sensitive situation.  The rentmen chat preserves a little safety until the client feels comfortable in releasing a text number to someone they do not know.
Again, do not forget how many times in this forum is an alert given to warn about a bad or fake provider.
A little caution is not inappropriate.  If a provider finds rentmen messenger not to their liking, it is time to skip that provider and go to the next provider that is appealing and will go along with the reasonable rentmen messenger function.

My exception to this rule is that a provider that is well reviewed here and on RM, but says text me on their profile. Haven't had a bad experience that way, but I have had to do the "let's message each other so I can leave you a review" thing.

It's not always kicking tires, sometimes messaging more than one provider is trying to find the one that's available. I had an unexpected detour on a trip last year that I found myself in a city I hadn't planned on visiting, therefore I hadn't researched anyone I wanted to hire. Texted half a dozen providers since I had limited time in town to see if anyone was available. One responded a couple hours later saying he wasn't available, the rest didn't even bother responding. It's also not always clear who is the casual provider doing it when they are bored and need money versus the ones that take it seriously.

I’ve had many good hours with escorts who have other jobs. Full time escorts aren’t the only ones who provide excellent services. And many good ones don’t check RM messages much, so I always text to begin with. Such a small matter and not worth missing out on a memorable experience.

I always start with RM messaging.   If the provider won't even provide the basics (availability, rate, etc), then I won't switch to texting.   To me a message via RM is an icebreaker.  Get the basics out of the way first and if it appears we are a match, I will continue via text if they want.  To those providers who insist it's just too much work to look at their RM app...give me a break.  At $300/hour, I think people in most professions would be more than happy to look at their messages a few times per day.  I have to respond to about a thousand emails and texts every day in my career and don't make anywhere close to $300+/hour.  I'm sure I'm not alone.

    So, here's my tire-kicking:
-- are you interested in meeting me? Not every provider is. I'm 70.
-- kissing?  It's important so I ask even if it is mentioned in the ad.
-- safe or bare? Not often specified in an ad.
-- compensation? I have my limits too.
Only the last one gets answered in every case. I prefer to get past these before going to a telephone number.  If some of you guys don't like that, there are others in the business. I find providers to have fun with, and if I don't, well, I get to keep the money.  Wheeeeeeee!

Simple.  Some of us contact multiple providers before making a decision: to make sure they are interested, to check a few requirements, to see how they respond.  Doing it by text puts a lot of strange numbers in my phone and increases the risk of an inappropriate message ("hey stud, wanna....") popping up at an inappropriate time (it happens).  Of course, once the date is firm I have no problem switching to text.

Understood. But I'm not talking about endless messages. My initial communication might be something along the lines of complimenting their pics, followed by a brief description of the sort of session I'm looking for, the general vicinity where I'm located, and a question as to rates and if he does in or out calls. And I send a face pic.
Based on the response, I generally know whether I want to send him my number. If his rate is too high or if he only does in calls and he's too far away, I generally won't. If he's arrogant or flakey, the same. I'm just trying to find out if he is someone I might want to hire.
