  1. RM is thick with guys in their 40s. Guys in their 50s are considerably rarer, but still not difficult to find. I don't hire based on age. I look at the pics and read the profile. The thing that disqualifies somebody quicker than anything is if the copy in the profile is even a little bit attitude-y.
  2. When I was a kid, my mother got our meat at an old-style meat market where they made all of their own sausage. The hot dogs she got from there were a type of sausage called "steamers." When she first started buying them, we didn't like them because we were used to grocery-store hot dogs. Eventually we got so we hated grocery store hot dogs. They actually became fashionable in the 80's. It was considered a cool thing to go to Zimmerman's meat market for a steamer.
  3. When watching porn is involved
  4. That might be an improvement
  5. That's not a very good way to hide in plain sight.
  6. Tastes changed.
  7. Are your sure about that? I imagine many full-time escorts pay self-employment tax like most small business owners.
  8. There was a guy in ATL some years ago who gave his age as 67. Haven't seen his profile in quite a while.
  9. But if an escort has few or no secrets, he has pretty much neutralized the ability of someone to use his secrets against him.
  10. Why is he clueless? Maybe you hit it off so well that he trusted you. Are you implying that his trust was misplaced? I've had escorts tell me all about themselves. I've had interactions with other escorts where they tell me nothing about themselves. When an escort reveals a lot about himself to me, I just enjoy the connection. I assume he fully knows what he's doing and is sharing the information because he wants to, and likes and trusts me, not out of cluelessness or stupidity or naivete.
  11. It's just that they need to get out more, broaden their horizons. If you have a demanding profession, one or two pastimes that hold your interest and a few friends, there isn't time to be sleuthing escorts on the internet.
  12. Those are just the ones I know about. I don't habitually talk with an escort about what he did before he started escorting
  13. I would say they represent 10% of my hires.
  14. Maybe you're running with the wrong crowd. Without even trying I can think of one escort who was a practicing attorney, another who was a healthcare professional with an advanced degree and another who was a c-level executive in Silicon Valley.
  15. It's obviously been working for you, but to completely eliminate any misunderstanding about time and charges you could expressly state that drinks are off the clock. I had an email exchange with an escort who, it seemed to me, had misrepresented his rate structure, and he insisted that it was all right there in his profile. I looked at it again, and if you carefully parsed the language it was suggested, but not explicitly stated. I told him that he had drafted the profile sort of like a CYA legal document and if he wanted to avoid misunderstandings he should describe his rate structure in language that could be readily understood.
  16. As long as you've made it clear that 6:30 - 7:00 is off the clock and totally optional, what could be wrong with it?
  17. Congratulations!! Welcome to the legal profession.
  18. Because they're bone headed and lacking manners.
  19. According to James Altucher, Amazon may announce in the near future that it accepts bitcoin.
  20. I read an account, written by a straight guy of his time in prison. He said that unless you were really big or really mean, you had to learn to take it in the ass. Learning how to relax so you could get fucked without it hurting was an essential skill.
  21. Why wouldn't the time spent sipping wine and chatting be paid time? Just about any escort establishes in their profile that you are paying them for their time. When I call on a client, the clock starts running the moment I walk in the door. If I sit in the lobby for 15 minutes because they need to pull a bunch of people together for a meeting, I still get paid.
  22. That sounds really good!!
  23. In the 70s, almost any decent restaurant had roast duck on the menu with a fruit glaze - orange, rasperries, blackberries, etc. I miss it. It was one of my favorite restaurant meals. Sometime, I think it was around the time that nouvelle cuisine became popular, the roasted duck disappeared and was replaced with all kinds of fussy preparations of duck breast. At Christmas, I was in a French restaurant in Santa Rosa and they had roasted duck on the menu. When I asked about it, the server warned me away from it.
  24. I always order rack of venison whenever I see it on a menu. One time, in Vancouver, I had osso bucco made from venison shanks - with risotto. One of my more memorable restaurant meals.
