  1. Correct, I made the bed. And in case my mother stumbles across this message, the bed was made before I had breakfast to be presentable for any friends that wanted to go to my room to play. (That's my story, and I'm sticking to it.)
  2. @Oliver - Thank you for your thoughtful post. Resentment is a good description of my feelings over the pandemic as well. And I don't believe for one second that we are being selfish. I resent that the actions we need to take to minimize the spread of the disease are needed, but I have no problem abiding by them and am obsessed with having the perfect mask to match my attire for the day. I resent that some of my favorite restaurants may not reopen, yet I understand why the owners are not able to sustain them. I resent that theater productions and concerts are not happening, yet I live stream Jim Caruso's Pajama Cast Party on Monday nights. I resent that I haven't visited with friends and enjoyed a group dinner together in a while, but I am catching up on my reading. I resent that my nephew isn't able to be in the classroom to start his high school experience, yet I am having fun helping him with his algebra over Facetime.
  3. I always enjoy butt photos. Photos of the hole are 50/50 for me - - sometimes they are great and I want to dive face first into them and other ads with photos of the hole - meh.
  4. If the cake provider tells the story the day of the event, like in response to, "how was your day?" sharing an accomplishment is not bragging. If the story is still being told two weeks from now, then maybe it is.
  5. Yes - I would go back with the findings of the inspection and negotiate that it is fixed to your inspector's satisfaction prior to closing. They may come back with the a counter offer to reduce the price and have you fix it. Regardless, something of this nature should also affect the appraisal, so assuming you are not doing a cash transaction, may impact your It may be that the sellers will not accept that, but in that case you should be able to get your escrow back.
  6. Great question - I just returned back to Ohio. Here's why I was comfortable heading to Palm Springs this past week. 1) I was comfortable flying. The airports and airlines have been vigorous in enforcing the mandatory mask protocols and I've not heard of any recent cases of transmission on a flight. (not sure I've heard of any, for that point) 2) I knew I could easily maintain social distance at INNdulge by simply returning to my room if things got uncomfortable for me. I reserved a cabana on days I expected to be poolside most of the day and that further assisted with the distancing. 3) Restaurants were still outside dining only when I departed for PSP and here in Ohio, I've been comfortable with outdoor dining when I've attended. Things that reinforced the decision for me when I arrived at INNdulge: 4) INNdulge has changed its arrival process and has closed the lobby. I came through a side gate to a table set up just at the lobby's pool side entrance. The closing at the lobby also made it less likely that non-registered guests came in to meet guests prior to going out to dinner. 5) The staff wore masks the entire time. 6) While the breakfast menu was consistent with my previous visits, it was no longer self-serve (aside from the coffee.) You made your request and the staff member provided it to you while masked and gloved as was the guest. The social hour was also no longer self service, with the proprietor Sandy pouring beverages. 7) Housekeeping changed. The staff no longer enters the rooms while guests have them. Every other day, we were provided a bag of fresh towels and placed used towels in a bag outside our door. We also set trash bags out for pick up. Within minutes of a guest checking out of a room, I saw the staff go in with a disinfectant steamer (not sure exactly it was) and then an hour or so later when in to clean the room. 8) Tables have been spread apart (no longer two tables abutted thus allowing four guests to sit together for breakfast) and somewhat relocated further apart.
  7. I've been doing some 'advance reconnaissance' this week staying at INNdulge. The owners took the opportunity to make a few minor updates and the place looks fresh: new concrete around the pool, more cabanas, rooms and exterior painted. And as always, the staff is friendly. All that is missing is the breakfast conversations with y'all.
  8. At home, my routine follows @thonglovertx, except on the coldest of days when I may slip on a pair of flannel lounge pants rather than the sweatpants. When visiting family, if we're not going straight to bed, I do wear underwear under my gym shorts so nothing slips out at an inappropriate time. And when I go to bed I wear either the gym shorts or the underwear.
  9. I discontinued my local paper about ten years ago when they couldn't get it delivered before I left for work. I was reading it prior to going to the office so I was aware of local happenings and participate in the water cooler conversations. I currently only subscribe to the digital NYT.
