Finished it and I liked it. Not quite into "loving it" territory. I noticed the similarities to "Ozark". Dan Levy is planning multiple seasons of the show. https://www.forbes.com/sites/paultassi/2026/04/20/a-new-update-from-dan-levy-on-big-mistakes-season-2-on-netflix/

I started last night and I'm about halfway through. I am somewhat in agreement with the frenetic/chaotic comments. This seems like early Schitt's Creek where the main characters were almost too awful to watch, before they developed further. I'm wondering if his has enough time to make the characters any more sympathetic.

Just got my passport! It had expired six years ago and I procrastinated until last month. Not so much for planning international travel, but worrying about voting this November.

I have just one real oven, but my toaster oven is on the larger side and has a lot of settings. I've become a real fan of the "Keep Warm" setting for just gently warming something up without worrying I'll leave it in too long.

I just found out one of my favorite science fiction authors, John Varley, died in December 2025. I enjoyed so much of his work and I'm sad we'll never get another book about Cirocco Jones.

images.google.com IDs this as Sean Cody, Curtis and Dean. Found this https://www.waybig.com/blog/2015/09/30/seancody-curtis-dean-bareback-flip-fuck/ but could not find the actual video, even on the Sean Cody site - they clear out older videos pretty often.

Is there something in the search criteria on AirBnB to help find these?

Has anyone hired a provider that you had know previously?

A friend from the bars put up a massage ad with his partner. I hired them, it wasn't awkward at all. -
What special touches do you like from your providers?
+ poolboy48220 replied to TxDaddyBear's topic in Questions About Hiring
That sounds awesome. On a somewhat related preference; I usually ask about prostate massage, and it's so much more enjoyable where it's not saved strictly for the end. Just some light play on my ass and hole during the massage goes a long way. So may guys avoid the ass completely, then with 10 minutes left start diving in. -
My Game of Thrones obsession (kicked into high gear by "A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms" has me reading "Fire & Blood". It's a history of the Targaryens from Aegon's Conquest to the Dance of the Dragons (which is what "House of the Dragon" is about). It's a bit dry, written as if it's a history text by a maester; lots of detail, not so much drama.

Traveling to Des Moines....what's there to do?
+ poolboy48220 replied to BigDMike's topic in The Lounge
Reminds me of a work trip to a small town (Springfield Ohio maybe?) shortly after I came out. I checked the phone book for "Gay" listings and the only number listed turned out to be some 'pray away the gay' hotline. I had better luck on later trips to other cities -

I grew up with a house with no basement, just a crawlspace, unusual in my neighborhood. Furnace filters were changed in the crawlspace.

This! When the PE teacher announced we'd need to wear a jock, he also said they'd be doing impromptu jock checks. Which never happened.

Armpit appreciation thread, dedicated to Pitman

Very glad to see, in the latest "Masters of the Universe" trailer, that they did not shave Nicholas Galitzine's armpits. -
We were told we'd need to wear a jock on the first day of high school gym class. I'd never owned one and 12-year-old me was mortified at telling my mother I needed one. There was one family in our district, with many kids, who were never very clean. I heard that the gym teacher insisted that the one in my grade take a shower, and use soap 'everywhere'.

Not part of the credits, but "Next Stop Everywhere" from the 11th doctor's run has always given me goosebumps. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wRMkiztF45w

The Star Trek theme had lyrics. I think they're listed in "The Making of Star Trek", a book that came out midway through the original series' run. It's rumored that Gene Roddenberry wrote them quickly so he'd share royalties with Alexander Courage, who wrote the music. To the best of my knowledge it's never been performed with the lyrics.

Now Cathy adores a minuet, The ballet russe, and crepes suzette, But Patty likes to rock and roll, a hot dog bash, to lose control, What a mad duet!
