    Agree with @nycman. I don't do anything more than make eye contact, and try to read their cues as to whether it's okay to greet them or go further.

    it's working for me. Although I just noticed that when I mark a forum with subforums as "read", it doesn't mark the subforums as read. Was it that way before? Just noticed this in the Entertainment Forum, it left the "music" forum as "unread" until I went explicitly into "Music" and marked it read.

    We had a similar ritual, shopping at Hudson's in Westland Mall in Michigan. We'd eat at the store restaurant, usually open-faced chicken sandwiches with this amazingly bright yellow gravy, then finish up with a Mickey Mouse sundae; a scoop of ice cream with chocolate wafer cookies for mouse ears. it sat on a disc of meringue which was the best part.

    Like everything in an unregulated industry, it means whatever the provider wants it to mean. I look more for what they DON'T list in their 'intos' rather than what they do list.

    A few years ago a new provider showed up. I chatted with him and told him what I was into when he asked, nothing extreme. He totaled up the different things I'd mentioned and quoted me a crazy rate. I passed.

    I'm referring to the view of an individual forum, and I'm using the condensed view, but there's still a lot of white space between each thread listed, more than I remember in the old version. Like I said, not a big deal, I just have a preference for seeing more on a single page.

    Is it possible to 'tighten up' the listing, less vertical space between threads? It seems roomier than the old format, takes more scrolling and I'm lazy 😛
