however there’s 3 hotels participating in the city I live near
Note this changes up…there’s a particular Hilton I really like using, but it doesn’t always pop up on as available on DayUse. I suspect it has to do with how busy they are, and the fill in quiet times with DayUse and other similar apps. But there is always something/somewhere available.

This looks dreadful.
About 20 years ago I met a porn performer (can’t remember his name), his penis looked much, much worse than that pic posted above. I actually thought that pic was a decent job of filling.
This particular porn performer had a very lumpy, uneven, penis. Yes, thick….but ugly. He regretted the decision to try and enhance it.

As a matter of fact…the one review he has is from me. I met him late last year. He’s very attractive, very twink-ish. He did send me a face pic after we had texted a bit. We had a great time.
But, I’m surprised to see he’s back, he took his ad down right after I saw him. We chatted after our meet, He had some privacy concerns, and I think he was a little unprepared to be in the escort biz. I’m hoping he’s not coming back into this out of desperation.

The morning news here commented that a felon can't vote, but a guest pointed out that in some states felons who are not in prison can vote. Two states, totally at random, where they can are Florida and New York. The guest also noted that a felon on probation is required to seek the permission of the probation board to travel out of state.
Here’s a US state-by-state list of felons rights to vote, or not. Some states allow felons to vote absentee from prison.

I really enjoyed the first part of Dune, but I was very disappointed in Part 2. The first part was very accurate to the book, the minor differences only improved it. Part 2 seemed chaotic to me, and veered off the book in ways that bothered me. And for the record, I'm not reflexively disliking it JUST because it didn't follow the book. What do y'all think?
I LOVED Part 2. Ironically your’re the first person I’ve heard saying they liked Part 1 better.
As an avid fan having read the books 50 years ago, I liked both. But…I work with a lot of younger 18-28ish people - who haven’t read the books - and they didn’t like Part 1 as a standalone movie, but loved Part 2 🤷🏻♂️
I don’t necessarily follow reviews, Rotten Tomatoes, etc….but Part 2 is wildly more popular than 1.

I’ve mentioned before I consult and work in the F&B industry. It’s tough right now, and really tough in California with a new minimum wage JUST for fast food workers.
That said, I deplore the idea of the tip added in like that. California is also working on legislation that would prohibit “service fees” which are becoming popular in many restaurants. Watch your dining check!

OF is pretty strict about not allowing meet ups so I would not recommend trying to arrange through that platform.
It’s worked for me twice, but it’s been a couple years. Not sure if this is still true but OF wouldn’t let me send a message to the guy with the word “meet”, I had to workaround. Both times led to fun visits….both in the “normal” range of pricing. One of them went on to put up a RentMen ad.

It was fleet week in NYC - lots of Navy and Coast Guard vessels on display and the streets were filled with uniformed sailors.
Same here on the West Coast, San Pedro in SoCal has fleet week.

A bit off-topic, but are the day-use places hard to navigate, logistically speaking? Checking in and out? It looks like they are all third-party bookings, and I want to try day-use, but so far, I've not.
It’s exactly like checking into a hotel in a regular manner. DayUse allows you to cancel without any penalty, in fact they don’t even charge your card, (HotelByDay does charge) your present it a the hotel check in. There is zero difference in a regular booking in my experience.

We wanted to get the M Pox vaccine ASAP so we went to the government clinic at a local school. It was a nice community experience, seeing people we know, and a sense that we were protecting each other. Given that COVID had been politically insane by then, it was a nice change.
I went to a city/county health department tent/trailer setup in a community college parking lot. Both doses…was simple.

but then I remind myself that a lot of USA citizens would rather go to a chain restaurant due to its predictability versus taking a chance on an unfamiliar place.
This! And this is how McDonalds got huge in its beginnings…mediocre food, clean restrooms, 100% of the time consistent the same anywhere in the country.

Another take on the closings. Some of the employee stories may be sour grapes, but their take on the all you can eat is interesting.
