@Lucky, You’ll enjoy it from beginning to end. The singing, dancing, acting, staging, etc are awesome. Sit back & you’ll feel like you’re @ a MJ concert. 3 actors play different stages of his career. It’s a tribute to the “King of Pop” and the struggles he faced growing up.

  3. Happy Birthday to the man who saved daddy’s site. Your hard and dedicated work is most appreciated. Cheers! 🥂
  4. Administrator’s Note: Gentlemen, I don’t post these types of messages unless I’m reacting to reports. Please, stop these back and forth personal attacks and stay on topic. All messages that disregard my reminder will be removed. Thank you. Cooper Forum Administrator

  6. @CheckCar, Thanks for sharing this video. That scene was a turning point in the plot. Q. Since mobile devices are put into a locked pouch so the audience can’t record, how were you able to do this? 🤔
  7. @g56whiz, 🎈 Happy Birthday old friend. Hope all is well & have a wonderful day. Cheers! 🍻 🎂
  8. Administrator’s Message. Gentlemen: Let’s stay on topic and avoid personal attacks. 🙏
  9. @Charlie, Now you have me wondering, which strip club was that? 🤔
  10. My stockbroker of many years is leaving the firm. He took good care of me and I had full confidence in his recommendations. A new broker from the same firm has been assigned to tentatively manage my account. She has reviewed my portfolio and asked to set up an appointment to meet. In preparing for this meeting I’m working on a list of questions to ask her. Since I haven’t interviewed a broker in many years could some of you suggest questions I should ask. Thanks 🙏
  11. @Cock Eyed Optimist, Glad to hear you’ll soon be in NYC. What shows are you planning on seeing? As for bars in the area, @foxyand I usually go to Hardware or Social Atlas 🥊, however, there are many more in that area. Just look for the pride flag. We usually go on Wednesdays after seeing a matinee. To strike up a conversation just put your Playbill on the bar and someone will ask about the show you just saw 🎭. Enjoy your time in NYC 🍎.
  12. @skynyc, Welcome back! You’ve been MIA for a few years. Glad to read your take on the Broadway shows. Hope all is well. As for Funny Girl, yes, I have a ticket to see it next month. I’m looking forward to it. I’m not a critic just someone who enjoys the theater and is glad that Broadway has reopened. 🎭
  13. Administrator’s Note: Gentlemen, A reminder has already been posted to keep politics out of this forum. Please follow our Guidelines.
  14. Two new Forums have been added to our list of subjects: “Personal Finance & Investment” moderated by @Kevin SlaterAND “Museums” moderated by our newest moderator @foxy. We’re starting to move related threads from the Lounge into these new Forums. If you see one we missed just send a report.🙏
  15. @foxy, Hard to believe that its been 20 years since this show was on Broadway. Like you, I saw it a couple of times. Sadly, what’s different from 20 years ago is what it takes to enter the theater. Yes, the Covid restrictions are still in place: masks, proof of vaccine, ID’s, but the unusual one was locking your phones in a case to prevent anyone from taking pictures or videos. I enjoyed the play and thought the acting was well done. Jesse Tyler Ferguson, better know for Modern family, was very funny! The performance I saw was sold out. Not sure if it was because of this revival of this award winning show or the nudity. Maybe a lot of people just like baseball. 😉 It’s an easy ticket to get at TKTS.
  16. The 1st thread ever posted in the Deli was 2/10/2000.
  17. Administrator’s Note: Gentlemen, Several reports have been received on this thread. I’m sure the OP would appreciate it if you would stay on the subject of his thread. Like many of you, I’m enjoying the on-topic comments, so, the last action I would want to take is to lock it. 🔒 I’m asking that you stop with the personal attacks, stop with the off topic replies, and keep politics out of this Forum. Thank you! 🙏 Cooper
  18. FYI: In time there will be a name change for the Traveling Members Forum so it doesn’t appear to only include meeting up with providers. Threads seeking travel info on foreign countries, if not already in the correct forum, will be moved to the country you are inquiring about. ✈️ Bon voyage! 🏝
  19. The description for the Traveling Members Forum has been updated to include all aspects of travel. If you’re looking for airline deals, affordable hotels, entertainment, gay cruises, places to visit, credit card concerns, necessary shots/vaccines, or just need updated information, just submit your questions there. This will be one stop shopping. Travel related threads found in the Lounge will be moved to the Traveling Members Forum. I realize that some members posting travel information feel their inquiry will get more attention in the Lounge but keeping all travel topics in one Forum will gain just as much attention.
  20. I remember this sad day as if it were yesterday. I dealt with @Guy Fawkeseveryday so it was unlike him not to be online. After numerous texts & calls that went unanswered, I turned to the membership for help. So many concerned & caring members shared info, finally, Peter Hung contacted me with the info I needed to call the police to do a wellness check. In the beginning there was some hope of recovery but 1 month later @Guy Fawkes passed away. This site meant the world to him and he enjoyed his relationship with the members he met through it.
  21. Administrator’s Note: Gentlemen, Please! Let’s stay on the subject of the thread. Too many back and forth replies of a personal nature.
  22. Company: This is one of the Broadway musicals that was opened before the Covid pandemic and has recently reopened. Today, I finally got to see it. I loved it. Plus, its an easy ticket to get at TKTS. Both Katrina Lenk and Patti LuPone sang some very powerful Sondheim songs. Some I had forgotten were in that musical, such as “Barcelona”… The closers, “The Ladies Who Lunch” and “Being Alive” were show stopper. Both Patti and Katrina belted them out to a very appreciative audience. As @foxyalready mentioned, the scene with the 2 gay men about to be married was so funny! A very likable and talented cast. I liked that the orchestra was located above the stage. Hopefully, more new shows will be opening on Broadway 🎭.
  23. Gentlemen, A reminded to stay on topic was posted. Unfortunately, it’s time to lock the thread. In the future, when a warning is posted, observe it.
  24. Administrator’s Note: Gentlemen, A report has been received asking that this thread be locked. Seems it’s gone off topic and has turned into back and forth bickering between a few members. This will be my only reminder to stay on topic and follow the Community Guidelines for posing messages. Thanks! 🙏
  25. Welcome @nate_sf. Thanks for volunteering to help out moderating the site. I’m looking forward to working with you. When I was asked by HooBoy to become a moderator he also started me out in the Strip Club Forum. It’s a good place to learn how to put those tools to work. 👍🏼
