  1. I’ll miss Chef Cardoz
  2. Sorry you’re indifferent about “cocking” it’s much fun ? Buy yourself a decent rice cooker - I like the Zojirushi models. One of my favorite small appliances, my model has a steel cut oatmeal setting which is nice!
  3. The website link in his RM ad worked for me...but there’s not much there other than contact info. If you click on his “18+ Adult Content” link there it’s goes to his OnlyFans site. https://onlyfans.com/clarkxlanz
  4. I could watch Succession 52 weeks a year! Love it...
  5. One more thing for you to worry about ??
  6. Just got back from my local SoCal Sprouts. Store empty of customers, most Food shelves full. Some staples/flours/cereals a little low but not empty. Full supplies of produce, meat, dairy. Limit on certain items like eggs… I got two 18 packs ?? I mostly went in for some fresh basil for tonight’s Lenten Good Friday pesto. I needed very few items, Whole Foods and Instacart have been taking good care of me at home. Also Imperfect Produce.
  7. We were just texting last night reminiscing and hoping for an “all clear” to meet soonest: https://rent.men/Silas_Siegbert
  8. From the CNN link: “ Consumers are unlikely to see any shortages because of production disturbances. ” re: $60 ribeyes...source? Delivered? Dry aged? Prime, choice, select? Fellow restaurant consultants calculate 50 to 60% of customers are not going to restaurants at all. That’s going to result in a food supply glut, not shortages. That said, distributing could be a problem and wholesale plants like meatpackers closing down due to illness is problematic. biggest problem is probably panic buying, and hoarding by consumers at regular grocery stores.
  9. Yes the map graphic not the tables, as far as I see.
  10. Great link! I like that you can choose raw numbers vs. adjusted for population in the graphs.
  11. Slower than usual recently, but not crashing
  12. Very risky to meet now. No meets for me, not worth my health or the health of my family and friends.
  13. I just sent a young man I met on seeking.com a significant amount to relocate out of Hawaii (where he lost two hospitality industry jobs due to pandemic) and return home to his family in California. No quid pro quo discussed or requested....but I know with this guy it will be ok. And, it was the right thing to do anyway.
  14. I’m not looking for a ghastly result ??
  15. Sadly, this “resentment“ on a future date. has been my experience as well ?
  16. Or worse....when some in our own community use calling someone. “bottom” as some sort of insult.
  17. Understood, and I have many friends and family members that would agree with you. I’d say my issues with Amazon orders are about 1 in 500? And with a couple exceptions the return policy is easy. Also, I’ve received at least 6-7 Whole Foods orders delivered to my door since lockdown. Works great ?? The shopper is in touch with me via text during the process, asking for approval for substitutions or not.
  18. I had Amazon accept an order for these. Then, it mysteriously disappeared from my list of orders? Further investigation said “order canceled“ even though I never canceled it ??‍♂️
  19. You’re both foolish at this stage of pandemic.
