I agree...better to know than having a strained/uncomfortable visit!

I use the burner app on my iPhone. Much to like, almost nothing to complain about (can’t send/receive videos in messages ?) it’s a great app and no extra burner phone hardware to carry.

Because those of us lucky enough to be participants in these forum are an educated minority in the pool of clients. These “fakes” get business from uninformed, inexperienced, novice, or first time clients. From these forum we not only get some good intel on providers, we gain confidence and experience as clients and perhaps the ability to tell a fake “no thanks” when they arrive. Many, many just go ahead with the appointment when a fake shows up. The fakes count on these inexperienced clients, it basically boils down to another internet scam based on numbers...sucker enough and some will hit.

Be careful with your profile to avoid getting reported. There are some who feel Grindr isn’t an appropriate platform for hiring and will report you. I do report underaged Profiles on Grindr....but otherwise it’s laissez-faire, live and let live.

So I’d try terms like “helpful”, “open minded”, “respect mature”, etc. sometimes less is more? Be discreet and careful and avoid getting reported ?
