  1. What a great thing to collect! A while ago, I saw someone using a road map.
  2. You questioned Greg's priorities in a rather condescending manner. If you were truly trying to understand, was it necessary for you to give him gratuitous advice about managing his finances? I always mistrust people who say they just "want to understand." There's almost always an unattractive agenda waiting to be exposed.
  3. It is odd. The tattoo police take another's tattoos very personally, as though it's an affront directed specifically at them.
  4. One of the beautiful things about having tats is that it is a very direct route to being able to not worry about what others think of you.
  5. Old generally isn't pretty. Old with tats has about the same aesthetic appeal as old without tats.
  6. Souvenir plates. Mid-century panther figurines. Mary statues.
  7. I'm glad you explained that. I was thinking,"What could be more unproductive?"
  8. Why play cat-and-mouse? If you want to meet the guy, send him an email telling him you want to meet him.
  9. I like it when escorts say hello on RM.
  10. And that's probably the situation everywhere, but judging from the number of successful daddy escorts, there is a large minority of clients who hire older guys. If I were in the business, I would focus on them and not worry about a client base that probably isn't available to me.
  11. Why would you even try? You're a daddy escort - a niche unto its own.
  12. Those things always frustrated me. My parents, when buying that sort of stuff for gifts, were guided by the principal of "less is more." So I would have this tinker toy set or erector set and try to build the things shown in the instructions and find out that I needed a bigger set to build what I wanted. I would fiddle with the small set for awhile and lose interest.
  13. I'm inconsistent. Sometimes I help, and other times not.
  14. I didn't find assembly all that difficult. But then, I'm a type that enjoys puzzles. I had them all assembled and ready to go. He knew how to hang them and it all went pretty well.
  15. What decision did you come to as a result of that experience?
  16. There are contractors who specialize in IKEA installations. A friend and I mounted the cabinets I bought for my rental unit. It took maybe half a day. Then we went and had a nice lunch.
  17. I really enjoyed the early seasons.
  18. The compuserve days seem positively ancient.
  19. I have a rental unit. I bought the cabinets for the kitchen at IKEA. Otherwise, I would never shop there. Too much rubbing elbows with the masses. I've had good luck buying household items on the in the Internet. Just recently, we bought a wool rug from West Elm.
  20. If a guy licking another's ass isn't intimate, I don't know what is.
  21. At a time in my life when I didn't have car, I walked to the store and took a taxi home with my groceries. The expense of the taxi was more than offset by having plenty of groceries on hand all the time.
  22. We get a weekly Hello Fresh delivery - have for a long time. It's more expensive than buying groceries, but costs way less than eating out.
  23. Discounts for multi-hour sessions are pretty common.
  24. They are supposed to be the best appliances money can buy, but parts and service are reputed to be a problem.
  25. We have a Kitchenaid that has been relatively trouble-free for several years. I have always suspected that there is something about our installation that doesn't work. When we moved in 11 years ago, there was a nearly-new Maytag, that was one problem after another. We replaced it after a year with a Bosch that was also one problem after another and we gave up on it after a couple of years. The repairman who serviced the Bosch recommended a KitchenAid, which we had him install. The KitchenAid hasn't been problem free - we had to have the motherboard replaced once - and it generally functions sub-optimally, but it is the best of the three.
