I’m in a similar situation, 45 year age difference, long distance for now. We see each other 6-8 times a year, sometimes travel, sometimes just weekend. My advice…..just relax and enjoy 👍🏻

I have basket that fits inside the pot I do smaller turkeys, 12-15#, 100% defrosted, dry as possible, no stuffing (that should be obvious) Two people to lower the basket, two to take it out. Same for me. Hooboy’s first attempt at a message board was an unmoderated anarchistic nightmare. Not his fault…and the review section was excellent, first of its kind and very well done.
