Messaging for services outside of escort sites.
+ poolboy48220 replied to OneTimeOnly's topic in Questions About Hiring
No big deal. I have seen a few friends on Grindr, have been recognized by social acquaintances on there, and have seen a few guys that I know socially show up on rentmen. There was a thread years ago about recognizing a person you know socially on the escort sites. I did hire a couple for massage that I knew from seeing them at the bar. -
I had to read that three times to parse it I go back to the first page and hit "refresh" to check for very recent new updates before I click the "Mark Forum Read" button, to minimize that risk.

What Are You Reading During Your Staying-at-Home?????
+ poolboy48220 replied to + Axiom2001's topic in Literature
The first one made me think of "Manhunt: The 12-Day Chase for Lincoln's Killer", we read it for book club. I had no idea that John Wilkes Booth wasn't captured immediately. Very good book. https://www.amazon.com/Manhunt-12-Day-Chase-Lincolns-Killer/dp/0060518502 The second made me laugh, there's a bit at the end of one of the Hitchhiker's Guide books, after Arthur Dent has learned to fly. He learned to understand what birds were saying and found it pretty boring. -
Wow. I just googled this guy, Dani Rubio apparently? I did not find anything more revealing, can anyone else?

A series on Comedy Central, "The Other Two". As soon as I saw the pictures I checked for it on my cable system, apparently it's not showing anytime soon.

I discovered the "Mark threads read" / "Mark forums read" button a while back. Once I finish reading everything I'm interested I hit that, and when I return threads with new posts show up in a different color.

They're from Sean Cody - the guy on the right is Daniel, I'm not sure who the other is.

I love aprons. I have about six. Someplace handy to wipe your hands while cooking, and an additional set of pockets; what's not to love? I have a book called "Speed Cleaning" with very specific instructions about apron use :-)

I started it last night, English with English subtitles. The tramp in me has to ask, any nudity beyond that sex scene in episode 1?

Has anyone watched "Dark" 'on Netflix? Described as a German "Stranger Things"? It's on my list but I haven't started it.

Everything can be fetishized. Like many things, rape fantasy is a lot different than the reality of being raped. It does play into my fantasies, but when describing what I like with an escort, I use the word "manhandled" rather than raped.

I got the impression it was a group of four or five guys, who hire regularly, are looking for a professional to accompany them on an afternoon boat trip.

Correct, they are not allowed to take everything off in Michigan. We frequented bars in Canada often between 18 and 21, Michigan changed its drinking age from 18 to 19 then 21 in quick succession right when I was that age; I remember i could drink legally, then not, then could again, then couldn't...

I lusted after followed him but never met up with him since I never made it to NYC. If I recall, he gradually moved to doing therapeutic-only massage, then stopped entirely. Quite a few years ago.

The market had trouble supporting the one club, Gold Coast. The last few years, the number of people coming to the bar steadily dwindled, as well as the number of new dancers. The last few times I was there there were only a half-dozen customers.

They filmed it in Toronto - there was a funny bit where the gang did actually go to Toronto (the gay bike ride, maybe?) and commented on how familiar it all looked :-)

True. We have camping plans in Grand Bend, Ontario for mid-August, I hope the border restrictions have lifted by then.

Facebook will notify me of friend's birthdays in my feed and suggest I wish them a happy birthday, I assume it's doing the same for my friends on my birthday. I'm not bothered by the Happy Birthday posts but I've always felt them a bit impersonal, especially from people who I think really wouldn't know my birthday without that notification. It kind of feels like "minimal effort". For close friends, I'll wish them a Happy Birthday some other way.

Gold Coast in Detroit closed about a year ago. Happy Tap in Windsor closed shortly after 9/11, reopened briefly with another name but didn't last long. I think Gigi's might have go-go boys but no private dance accommodations. I've heard Menjo's might get dancers at some point, but I don't trust the source.

Roman Todd & Jaxton Wheeler have at least one other video together, the "Bear Weekend" series - four guys who mistakenly end up at a gay resort for spring break. Roman wakes up naked, wondering where he is, and has apparently spent the night with Jaxton, who invites him into the shower. "There's still stuff we haven't done, you said you were up for anything" ... "I said that?". Another one of my favorites.

Alex the expensive lunk - Where is he now?
+ poolboy48220 replied to Smurof's topic in Spas & Masseurs
"Lunk" :-D Isaac Asimov published a collection of his short stories with author notes/commentary afterwards, and he was aghast on re-reading it that the major character in one story was a "galoot". Sorry, I don't remember the name of the story or even the collection. -
The first time I bottomed was also the first time I rimmed. I remember being surprised that it didn't smell bad.

In one of my water safety/lifesaving classes we practiced rescue breathing on each other. The girl I was paired with had very long nails and when she pinched my nose shut she almost drew blood. We tried a few more times before calling it quits.

I did love Joe Cade. He retired about the time I started watching porn.
