I think sending cards to clients that you have fired would give the impression that you want them back as clients. For comparison - When I was still in a customer facing role at the bank, we would only send cards to existing customers and top prospects. Customers who we asked to leave did not receive a card.

Thanks for the reminder - I need to sit down and address them. I bought them weeks ago. As recently as five years ago, I sent close to 100 cards, including co-workers, those that were associated with the non-profit whose board I was the chair, and neighbors. Once my tenure on the board ended, I reduced the list to college friends and family members. Now that nieces as nephews are moving out on their own, my mailing list has grown to about 50. In some years I've done a brief note including my travels and work events, but haven't so in a few years.

Yesterday I went shopping and as I approached the area where paper towels and toilet paper were stocked, I was relieved to see that the shelves were fully stocked. Then as I got closer, I was disappointed to discover that I was going need to buy generic as the Cottonelle that I prefer (nor any other brand) was in stock. As soon as I can find the Cottonelle, I will be restocking the guest bathroom reserve supply with the generic. (Not that a guest has used the guest bathroom since February.)

I grew up in Indianapolis. It is the primary city in Marion County. But there were also three other cities within the county lines: Lawrence, Beech Grove, and Speedway. Basically the city of Indianapolis grew around those cities, but the cities themselves have never been dissolved. Several years ago, many functions that were duplicative between the city and county were consolidated into one uni-government entity, such as the city police and the county sheriff. However, there are still some services, primarily schools and fire departments that are run by the nine townships within Marion County.

I suspect that with the success of individuals working from home, we'll see more flexible travel and as such, gay activities will be even more accessible. Assuming that high speed internet is readily available, guys could more easily work during the summer on Fire Island or Provincetown, the fall in Key West or the spring in Palm Springs.
