We’ve all seen it happen: A benign thread on this site that gets derailed by haughty and venomous users who seemingly delight in belittling and bullying others. Sometimes their comments reflect an inability, or maybe an unwillingness, to accept that others simply disagree with them. Perhaps more disturbing are the times when their spite and snark emerge with no clear provocation, leaving the rest of us to wonder whether participating on this site is worth the hassle. Either way, this mean girl dynamic — the bullying of fellow users into submission and silence — is difficult to avoid on Company of Men, and it undermines this site as a space where all of us can convene and connect.
 
Outside of reporting such behavior to site administrators — an imperfect response that raises its own set of challenges — I see no clear path toward curbing this dynamic on CoM. (If others have suggestions, feel free to share.) I am naming it here for the benefit of others who, like me, are troubled by the mean-spiritedness of some of our fellow site members. You are not crazy; some of our peers on CoM are terribly unkind, and their petty and spiteful communication styles can make it difficult to spend time here.
 
And sure, this is not unique to CoM. Aggressive and malicious comments from others pervade practically every online domain imaginable. But I find the mean girl dynamic on CoM particularly disheartening because of the purpose of this site. As a gay man of a certain age who is often invisible in bars and clubs catering to the gym-bodied under-40 crowd, and who engages in the type of encounters discussed on this site, I don’t have many people that I can talk to about my specific “extracurricular activities.” (I imagine this is the case for some — not all, but some — of you as well.) I was so relieved when I finally discovered this site after years of wasting time and money on unskilled providers just looking to make a quick buck. I was also incredibly grateful for the outlet (and on some days, the lifeline) this site provided during the COVID lockdown. CoM has the potential to nurture a spirit-lifting camaraderie for those of us who struggle to find it elsewhere. I wish some of us weren’t so seemingly hellbent on tearing others down.
 
Note: I have not named any specific users in this post, as the issue at hand extends beyond any single user. I implore anyone who chooses to comment on this thread to follow suit.

most of you know by now that RadioRob evidently spent many hours earlier this week moving the forum to a new server, a surprise he didn't know was coming.....unlike our previous moderator, "Daddy", RadioRob does not ask for donations......if you like the forum and get something or other out of it at times, you may feel like a donation of some amount is appropriate......there is no advertising here and the moderators do not get paid......

I put the massage fee in one pocket and the tip money in another pocket so for a "just okay" experience, the tip money doesn't see the light of day.

Don't forget about his views on child-rearing and financial matters. Oh, and "seat up" vs "seat down" and whether the toilet paper roll feeds from over or under the roll. These are also important factors to consider.

Two clients is more work but not necessarily requiring double the fee. I’ve some massage clients who like to be massaged sequentially (while the partner watches). That’s just like seeing two separate clients with no gap between so I charge my normal rate. I treat it like two separate clients. Having each partner watch is fine by me, it’s actually good fun because I like to perform with an audience. 
If the session is 90m with both partners participating at the same time then I charge my normal 90m rate, although it depends on what they want to do.
It’s kind of unusual though to have that partner/provider session, much more common is me and another provider on one client. Arguably that’s less work but of course the client is paying for two guys. When the client wants me and a female that’s when the price increases significantly because the female providers I know and work with tend to charge more than guys (there’s equality for you!).

I hired Chad Conners dozens (and dozens?) of times, like @Whatsupandstuff it was almost 30 years ago. We clicked, good connection I think he enjoyed his visits with me as much as any provider can. He did a little county jail time which some leapt on as a negative…things happen. I helped him out during that trying time and never regretted that. He had his demons like many of do, but was amazing with me. 
FYI I found him in the “yellow pages” of Frontiers magazine back in the day. Had to make a phone call and have a conversation to set a meet 🤣.

I'm with @DznNYC and @Rod Hagen on this one, I don't charge extra for couples. My fee is for my time, whether it's one, two, or more guys.
In fairness, navigating a couple takes some special attention, as you don't want one to feel left out. But that's also part of the fun, making sure everyone is having a good time.

Well, that’s unfortunate. While I’m not currently a paid subscriber, I was for over 8 years, month-by-month, and never had any trouble with their billing or support.
If you look a few posts up @56harrisond has posted several topics above that relate to seeking arrangements and their latest name seeking.com. It’s a valid point that it takes more time. I had very good luck on there, at least I did after my first year or two when I started to realize how to better filter through the profiles and messages. I’m still in a relationship right now from someone I met there almost 5 years ago, we see each other and travel 4-6 times a year…it’s not a monthly allowance type arrangement.
Many will be quick to say seeking.com leads to expensive monthly arrangements, I’ve found that’s not necessarily true, and have met many quality guys there.
