  1. Paul Lekakis? A hookup or did he advertise? This was one of my favorite pictures long ago
  2. I remember a trip to Toronto in my teens, we went to the grocery store and couldn't find the beer, and they laughed when we asked about it. Beer in Canada is sold through government-run stores then called Brewers Retail (now just called "The Beer Store") and liquor/wine is through LCBO stores (Liquor Control Board of Ontario, I think). At least it was the last time I was there - it's been a couple of years and given the border closing was just extended to August 9, it may be a while yet.
  3. I guy I hired early in my hiring told me about Albolene. He later gave me a hot picture of himself, and he's either holding the jar or it's on the table next to him, can't remember.
  4. I don't have an issue with admitting I was wrong, but can't think of a time when I've apologized for it. I'm thinking mostly about work situations though. On a similar note, I've been annoyed when people ignore/disregard help I've given them, and then totally screw up what they're doing. I helped a co-worker write some code, I wrote a 'skeleton' for her program saying in comments "You need to do this here", "once you've verified this, you need to do this here". First thing she did when she started doing the work was to delete all my comments. (headbang)
  5. Dan Savage (I quote him a lot) talked about getting a prostate exam during a physical in one of his books. The doctor was talking to him as he was about to start, trying to reassure him, and Dan finally said "Doc, I'm a gay man. This is not a big deal, just dive in" (or something to that effect). I may've used a similar line on my doctor. speaking from personal experience, prostate exams have never bothered me, and having had several colonoscopies, I do not remember the actual procedure from any of them. Good anesthesia I guess; even the 'twilight' type, I do not remember falling asleep or waking up, but I don't remember them doing, er, anything back there. :-)
  6. I am rich in life. I'm relatively well-off money-wise but don't consider myself affluent. I live in a great neighborhood in a wonderful city, I have wonderful neighbors who help each other out, I have the best dog in the world by my side, good friends, and my family, while they have their issues, is not the s**t-show that I hear about other people's families. Somebody had to say it :-)
  7. sorry, it's just a link I found when googling "Drew Andrews gay porn". Try this one, from a different site: https://pornstars.biguz.net/pics/492dca50c7dbc52d6ad3d480ad9a8ba4/Drew+Andrews+Gay+Porn.jpg
  8. I was buying Baileys once and the clerk pointed out that the 10-pack of little airplane-size bottles was actually a better deal than the big bottle. I checked her math, she was right.
  9. I prefer Tia Maria to Kahlua (confirmed at a blind taste test a summer or two ago), less sugary and more of a true coffee taste. But it's not a cheaper alternative. I used to make homemade Kahlua, a recipe using instant coffee and vodka; I was surprised to find that both Kahlua & Tia Maria were rum-based. I think Tia Maria may've been the first liquor I ever tasted, a thimbleful at a family gathering in my pre-teens. Not knowing what coffee tasted like, nor knowing any Spanish yet, I thought "Tia" meant it was tea-flavored.
  10. This guy? https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/proxy/LPgCVqoWnKdHAS5G8SFsELX4ZiqFRfof2ys_BfaQbmsnFOwXOpQs6jdZXIn0EkIlnExN_4EQemYc1bliQVX0BmeXnp4J2v2wp8KWO5lyPlu99eGt1CTGAZFRJee3UMk I did too, I think I remember reading he was bi, or maybe straight.
  11. I checked and did not see it on NBC's on-demand through our cable system.
  12. I just checked my DVR recording and apparently our local NBC station preempted it for some local thing.
  13. That's one of the biggest things I keep in mind in writing. I absolutely love this cartoon
  14. Wow. I loved the show and recorded the special but haven't watched yet, I'll let you know.
  15. "Johnny, how about some coffee?" "No thank you!"
  16. @sync did, about four posts up. The ad has a bunch of new more current pictures now.
  17. I'm just intrigued here. Is this a real sports team thing, or a scene from a porn movie?
  18. There's a porn guy with a tattoo of a sign, "This way to the petting zoo", on his left hip.
  19. I was going to buy one too. My first job, early 80's, we got a pretty big Christmas bonus the first year. The next Christmas I had big plans to buy a soloflex with that year's bonus, but the company was not doing nearly as well and the bonus was like $50. No soloflex for me. Probably for the best, in retrospect.
  20. The Bowflex guy! Scott something, I think I remember a long ago interview where he was NOT happy about all the attention from gay men.
  21. I started watching this a couple days ago and am really enjoying it. The discussions in episode 2 about the rape-victim-shaming culture that was prevalent in the 70's are unsettling, and that's from someone who remembers that time well.
  22. For those of you who don't read the news articles on the Reviews homepage, the last article was about Here TV owning a long lost french gay erotica movie. This part blew my mind: HERE’S HOW TO ACCESS EQUATION TO AN UNKNOWN: You have to have a Here TV account, so if you’re not a subscriber, you can’t access the film. For subscribers, all you have to do is log in and watch the clip “Too Hot for Here TV“. At the end of that clip, Underground star Charlie Harding reveals the film’s online location and provides a password. Go to that location, enter the password, and enjoy. I can't for the life of my figure out why that's so convoluted.
  23. My Dad started out saying "We're Americans, we'll get through this" back in March / early April. Now he's calling Michigan's governor "that bitch in Lansing".
  24. I love "brilliant", but I think it's the British-lover in me.
