I just got back from running some errands and getting a doc notarized.
My pharmacy offering curb side pick up! Pulled in to the yellow loading zone in front of the pharmacy, give them a call on the phone with my name and a gentleman came out with my two prescription refills and took my cash I let him keep the change and I was on my way everybody wearing masks and gloves.
Small Mexican market chain here in Los Angeles area called Numero Uno. Not as large or widespread as Northgate which is a bigger Mexican speciality market, but there’s a Numero Uno very close to my house. I must say this is my second visit here during the pandemic, and they are pretty well stocked on all the supplies like toilet paper, paper towels, bleach, that are hard to find elsewhere. The prices are no bargain, but I got things I needed plus a couple Mexican spices and specialties for some cooking I’m doing. They had a security guard checking for masks and gloves and funneling everybody into one entrance. Plenty of social distancing enforced at the checkout lines.
My local butcher shop was open, all the gents there wearing gloves and masks...was really fun shopping there for the first time in weeks. “Where have you been??” they all shouted in unison when I walked in!
