Yeah, I kinda noticed that he was there and it seemed that every guy in the club was trying to get under and into his kilt. However, some guys have that proverbial “gift”... Ya know an infectious smile and such that everyone including the pups come a running his way! Lucky dude indeed!

It doesn’t matter when you announce the meetup.

The one at IML last year had weeks of planning and three people showed up. The year before, 5 people.

I did mean to post it earlier in the day, but was busy at The Leatherman and forgot.

LOL! Well I and another forum member were there and we did not even know about this announcement. So it was a grand total off THREE! Still a good time was had by all!! That is probably a record for a NYC gathering over the past couple of years!

How about meeting tonight at the NYBC at Paddles post Folsom East party at about 9 PM. Again short notice, but it’s a full 12 hours notice.

I think the issue was being too generous with the tip first time around as well as not agreeing the price ahead of time second time around.

Him outright asking for $800 the second time was an outright insult to your intelligence and your generosity. Your generosity would be better placed with someone who has less greed and more appreciation.

If you’re looking for an “alpha” escort, the Deli is probably a better place to ask than the Lounge where the other post is.

I’ve spent quite a bit of time in alpha/sub porn and writings, most of the latter fictional fantasy. There are also submissive men who identify as “faggots” in real life (not just fantasy life) and identify some men (usually, but not always, straight-identifying) as naturally/genuinely superior “true alphas,” and who see their place as serving an alpha.

It’s pretty clear that for some it’s not role-play with enthusiastic consent, it’s actual willing, on/going submission. And it’s distinct from master/slave relationships (although there’s overlap in the cultures) in that while master/slave relationships can be affectionate and loving, the alpha/faggot dynamic (at least at its extreme end) is rooted in superiority/inferiority and humiliation of the “faggot.” I’ve seen taxonomies of don/sum relationships where “faggots” are ranked lower on a scale (of masculinity? of worth?) than “slaves.”

This seems to become an actual reality for some guys. For me, it’s sometimes an arousing space for fantasy and role play—a place to visit rather than a place to live.

I imagine that some of the escorts into BDSM can do the alpha thing, but that’s probably not what you’re looking for, if you’re just looking for a natural, genuine alpha whose not necessarily into BDSM. Certainly there are a lot of escorts who can be very dominant. I’m not aware of any specific one who identifies as a “true alpha” as it seems to me to be understood in the alpha/faggot subculture. But there may be some, and you may hear from them.

No I wouldn't. I had an weird experience on Grindr. A guy hits me up who is not my type. Very out of shape, not very attractive. Not to brag, but I'm in decent shape and not the worst looking man on earth.

I tell him that I'm not interested in the nicest way I can. He replies, "you're rejecting, but you're a fucking nigger and I'm giving you the chance to be with a white guy!" Then blocks me.

I honestly found the experience hilarious. If a lack of pigments is the best thing you have to offer, you have nothing to offer.

Just want to make sure I follow this thought process correctly...I can be a little slow in the mornings before caffeine and cardio. An inability to communicate to your liking at times because I focus on existing clients, family and another income stream...is a BAD move?

FYI, before you slam someone unnecessarily in this section(I don’t know what prompted you, as this was a thread of positivity), you might want to fact check. Never have been to Sydney...advertised for three days there years ago before it was determined I cannot gain entry to the country with a long form visa. Not worth the hassle.

Gotta tell you, your argument doesn’t hold water here, saying that I don’t communicate or that I’m a joke. There’s a different forum member from your same country who’s commented on this very thread, that I’ve only met once....yet talk with on the regular. No business involved.

Communication to me is with what my gut tells me...and if my gut tells me spend X time talking with these certain clients even though it’s not about $ or sessions, versus only concentrating on money / work calls...then guess what, I’m gonna go with it. And at the end of the day, I’ll be a ‘joke’ to you for it...but my friend, I’ll be rich. KARMA rich, the only type that matters.

    Peace from the Midwest!

I had an occasion today to contact Tristan Baldwin while he was on the road with a very busy schedule. I do not like to do this because I know how occupied he is with clients as well with other matters on his plate. Yet despite all that, he made time to call me to express his sorrow at an adverse health problem I recently had. Tho all is well, his call did do much to lift my spirits. Tristan Baldwin is a great escort and wonderful human being to have as a friend. He is the best!!!’

There are unscrupulous doctors who abuse our faulty pay for play insurance system. The more doctors do, the more they get paid. There are mills that do MRI and CT scan and ultrasounds on everyone who has an organ which can undergo they exam. When I first opened my practice, back when dinosaurs ruled the earth, I brought in a company to do echocardiograms in my office. By the time I had ordered 5 tests, I had 4 complaints. The company was doing more extensive testing that I ordered and when I presented that to them, they tried to convince me that the only way this would be profitable for them and for me was to do the more expensive testing. They were out of my office the next day and my patients were instructed to pay the copay for only the ordered test, which was usually closer to $100 rather than the $1000 they had been charged.

Many gastroenterologists will do a biopsy on all routine colonoscopic examinations whether there is an indication or not. The biopsy significantly increases the permissible insurance charge.

I reported a cardiologist in my area to the state board, as he did as many as 15 cardiac catheterizations on one of my patients. She was mentally challenged and she kept going back to him despite my instructions not to do so. There were other physicians in the area who had similar but less egregious episodes with patients who utilized his services.

With my patient, I informed her and her family that I would no longer have her in my practice if she continued to use this cardiologist. Eventually, I was forced to act on that after she had two catheterizations within two weeks.

So, I do not find it difficult to believe that this woman is correct in calling out a fraudulent doctor.

On the other hand, I have had personal experiences with patient's family members going to Facebook (many of my patients have severe psychiatric or dementia issues ) to complain about the organization for which I work. While these posts are not total fabrications, they usually are exaggerations or misinterpretations. My particular branch has taken to limiting posting to the site to a certain length and number. Good reviewers usually said nice things quickly whereas negative ones tended to go on and on and were frequently restated in several posts.

Now, we do not respond to any posts with on line messages, not even with a thank you on line, though we do send out a thank you note by snail mail to those who post especially nice comments.

So is this doctor a fraud or is this patient a loon? Well the doctor's response seems disproportionate to the described initial complaint and the release of medical records is totally inappropriate and if that was done, he should lose his license.

On the other hand, the likelihood of a physician risking his practice over one bad review or even multiple bad reviews by the same perso, by releasing records to the internet is so extreme so as to be preposterous.

My guess, the doctor is a fraud, but probably not as big a fraud as this women's complaints would make it seem. A letter to the appropriate government overseeing body and to her own insurance company, as well as a well considered brief negative review would likely have been more effective and less expensive.

The doctor needs to have severe penalties after a practice review by the insurance companies if her claims are verified She likely needs to consider that she may not be the hero of this episode. She sounds to be as much the problem as the solution.

The doctor's response tells me that he is less than honest. If he did, in fact, post the patient's medical and billing records online then he is in violation of a number of statutes, most notably HIPAA.

It would be interesting to get an attorney's take on this. I would think posting a patient's medical record would put the physician in legal jeopardy.
