Sequential or shotgun approach when contacting providers?
Rayphactor replied to Wings246's topic in Questions About Hiring
Always #1. Don't waste providers' time with blasts. -
Oh man, I still deal with this a lot. I get that I am a client paying for a service and it's just transactional. Yet, in my real-world job, I always want everyone I interact with to have a positive experience - even the high-maintenance PITA ones. As a consumer of both personal and business services, I get so fucking annoyed when I leave an interaction with a meh experience. I make an extra effort to deliver a white-glove, world-class experience because it's brought me so many returns. Here's the thing that I'm trying to get through my thick skull: Fun gets harder when we put too much pressure on it. Not all play needs to be epic. Recognize the mileage in small moments of play. Skip the emotional pregame. One of these days, I am going to master that mindset.

Ugh. Matter of $$ for me. Took me later in life to learn how to manage money responsibly ... and to stop giving my hard-earned money to everyone who asked for a loan but could never find it in themselves to pay it back. It took me way too long to recognize that I had been giving away about 1/3 of my income to family & friends who were "in need" because they never learned how to do adult things. Until this year, I only hired five providers in ten years ... and only when I could afford it and only when I felt I had done enough good in the world to earn the reward for myself. Now that I've found a regular provider I click with & thoroughly enjoy spending time with, I've adjusted my budget so he basically gets the quarterly bonus my job pays me. Once I finish paying off all my debt, I hope to hire him monthly 😇

Sorry, It's Your Problem Now because I'm Dead
Rayphactor replied to + purplekow's topic in The Lounge
Hope all is back to normal, PK I did mine when I turned 50. I had the unfortunate experience of dealing with estate matters for by dad and brother-in-law (on behalf of my sister) after both died unexpectedly. It is a complete pain in the ass if the loved one wasn't prepared, especially when it comes to real estate. I first created a trust. Contrary to popular belief, one does not need wealth to create a trust. Being single, I asked my nephew to be primary and niece to be contingent. I've provided both of them with paper documents, keep a copy of the documents in a fireproof safe at my place, and am hosting them on a Fidelity's FidSafe | Secure Storage For What Matters site so they can access online if needed. And, because I tend to over prepare, gave them written instructions on what to do as a trustee when I pass. Recorded the property deed to the trust, set all insurance policy and retirement account beneficiaries to be the trust; converted my personal banking accounts to the trust. Then executed the Power of Attorney for healthcare (advanced directives), Power of Attorney for Property, and will. I never want one of my family members to have to go through what I needed to. There are two questions that still linger in my mind for when I pass: a) who's gonna find my adult toy(s) if i pass unexpectedly and I didn't get a chance to discard them ... and what will their reaction be? b) will my favorite regular provider miss me or just miss the income he gets from me? -
Am I to assume the provider cums or doesn’t cum?
Rayphactor replied to Erbenle's topic in Questions About Hiring
The provider cumming is part of the experience for me. I communicate this when making arrangements. So far, only one failed to do so. -
Oh man. I had his same question when I started hiring. I seek out the twink/twunk/college-age men; It's part of my escape from reality and opportunity to live in the the 'what if' fantasy land of the thoughts in my head from a college experience. I'm in my 50's and just started hiring 10 years ago. So far, only two providers seemed to have an issue with my age.

No, but I'd be very interested how things go for you.

Wow. I'm sorry you had a negative experience. I use the site as a guide. When researching providers, I look for reviews/feedback ... but use my critical thinking skills to weigh each review to determine if there is creditability. When in doubt, I'll DM the forum member to ask questions. The vast majority of the information and advice I've received on this forum, and Daddy's original site, has been fantastic and truly helpful.

New providers every time — or finding a few regulars?
Rayphactor replied to Tajoki's topic in Questions About Hiring
Limited experience here, only hired 5 providers in 10 years. Just recently found a provider I want to be a regular with due to the connection/chemistry. I only hire when I travel for work, and with virtual meetings, I'm doing a hell of a lot less travelling than I did when I was young. I live in a rural area, so no opportunity to find a local provider that matches my wants. -
Anyone watching The Pitt on Max?
Rayphactor replied to + EVdude's topic in TV and Streaming services
Just started watching recently, already caught up on season two. I really enjoy the character Dana Evans - the charge nurse - portrayed by Katherine LaNasa. -
How much do you spend in a month? A year?
Rayphactor replied to j r's topic in Questions About Hiring
Yikes. I think I need to up my game. In the last 10 years, I've hired five providers and spent around $3,000. When I feel I've earned a reward for my good deeds, and have the funds, I hire. I've had a mixed bag of good and poor providers. -
While I have never hired overnight, I've thought about it. I agree ... I would rather have good communication and expectations so there isn't disappointment.

Hiring in 2026 - is it too much trouble?
Rayphactor replied to Rudynate's topic in Questions About Hiring
I, too, haven't experienced any trouble like the op describes. -
That's exactly why I use this forum! I'm still a bit of a newb at this, so I use feedback from others as a guidepost when looking to hire. I met with CharmingboyNash this week. He's the 5th provider I've hired, and by far, he's the best provider I've ever experienced. Not only was he charming, adorable, and a complete twunk, he actually delivered what he promised. He's simply an awesome guy and I will be a repeat client of his whenever the opportunity arises.
