Years ago on a game show, the host was phoning someone (it wasn't "Phone a friend", this is much older than that :-) ) It was a long distance call and he remarked that "Some people have to dial 1 before entering the area code, that's so unusual". I never realized there were places that did NOT have to do that. I think the show was based in California, I'm in Michigan.

This looks so familiar, can anyone identify the guys?

Aw, thanks. For what it's worth, I was the youngest guy there, apart from the guy who was scheduled for a massage before me.

I stopped in a different location of the gym chain I went to (Bally's Total Fitness, that's how long ago it was) because they had a masseur on staff. I was early for the massage so I jumped in the hot tub, naked. It was in the open pool area but this particular location alternated men & women on different days, so just guys out there. A few minutes later one of the employees came by, clapped his hands, and asked "Everyone got their bathing suits on?" I guess one of the members complained. A couple other locations of that chain were pretty "active" :-) Co-ed so they had saunas/steamrooms in the individual locker rooms, I got lots of action there.

I didn't collect them as such, but I occasionally find matches in an odd drawer in the house. I recently found some from a long-closed restaurant. I used to snitch the wooden matches from a local restaurant just because I like wooden matches.

This guy kept showing up in my Facebook feed, I had no complaints. Dean Pohlman, Man Flow Yoga.

my last haircut was March 11, just before lockdown, so my hair's not too bad. I haven't shaved since March 13 and have announced that I'm not going to until we go back to the office, but I'm wavering on that.

Interesting question. There's an ad that shows up in Detroit every once in a while from a guy who offers phone sex. Why it only shows up every once in a while makes me wonder.

One of my missed (in my mind, at least) opportunities was the guy who delivered my fridge. I'd swear he was pressing his crotch into my hand as I helped him reverse the door.

Huh, I didn't realize this guy was still around. He used to advertise in the bar rags but I haven't seen him advertise online ever. Back 20 years ago, I don't remember ever discussing politics with him :-)

A guy I met at the gym steamroom turned out to be in med school, he was my PCP for a few years.

The head of the team who painted my house about 10 years ago was a very furry little otter who often worked shirtless. I'd leave them coffee and doughnuts/etc, and bought a six-pack for the last day. Unfortunately, the team lead was gone by that time, and the owners of the company met with me to settle up. I have a couple friends who have many stories about hooking up with the cable guy, etc, but it's never happened to me.

Oh yeah. He was in "Delivery Boys" (and maybe in the sequel "Pizza Boy: He Delivers"), just gorgeous in the former. Another movie, I can't remember the name, he catches a guy who's broken into his apartment to steal his underwear, fucks the hell out of him, then finds ANOTHER guy hiding under the bed too - guy one flees, repeat the fucking with the second guy. I never did figure out the logistics of those two burglars... :-)

I remember reading something about Manu Intiraymi, who played Icheb, the young Borg, on Voyager. He made an appearance at a Star Trek convention, and (if I remember correctly) he had much the same attitude - the part I remember most was him chain-smoking at the autograph table.

Just finished the last season of Ozark. WOW. I'm growing to find it a bit improbable, in that Marty & Wendy would have been arrested or killed long ago, but I'm still enjoying it. ANOTHER series that I'm going to have to wait a year or more to find out what happens next.

We have a camping trip planned to Canada (the Pinery, in Grand Bend, Ontario, on the shore of Lake Huron). Mid-August dates. I truly hope we'll be able to make the trip.
