Yikes I’ve never paid a resort fee like that for a DayUse, maybe I’m just using less popular cities/properties. Of course some local taxes are added on to the rate.

Maybe it’s the properties I book via DayUse, but I don’t think I’ve ever had any added charges, and I know I have NEVER paid a “booking fee” when I cancel. One of the things I like most about DayUse is easy/free cancellations. More than once I’ve been on the way or even in the parking lot of a hotel when my guest/provider cancelled on me….I canceled hotel on DayUse no issues, no charges.

I tend to not give many details in a DM, unless it’s someone I already know on the board and have communicated with before. Random DM’s asking me about posts from years ago I routinely ignore. You never know if a provider is going to give the same exact experience to everyone. I’ve always had the cash in plain sight, definitely for a first time meet and in general even with regulars. Your twist above re: cash deep in the room, I like it!! Just did that last week with a new hire, great idea! That would have stopped the one time I got ripped off for $200, and wasn’t a regular provider was a second time visit Grindr gen meet.

I *think* you can join, search, etc without paying. But, you will not be able to reach out and send messages without a paid account. I just looked at my closed account a day or two ago after seeing this thread. I had 60 messages, which I can’t read unless I pay again. Over half of the messages were from account that were already offline/deleted…people come and go there.

I think my use of the word “connection” here isn’t really a dating long term use of the word. What I’m saying is there is some connection via more messaging, maybe phone calls, coffee date or whatnot before spending fun time together. i.e. vs. NOT a Grindr or other “quick” hookup. Plus, on seeking it’s 99% known that the younger guys are going to get contacted/involved with an older gentleman.
