  1. Pumpernickel isn’t bread baking 101, it’s advanced class 🤣 maybe try something simpler while you get used to the machine.
  2. I tend to agree with both of you…but some middle ground is needed. Yes, we need all the info we need on a provider…but after numerous posts confirming a provider is an “age shaver” or “blocks” or “no shows” etc., very often the members on this forum tend to “pile on” and the thread goes into an unnecessary negative direction. “Pile ons” really aren’t helpful, are they? @Trick I’ve done the same as you…and tried a provider who had some negative comments. Sometimes I’ve been rewarded by a good meet, but often I should have listened to my fellow posters instead of thinking “it will be different for me”. It’s clear that Jestwink (getting back on topic here 🤣) has some foibles and clearly isn’t honest about his age. It’s established, we don’t need to beat that dead horse.

  4. Well that’s unfortunate, I don’t remember any trick/hack to make it work? It is a premium Burner app number, I set it up on WhatsApp over 3 years ago and still working great. Maybe WhatsApp changed up vetting VoIP?
  5. I use WhatsApp with my iPhone “Burner” app number.
  6. Let us know how it goes…
  7. You are correct sir! See below. Google is your friend 😉 No, canceling Amazon Prime won't make your past purchases disappear or affect your order history. Amazon will never delete your purchase history for legal reasons, and your past orders will remain accessible in your account. While you may lose access to Prime-related benefits like free shipping and early access on new orders after canceling, your previous purchases will still be available. [1, 2] Here's a more detailed explanation: Purchase History: Your order history, including details about past purchases, will remain accessible in your Amazon account. [1, 1] Legal Reasons: Amazon is legally obligated to retain purchase information for a certain period, so your purchase history will not be deleted. [1, 1, 2] Prime Benefits: Canceling Prime will only affect new orders. You'll no longer receive free shipping or other Prime benefits on future purchases, but your past orders will not be impacted. [2, 2] Access to Purchases: You will still have access to digital content you purchased (like movies or books) even after canceling Prime. [3, 3, 4, 4] "Save for Later" Lists: Be aware that "Save for Later" lists may change or disappear at any time, so it's a good idea to create shopping lists instead for a more permanent record of items you'd like to purchase, according to a forum discussion on amazonforum.com. 8. Haha, I was going to write the same thing this morning after watching a few episodes last night. Similar to Netflix’s “Elite” casting, But the show is fun to watch. I am a bit impressed that Benito Skinner created, produces, and stars in the show.
  9. Yeah, I guess this SoCal resident didn’t think about how COLD the city water is elsewhere!
  10. So I came home from Thailand, Cambodia, and Vietnam trip last October, and IMMEDIATELY ordered and installed this. It was in virtually every bathroom I went in, even a “trench” style squat bathroom. Yes, it’s cold water. I’ve loved it and used it ever since, brief wash, and dry with a tiny bit of toilet paper which by the way stays remarkably white! It’s cheap, effective, and takes up no room nor needs electricity. 11. Yes, I forgot to mention tempering your steak before cooking. Re: seasonings it’s a very wide open a topic. I season with kosher salt while tempering outside the fridge. But, I only put other spices on the seared side after flipping. I feel pepper/garlic burns and can cause an off flavor. I know I’m kinda unique in that thinking…and truth be told I will sometimes season as @pubic_assistance mentions. But a REALLY good prime steak….the salt during tempering is enough for me.

  13. I cook a lot of steak. Filet mignon, NY’s, top sirloin. I’ve done reverse-sear, sous-vide then sear, etc. My current favorite though is sear in white hot cast iron skillet, optionally baste with some butter and aromatic herbs while searing, then place on ovenproof plate into 350 degree oven until about 105 internal temp. Pull it out, and let it rest 5-10 mins, the internal temp usually “pushes” to about 120. I do not recommend putting it into the oven in the same cast iron pan you seared it in - the cast iron retains so much heat the steak can easily overcook in the oven. Amen, brother!
  14. And regardless of the online rhetoric, they get clients. Maybe not from this forum…but they get clients.
  15. From another thread in “Questions…” sub-forum:
  16. I am completely and totally besmirched by him.
  17. I also think there is a very subjective perception of what an “outrageous donation” amounts to for many on here.
  18. Well, two people died in the incident…so maybe too soon, or ever?
  19. Sigh, some people just can’t have nice things. Locked.
  20. If there is a post that breaks the rules, please feel free to report it. Then all of the moderators are able to review and decide on an action.
  21. Moderator warning: this is quickly turning into an “not civil” tit-for-tat about other poster’s and their posts. Back to topic on age shaving.
