Julia Child made it popular on her TV show, and her cookbooks. I’ve never made it, looks a step or two beyond “simple” but certainly I’ll give it a try on a weekend. Cancelled mine recently…basically useless.

I always thought he was kinda cute. But he didn’t seem to be vibing with the cast, especially late in the last season.

I’ve seen this before - albeit not recently - bottoms (for me) quoting a $50-100 upsell for “bareback”. Never understood how some sell that risk so cheaply.

Kind of a late follow up to this post, but I didn’t want to start a new topic either. I’ve always preferred RentMen.eu vs. the newer rent.men For whatever reasons. But, as of yesterday….rentmen.eu now is resolving to and looking like the Rent.men homepage…but not functioning 100%! So, just whining here a bit. But I guess RentMen.eu is finally going away and rent.men will be the default. I know some here prefer the newer look/feel of rent.men, and I assume I’ll get used to it.

I just booked two premium tix for a 1PM Saturday afternoon show in October. I used the official Sphere website. Some 3rd party websites were asking much more for the same premium tix I got from Sphere box office, albeit that via Ticketmaster.

There’s Julia Child lore that the original Caesar in Tijuana never put anchovies in his namesake salad. He did use Worcestershire sauce - which if you look at the ingredients has anchovies in it. Julia’s theory was that subsequent chefs added anchovies as personal improvements. People are often surprised the salad originated in Tijuana, Mexico. Of course a table-side prepared Caesar has egg! Again referring to Julia’s recipe it a “coddled” egg, so very mildly cooked, but basically raw. If you’re just getting bottled dressing you won’t see egg.

They can only recommend a menu price to franchisees. They can’t force a franchisee to honor that. On the other hand they can do what they want at their company owned restaurants.

No I’ve never had an issue. Mind you the “business” account is on my “real” personal phone. I’ve used WhatsApp business while traveling with friends in group chats etc., never a problem. I do get a lot of spam group invitations for investor groups etc.
