  1. It seems more and more the spread is attributed to airborne spread (vs. touch, surfaces) so masks could be a safety factor for some fun. I mention in a post above I’m considering meeting a regular for a limited, no oral/masks off meeting, just some touching and he would bottom doggie style - probably safe but not 100%. Sanjay Gupta had a bit on CNN the other day saying wearing masks around positive people gives you a 3% risk of infection, without masks was twenty-something%% chance sorry I can’t remember that higher exact number, can’t find the link!
  2. No
  3. I got grilled NY steaks (bone in and prime!) at home and a Father’s Day card that makes it all worthwhile
  4. Along this line of thinking...is it still funny if it’s: An American flag? A rainbow flag? A flag championing our current protests?
  5. I’ve heard the same....”buffet” reservations sold out!
  6. You reminded of the WAY back, dinners at Numbers, often hosted by Scott Adler et al and attended by local clients and a few providers. Loosely linked to the HooBoy site.
  7. Why double posting in another forum? The thread in the Lounge was quite lively.
  8. And @Unicorn is a doctor, right? Interesting he picks/chooses data rather than be 100% objective.
  9. Right?
  10. But, I know him
  11. But, I know him
  12. @Epigonos you and I met for lunch once and I’d love to do it again when restaurants are “normal” FYI to the forum we are both first degree carnivores.

  14. The empathy on this forum sometimes is underwhelming ?
  15. My GI Doc says a full stomach can press up against the diaphragm causing sneezing. Starting happening to me post gastric bypass surgery. While irritating when it happen, it can also be an early warning for me to slow down or stop eating.
  16. I’ve developed a very thick skin to being ghosted, but there’s always a bit of self-doubt “what did I do (or say) wrong...” when it happens. On social apps nowadays ghosting ? is the 2020 version of “no thanks”. Get Back upon that horse that threw you!
  17. I’m only 100 miles away and I keep missing Palm Springs event! Must try again!
  18. I bought one in NOLA similar to this one, friends loved it when they’d arrive and I was cooking:
  19. Understood ?? Whose “homework” are you accused of doing?
  20. Many clients don’t accept the first meeting quote a provider states. That’s the client’s right, and it’s the provider’s right (and the client’s) to say “no thanks we aren’t a match” or suggest different compensation. Discussing and agreeing upon compensation, time, etc is negotiating. Not “bargaining” or “haggling” but fairly normal practice. It’s also been noted many, many times here in the forum that that full/high price does not equate to an excellent visit experience.
  21. BTW I was applauding your 3 star dining experience! Fun!
  22. Yes, met a few for lunch, etc. mutual interests.
  23. It’s also not so much as being outed for me. First reason is just keeping family/business phone separate from hiring phone. Even “out” people don’t always approve of those of us that hire. Secondarily, it’s protection against that occasional whacky/stalking provider. I’m glad it hasn’t happened to you but it has for many others.
  24. Yes that’s unfortunate and indeed some providers have stated here that they are more skeptical of new younger client queries. That said if your request is made respectfully there are many, many providers who would delight in younger clients.
  25. Burner App I pay the $4-5/ month. Voice, text,(no videos ?) sent to the app on my existing phone. No extra hardware to carry. Can be password protected to open. Ignore any comments that a burner number is a “red flag” to providers. It’s not!
