    at our company's holiday party in the early 80's, a waiter spilled au jus on my suit jacket while I was away from the table. He looked around to see if I was there then just moved on.     I was double-promoted as well, a few months into first grade I moved into 2nd grade (along with one other classmate). Years later we learned that they'd also wanted to promote my younger sister but they didn't want to promote two children from the same family. The little sister still holds a grudge over that.
