I have one. So far I've found it to be a total pain in the ass. I've never gotten the baked cornbread out of it cleanly, no matter how much I grease it. If anyone else has, please share your secret.

I have to dig out my bread maker (a hand-me-down from my parents, complete with my Dad's notes in the recipe book). I typically use it for mixing/kneading but put the dough into loaf pans for final rising/baking. I don't like those cylindrical loaves. There's some sort of loaf pan, a Pullman pan?, that is covered, and is supposed to result in bread with a softer crust?

Back in high school, in the very-open gym showers, most guys would avoid washing down there; probably to avoid any impression that they were playing with themselves. I do remember one guy who vigorously soaped up his crotch.

My life-long friends are from the high school swim team, and many other friends are guys I met on the gay swim team; so we've all seen each other naked. Last year on a camping trip, one of the life-long friend's wife talked freely (loosened up by many beers) about her husband's endowment. I do remember he was definitely the biggest of the four of us in high school.

But we all know that's not America's ass :-)

I had to google hot-desking. Apparently that was the plan for our company's new building (planned occupancy date late 2020, most probably delayed). Now we're hearing hints that working from home may be the new norm, permanently.

If it follows the model of "American Horror Story", it could be a completely different story about Hollywood, even set in a different era; with maybe some crossover characters in small roles. The post-apocalyptic antichrist season involved a lot of the characters from "Coven" in later episodes, and the doctor (James Cromwell) appeared in several seasons.

I'm with you. I had no problems with this not being historically accurate. I found it similar to Murphy's American Horror Story, in that despite all the awful stuff that happens throughout the series, the last episode always wraps everyone up with a happy ending.

Gas pumps - I'm in the same boat as you, I'm driving so little that I haven't stopped at a gas station since mid-March. But in these days of card readers at the pump, it's been a long time since I've been close to any person when getting gas.

I'm at home like most but still working full-time, from my dining room table. My dog gets let out more often, but she's still mostly laying on the couch while I work. Frequent short breaks to just check in with her & give her a hug. Not having a commute is nice, I'm right there with her the second I am done with work.

We had this book when I was growing up in the 60's. I don't think I actually read it, but I know the story. I didn't know they'd made a movie out of it. This came out in 2012, it looks like?

Agree 100%. I've run into many a person saying "this person can't be REALLY gay because <insert reason here>". I've ignored those comments for a long time now. And there's the converse, "he can't be straight because <insert reason here>" - the most common being "because he loves having his ass played with". Equally ignored by me.
