  1. Those are just the ones I know about. I don't habitually talk with an escort about what he did before he started escorting
  2. I would say they represent 10% of my hires.
  3. Maybe you're running with the wrong crowd. Without even trying I can think of one escort who was a practicing attorney, another who was a healthcare professional with an advanced degree and another who was a c-level executive in Silicon Valley.
  4. It's obviously been working for you, but to completely eliminate any misunderstanding about time and charges you could expressly state that drinks are off the clock. I had an email exchange with an escort who, it seemed to me, had misrepresented his rate structure, and he insisted that it was all right there in his profile. I looked at it again, and if you carefully parsed the language it was suggested, but not explicitly stated. I told him that he had drafted the profile sort of like a CYA legal document and if he wanted to avoid misunderstandings he should describe his rate structure in language that could be readily understood.
  5. As long as you've made it clear that 6:30 - 7:00 is off the clock and totally optional, what could be wrong with it?
  6. Congratulations!! Welcome to the legal profession.
  7. Because they're bone headed and lacking manners.
  8. According to James Altucher, Amazon may announce in the near future that it accepts bitcoin.
  9. I read an account, written by a straight guy of his time in prison. He said that unless you were really big or really mean, you had to learn to take it in the ass. Learning how to relax so you could get fucked without it hurting was an essential skill.
  10. Why wouldn't the time spent sipping wine and chatting be paid time? Just about any escort establishes in their profile that you are paying them for their time. When I call on a client, the clock starts running the moment I walk in the door. If I sit in the lobby for 15 minutes because they need to pull a bunch of people together for a meeting, I still get paid.
  11. That sounds really good!!
  12. In the 70s, almost any decent restaurant had roast duck on the menu with a fruit glaze - orange, rasperries, blackberries, etc. I miss it. It was one of my favorite restaurant meals. Sometime, I think it was around the time that nouvelle cuisine became popular, the roasted duck disappeared and was replaced with all kinds of fussy preparations of duck breast. At Christmas, I was in a French restaurant in Santa Rosa and they had roasted duck on the menu. When I asked about it, the server warned me away from it.
  13. I always order rack of venison whenever I see it on a menu. One time, in Vancouver, I had osso bucco made from venison shanks - with risotto. One of my more memorable restaurant meals.
  14. Once, my partner and I were on a trip to Yosemite and we stopped at a gas station/convenience store outside of the park to gas up. I saw a pair of VanBriggle candlesticks displayed on a shelf close to the cash register with a price of something like $17.95 for the pair. I knew they were a steal at that price and bought them. When we got home, I checked them out and found they had a market value of over $300.00. I still have them.
  15. The one that I found difficult to believe was a piece of armor from the middle ages or early renaissance, a Florentine helmet. The appraisal was very high, hundreds of thousands, I think. The owner had supposedly found it stuffed in the rafters in his attic.
  16. A woman I worked with had this boyfriend who was incredibly hot, but a flaming asshole. She asked me once if I thought he could be gay. I never thought he was and I asked her why she thought he was. She blushed and tried to tell me but was too embarassed. So I asked her point blank, "Are you saying he likes to be anally penetrated?" She nodded. I said I thought that there were occasional straight guys who liked that. Afterward, I thought, "Gosh, what an interesting conversation."
  17. There's a great little swimming hole on the North Shore, called the Queens Bath. We always stay at the same place, the Kiahuna Plantation in Poipu. There isn't a lot to do at night. I really loved snorkeling. You get in the water and you're surrounded by all these beautiful fish bumping you with their little noses, asking to be fed.
  18. Yet most of the posts to the thread have been made in the last few months. I think it is safe to say that it is a topic of perennial interest.
  19. I've always suspected such.
  20. You're right. It sounds fun. Seems like you're a natural for it.
  21. You're funny. I hope we meet sometime.
  22. I think cold dishes and composed salads that are glazed with aspic are just beautiful, but I've never found them very appetizing.
  23. You could do exactly what he directs, ask him.
  24. Of course, I have heard of a daisy chain, but I have never witnessed or participated in one. I saw something close at the 3rd Street Athletic Club in LA. It was a chain of maybe 6 or 8 guys, all coupled. The one at the front was coupled with the guy behind him. The one at the rear was coupled to the one in front of him and the ones in the middle were coupled both front and rear. It seemed to be a spontaneous event, little to no choreography. If you wanted to join you just coupled at either end. I was completely amazed by it and watched for a few minutes, but didn't join in.
  25. Now and again.
