  5. A car going about 25 mph will take approximately 55 feet to stop, not counting the driver’s reaction time to hit the brakes.

Maybe ??‍♂️ But I saw a lot of this, specifically stating bank’s dollar assets: https://www.bankingdive.com/news/sba-small-lenders-window-paycheck-protection-program-coronavirus/577105/

My CPA is going with this probability. But who knows? In retrospect I think it’s fair, and struggling businesses “in need” getting PPP loans are liable to have all kinds of expense deductions whether they want them or not! On the other hand, look at this legislative “Hail Mary” from CPA group: https://www.journalofaccountancy.com/news/2020/may/expenses-reimbursed-by-ppp-not-tax-deductible-paycheck-protection-program.html
  8. InstaCart was back being “instant” for me this week. Small order of about a dozen “fill in” vegetables and a few other things, ordered and delivered in two hours. Still no paper towels though.
  9. One thing to remember about Wendy’s is they only use fresh (never frozen) hamburger meat. In-N-Out too. They will feel it sooner than chains that have at least some frozen reserve. Major chains like McDonalds are allocating meat to restaurants to ensure individual operators don’t hoard supply.
  10. yup, they ruined it ? was kinda predictable?
  11. Yes I’d test and I’d pay.
  12. Number of tickets for going over 100mph is up almost 100% in CA!

PPP disbursements seems to be regular and more free flowing right now with various companies I consult with. 5 entities funded over the weekend via CA Bank of America/SBA. SBA shut off big asset banks for a few hours last week, only letting smaller institutions send applications and requests to the SBA.
  14. I did see this...for a while. But yesterday and today things I’ve ordered are back on 2-3 day delivery. I suspect local warehouses and the employees there may make this a local variable issue.
  15. My deepest sympathies for you and your siblings. I have 5 siblings and our parents are both alive at 89 years old. We worry every moment for them. I am starting to sense this mood in the forum also. Your experience has cemented in my mind what I felt for the last few weeks… People’s choices on how serious to take this pandemic, and on how rigorous they will handle self isolation and social distancing is relative to how close to them the COVID-19 virus has affected them.
  16. I’m looking on in horror from SoCal!
  17. I started masturbating way too early in life, encouraged by a friend a year or so Older than me. Never had a wet dream to the best of my recollection.
  18. I’m not fooled by this.
  19. I listen to Old Time Radio shows in bed almost every night, Dragnet a favorite. But, I rarely make it to end of even a 30 minute show.
  20. I’m going to buy a few whole chix from my local butcher today....now as a matter of fact!

Twist to the “free” PPP monies. IRS might not allow regular deductions on payroll/rents funded by PPP funds. This could provide costly. https://www.forbes.com/sites/robertwood/2020/04/30/irs-denies-tax-deductions-for-wages-rent-paid-with-forgivable-ppp-loans/#3b22df591c15 and https://www.foxbusiness.com/personal-finance/coronavirus-loan-recipients-ineligible-tax-deductions And I wouldn’t think you can “reserve” any PPP funds for future taxes, because the PPP funds have to be properly distributed to payroll/rent etc. within 8 weeks of receiving funds, or no forgiveness. Catch 22?
  22. In fairness to Amazon a huge percentage of products you’re seeing online there come from 3rd party vendors...not always direct from Amazon. And thats not always obvious when you click and buy something. Amazon has been pretty good about stamping out price gouging.
  23. This is currently 100% the way I feel. I can’t agree more ??
  24. Is there something holding you back? You’ve received some pretty good advice in this thread on where and how to buy?
