There is no bigger pain in the ass than jury duty. I've worked verbal magic to get out of selection in the past and have thanked COVID for the one benefit that it seems to have-- eliminated jury call up in the past year in my life. Time will tell...

The funeral for Prince Phillip was beautifully done. Just the right amount of military fanfare and the ceremony was a liturgical masterpiece--music, black vestments et al. I loved how one news commentator stated, "By Prince Phillip's request, there will be no sermon, no eulogy and no prayers read by family members. It will be strictly by the book." It reminded me a bit of John F. Kennedy's Requiem low mass--the same for prince or pauper!
