The one adjective I would not have assigned to Rosanne until now is "stupid." How she could have not known that the vile, putrid, lies, racism, and foul-mouthed personal attacks polluting the media by her "lord and savior" are shielded by the protections of his office, which are not available to civilians.

It all seems so convoluted that someone so gifted with the degree of physical beauty that can open just about any door should be burdened with addiction issues and a criminal record, which are sure to inhibit his abilities to deal with the responsibilities of parenthood. Numerous postings here in the deli forum attest that through it all he brought many fulfilling experiences to his clients. While he works his way through this, may there be a shower of blessings upon him and his family.

Your response inspired me to do a little research. What I found surprised me and broadened my concept. The articles are short reads which report that male/male sex has a female following and also why some straight/lesbian females feel distanced while watching lesbian love scenes. You shouldn't judge "how rigid standards of beauty are" universally by a universe as small as these fora. Just as you would prefer a "blue-eyed silver daddy any day," I (and a good many others) would prefer a deep bronze-eyed Asian hunk any day.

Your post brings to mind the struggle consuming one of my closest friends. He is virtually terrified of aging alone. His phobia has caused him to make some serious missteps in his relationships. While I can sympathize with him, I cannot relate. By choice I'm alone most of the time, but I've never felt the sensation of loneliness, however, as it has been related to me, I can assume it is a very unpleasant sensation. What I had previously considered a failure in my character is apparently a blessing.

While I was transitioning from my 60's into my 70's, I came to realize my physician was right all along with his warnings about my obesity. I began to experience a noticeable physical weakness and shortness of breath. It was then that I began to seriously diet and incorporate a mild daily exercise routine. Soon after, I began to feel more physical strength and dieting became more effective. Now, while I'm a far cry from model or marathon material, I feel I'm at the top of my game and am inspired to continue/maintain my dieting/exercise practices.
