  1. Keep thinking the good thoughts ??
  2. Ugh, ?? Fingers crossed you get through it, self-employed should still be getting benefits. You’re a “pro” ???
  3. A seasoned professor provider should be able to show last year’s net income.
  4. At never
  5. It’s unfortunate that so many escorts (and masseurs?) consider escorting a lark and just some fun vs. a business. Back in the day (and it’s been a long time since I’ve done this) I helped a couple twenty-something escorts establish “legitimate” tax/income reporting, savings, business license on one occasion, SEP- IRA on one occasion. Encouraged 90 days savings. A couple of guys really got into this and prospered, they appreciated the mentoring. A few others took the “I’m young nothing can happen to me, there’s time...” attitude. One thought that keeps popping into my mind here....if more providers took this professional route they would today have access to unemployment, SBA loans, and other government relief instead of begging/relying on clients for advances.
  6. This was one of my favorites, I shared it with many friends and family.
  7. What would you plan be to sustain your finances if your were: trainer at a gym Sole proprietor of a closed greeting card shop Owner of a small restaurant they can’t do drive-through or take out Employee at any retail outlet in a mall that is 100% closed how would these people get advance pay? Still see customers during self isolation?
  8. Hows this working for you?
  9. Doesn’t this thinking ignore the fact that either “consenting adult” could be asymptomatic, now you’ve passed it to one/other and could be actively passing the virus to others outside the two of you? You’re now going outside the ring of “2 consenting adults” and possibly sharing virus with other, unknown 3rd parties.
  10. Honestly - and I know this is quite opposite for many of you - I rarely even hire or feel comfortable doing overnights. Let alone a long term Covid live-in Mintboy! When I got married many many years ago I told my spouse “marriage is fine but having a roommate is going to be a problem...” and this proved true ten years later when I became single again. I’ve lived alone the majority of my adult life, and I’m ok with that.
  11. I found these stats from the New York City official website encouraging.....check the bar graph cases/hospitalizations/deaths https://www1.nyc.gov/site/doh/covid/covid-19-data.page Isn’t this THE HOTSPOT?
  12. I’ll be darned yeast from potatoes. Makes sense, when I brewed my sourdough starter 10-12 years ago I put some organic black grapes into the flour/water mix for the first week or so. Supposedly the natural yeasts on the grapes got my starter “started”.
  13. So mail it with no return address. Nothing ventured nothing gained.
  14. Even if sending electronically be sure and include your forum “handle“. When I sent via cashapp at first didn’t know who it was who donated until I emailed them and confirmed my user name
  15. I already was getting a pretty close to the scalp cut....so I set my adjustable beard trimmer to “5” and took it to hair! First try pretty good, but when I shampooed I could feel uneven spots. Tried/trimmed again the next morning, got an acceptable result??
  16. Options to donate here PayPal info is there, but not a preferred option.
  17. Yes it’s strong and quite smokey at the end of the roast...there are a few that enjoy the smell of roasting coffee beans. I do not. I have a high power hood over my range and would place my Behmor Roaster under that...but it’s not enough. I roast outside now. I know that’s a limitation for some.
  18. Well I know I’m an oddball....but I buy green coffee beans from all over the world and roast them myself about twice a week, then grind roasted beans per cup, and use a pour over filter cup by cup. Might be one of the few food-crazy things I do that actually saves money after amortizing the cost of the roaster. I rarely pay more than $6-7/pound for my green beans.
  19. Jealous you found the wipes! It’s the one hole in my pantry that’s driving me nuts.
  20. I just got back from running some errands and getting a doc notarized. My pharmacy offering curb side pick up! Pulled in to the yellow loading zone in front of the pharmacy, give them a call on the phone with my name and a gentleman came out with my two prescription refills and took my cash I let him keep the change and I was on my way everybody wearing masks and gloves. Small Mexican market chain here in Los Angeles area called Numero Uno. Not as large or widespread as Northgate which is a bigger Mexican speciality market, but there’s a Numero Uno very close to my house. I must say this is my second visit here during the pandemic, and they are pretty well stocked on all the supplies like toilet paper, paper towels, bleach, that are hard to find elsewhere. The prices are no bargain, but I got things I needed plus a couple Mexican spices and specialties for some cooking I’m doing. They had a security guard checking for masks and gloves and funneling everybody into one entrance. Plenty of social distancing enforced at the checkout lines. My local butcher shop was open, all the gents there wearing gloves and masks...was really fun shopping there for the first time in weeks. “Where have you been??” they all shouted in unison when I walked in!
