RadioRob got a reaction from themsg in Coming Soon: Reviews for Masseurs
If all goes well, I'm hoping to have the item view done by the end of the week.  Once I get to that point, it means I should hopefully be able to let ya'll play with an EARLY version of the system.
It won't be perfect by any means...  but it should give you a better idea about how the review system will work and let me work on any bugs that come up.  Anything created in this test version will be deleted...  but it will be very helpful to have people contribute some fake items and reviews to help me test later.

I don't know if folks saw my teaser in the Lounge for the new review site, but with the new system we will have the capability to have multiple categories of things to review.  This will include things such as:

Inside of each category will be items (either a person or a place).  It's basically the thing being reviewed.  Each item depending on what category that it is in can have a set of questions/fields associated with it.  This allows us to ask different questions for each type of item being reviewed.
Within each item will be the ability to have reviews.  Again, since different categories can have different types of needs, I can create different questions for the reviews themselves.  Think of the reviews as descriptions of the encounter.  You will have an item (aka the masseur) and then the item will have reviews that describe member's encounters.
Given the progress that is being made with the new review site, I'm ready to start figuring out what information we want to collect.  This is where I need your help!
I need to collect both the types of categories we want and what questions would be in the category.  For example:
    ITEM INFO
    Contact Info
Ad URL Phone Email Website Physical Info
Age Ethnicity Height Weight Body Build Style Massage
Type (Sports, Deep Tissue, Erotic, etc) Experience (years) Location (In-call, Out-call, etc) REVIEW INFO
Location (City, State, Country) Date of Encounter Session Type (In, Out, etc) Session Length Rate (Price ranges...  100-199, 200-299, 300-399, etc) Would You Hire Again (Rate of 5 stars) Did They Match Description (Rate of 5 stars) Lived Up To Expectations (Rate of 5 stars) Review Details (A text box similar to replying to a post to free-form describe your experience.) I need to do this for both individual masseurs and for spas.  I would anticipate there would be different things you would want to know about a spa versus someone who is freelance. Let me know the types of info you think are critical to ask about both the item (person) and about the encounter itself.

RadioRob got a reaction from MuscleGent in Coming Soon: Master Threads
One of the biggest challenges that I've observed over the years is the number of "411" threads on a specific person.  There are times we could have anywhere from 3-12 on a single person!  This could happen for different reasons...  such as someone not knowing how to use the search function or the provider had changed their name.
When we eventually launch the new review site, when a new item is added... a forum topic will automatically be created for that place/person.  It will have a subject of:
    [ Category ] Item Name
So for example, it might look like:
    [ Escort ] John Doe
The first post inside of that topic will contain fields from the review (I can pick which fields get brought over so not all may be posted).  The goal will be that the topic will become the master topic about discussion about that item (person/place).
Over time...  if we see information that changes about the item, people will be able to report it so that it can be updated.  So if an escort changes their name for example, someone would report that record and provide the new name.  A moderator will be able to update the item.  They'll also be able to add the old name to a special field called "Former Names".  This will let us to better track those who change their names from time to time.
Inside the review record, it might look something like:

If other things change, that can be updated in the record itself.
All of the detail from that record anytime it is edited would also sync to the master thread and edit the first post in it with the updated info, including the topic title if there was a a name change involved.
Now... I'm going to put this out there now that moderators may from time to time not publish a name change in the "Former Names" field.  If we have reason to believe there is a risk to the person or there is another legitimate reason, we may update the name field only without adding the old name to the former name field.
This will hopefully allow the first post to contain all of the latest known info about each item as it gets changed over time without needing to update 500 places.  If it works out the way I'm hoping, this will become the "source of truth" about the item and people can comment over time with their own observations, etc.  The topic itself would not be used for reviews.  (That's what the review system is for.) But general discussion about the person would happen there.
Eventually if someone does post a new thread about someone where a master topic exists, the moderators may end up merging that post into the master.
This is obviously not in place yet.  I'm just tossing the idea out there now so folks have a chance to comment on it and get used to the idea.

This is done for multiple reasons...  spam is one, but in addition it has been abused by people who have been banned from the site who come back and try to register additional accounts to circumvent their ban.   There is lots of "crap" ya'll don't see that the staff deal with on a regular basis.

    My response:
I forgot to mention it in my email, but on the off chance this lawsuit would proceed, it would also mean that his "clients" StarGZ and VictorXX could also be compelled to testify.  Which would mean they would have their real names associated with hiring escorts as well.  So much for them being discreet gentlemen!
(But again...  that would only happen if I'm actually wrong and those two actually existed.)
See the kind of crazy I get to deal with?

There are a lot of factors...  for example, was she being monitored by a health professional while this was occurring?  Was she taking supplements/vitamins to get the things the body needed?
At one point, I weighed over 500lbs and lost wait through diet and exercise.  At one point, I was only eating around 1000 calories a day (eventually moving to 1500).  For the first few weeks, I was just hateful as I was ALWAYS hungry.  Eventually I reached a point where it was "normal" for me.
I would have something like a banana in the morning, a can of green beans for lunch, and a chicken breast with beans and steamed broccoli for dinner.  If I was hungry, I would eat raw veggies like celery, carrots, or broccoli.  (It was hard to not want to dip them in something like ranch!)  You can ingest a LOT of food that is not a lot of calories if you eat the right things!
As part of that weight loss, I was reasonably active.  I was walking between 3-10 miles per day and was up and about taking care of the yard, etc.

I actually saw him on my last trip to NYC towards the start of Feb.  I was up there for a work meeting.  The hotel I was staying at happened to require a room key to get to the upper floors.  It just so happened that one of my coworkers arrived a few minutes before he did to check in.  That coworker stopped to talk with me for a few minutes.
When he arrived, he saw me...  nodded slightly and moved over to the elevators out of the way/sight until I was finished.
So he was able to "read the room" well and once upstairs, we had a fantastic time.  Very sexy and friendly.  No problem at all with communication and lots of fun.
Would see him again without a second thought.