  10. My imaginary boyfriend is making martinis for us as we get in what may be the last opportunities to use the the pool for season. Of course we don't want any tan lines.
  11. @Unicorn I assume you have already asked the seller who currently provides the coverage. I think your approach with an independent agent will be good as the independent agent will want a commission and have a process to send the property "out for bid" to many providers and bring back multiple quotes.
  12. If Johnson's has opened, I would have expected better updates on its website rather than continuing the opening soon message. The facebook page use updated on the 16th.
  13. My biggest concern is that Mr. Right Now calls me and I have 30 minutes to prepare for his arrival. I grab the enema, but the device isn't charged and I won't be daisy fresh for him.
  14. I had my quarterly PrEP exam on Monday and got the flu shot and the first of the two shots for the shingles vaccine. I am usually healthy and rarely catch a bug or the flu and over the years I've been inconsistent about getting a flu shot. For me, I can take it or leave it. Basically, I've never felt the need to make a trip to the doctor's office just for the shot, but if I'm already going to be there, why not get it. Before getting the shot, I always ask what side effects with the current year's vaccine are being reported. My physician told me that when she took this year's shot, she felt like she had a slight fever for about 24 hours, but that was it. I had a similar experience Tuesday evening and then it was over.
  15. That is my understanding as well.
  16. The bank I worked at has seen an increase in the number of tellers asking to work the drive up window in those branches without the permanent barriers.
  17. I also was born in '64 and I'm the opposite - Boomer all the way! In most publications I've read, '64 is the last year of this generation.
  18. Mr. Slater is citing tax law. I think you are doing Mr. Slater an injustice in assuming anything about the way he files his taxes. Many escorts DO report this income on a Schedule C , especially those who's primary income source is escorting. While I do believe that there may be some escorts who do not report some or all of the income from escorting, that would not be the professional advice I would provide anyone. Most individuals want to avoid the consequences of having the IRS find that income was not reported. In additional to Mr. Slater, I am aware of several other escorts who do report the income. Admittedly, I have not surveyed every escort that advertises services; however, I'm not aware of any statistical studies showing reporting rates. Mr. Xyz - - Again you make assumptions. Nowhere did I state that escorts should report income under false pretenses. Escorts can legally report the income from escorting as an entertainment business. My career is in the financial industry and I'm well aware of tax reporting requirements. In fact I have advised a handful of escorts on the responsibilities of reporting this income on a Schedule C.
  19. Not necessarily - - I know a bi-guy who is married to a woman. Their agreement is that he can have sex with other men, but she is the only female sex partner he has.
  20. My preference is dealing directly with the escort. However, I know of a couple of well respected escorts who have used assistants to manage appointments for them. For an guy who is absent-minded, it prevents double booking and in some cases the booker sends reminders for the calendar. For a guy who travels internationally, it may assist with getting responses back more timely than could be handled while out of the country. Many other professions have assistants handle bookings. I see no problem with escorts also having assistants - it just isn't right for everyone.
  21. Mr. Slater provided you a direct response to your answer. Just because he is concise in a response does not make it coy.
  22. @ChrisSquirt , trust your instincts and do not book through the site. There are some basics missing from the site. For example, there is nothing talking about a location. Is this an establishment that a client goes to for the massage? If so, where is that information? If the provider comes to your place, what is the service area? Also, as mentioned in other threads on this forum, this is a common scam where charging a $5 booking fee provides your payment card information to the scammers/fraudsters. Your appointment never happens and next thing you know, your card has been used to purchase a llama in Peru.
  23. The face mask is becoming the fashion accessory of 2020. I have amassed nearly 20 face masks of assorted colors. In part, it has taken me a while to find a mask that is comfortable wearing and stays in place.
  24. It was fun to see his immediate acceptance of the offer. I'm wondering how much Tim prepped him off-screen for it before Dan came back online.
  25. Watching the last match of the evening and I must say that Carreno Busta's shorts highlight is tight ass nicely especially when he is in the serving motion.
