There's a cheesy horror movie from the 90's (I believe) that's been replaying on cable, "Spellbinder". It has a great manhandling scene with a young Tim Daly at the end.

After a very frustrating meeting at work, the line "Please stop answering what you think I meant to ask, and just answer what I DID ask" kept running through my head.

This may've been posted already, but from the article on today's Reviews news articles...wow. Jamie from Sean Cody, one of my all-time favorites, was a high school wrestler. That's spurred a lot of fantasy material.

I don't mean to divert the topic, but in the case of the grammar, maybe the doctor was just using the new convention of using plural pronouns rather than gender-specific ones, since English doesn't have a gender-neutral singular pronoun.

Or "you know what I'm saying?" Howard Stern was interviewing a guy who used that phrase after nearly every sentence, and Howard would reply "I know what you're saying" EVERY time. I don't think the guy even noticed.

Michigan heat is apparently about to let up after a horrible week of 90+ days. The dog park's been pretty empty, and the dogs tend to hang out in the little shade there is there. I had to laugh when my girl went off and found one 6" spot of shade under a small tree.

Most of my travel stories involve checking out new escorts or venues in a new city; not so much cruising for locals. I visited a bath house in Florida on a work trip. We went to the dog park today, completely empty, and she stayed in the shade in the shelter about 90% of the time, except for trotting over to bark at the shirtless runner going by. That's my girl.
