  1. Isn't that called rigor mortis?
  2. My understanding is that there is already an injectible treatment for HIV suppression that lasts 6 months. Why would a twice monthly injection be superior?
  3. Reading the account, I gathered this was more than a love triangle, more like a polygon.
  4. I’m not in any position to hire him given the current travel issues but if he was in my neck of the woods I would be interested. He has excellent reviews on RM going back to 2018 and he shows his face in numerous pics on RM in the semi private ones ( need to be a premium client to view). It appears from his most recent review he enjoys being ff bottom, which may account for the 5 hour minimum session. I understand it takes some warming up to engage in such activities.
  5. Obviously your risk threshold is a lot higher than mine. Here I am debating with myself whether I will attend a very small Christmas day dinner at my brother's which would see me as the only guest. So his spouse as the only other attendee. They live in a community like yours with mostly retired neighbors. But they interact with them daily, unlike myself who lives in a small town and have very limited interactions these days except on Zoom to conduct board business of groups I belong to or very small working settings with everyone wearing masks and being fully vaxed. As an aside, I went to the computer repair shop today and there were three elderly customers ahead of me, each with their masks slung under their chins. I waited outside the shop until they left and on leaving, each pulled up their masks over their noses. What gives with these people!
  6. With Omicron, proof of vaccination is no longer sufficient. A rapid test, taken within a few hours of meeting, offers another layer of protection but is not 💯.
  7. That's a familiar trajectory to me too.
  8. Wasn't the last line in that movie "tomorrow is another day"?
  9. My Storm passed away today, at noon, lying in the sun in the backyard, a place he has loved for over 10 years since coming into my home. It was a peaceful death that came naturally. He hadn't been sick a day in his life with me so I knew over a week ago that he sensed the end was approaching. Having pets is great but losing them hurts. But the good memories will live on.
  10. Well, today it hit 60 here in my town in Ontario. For us it's absolutely balmy.
  11. That's when I have been there too in two different years and the weather was great but a bit windy, which you notice when the sand blows in your eyes. Lol
  12. Don't know where to ask this but how does one make a title of a new thread in bold letters? My attempts have failed. The bold function only seems to apply to words in the thread, not to the title (see my most recent attempt with my new Covid thread in Politics).
  13. I've had a hookup with someone who went on to become a Hollywood star, quite a few with men who could have been successful porno stars but had other options in life to successfully pursue, and a few so-called porno stars but the latter all paid encounters since they are at least half my age these days. Looking back at these various experiences, they were all good to great. Would I do them again, absolutely.
  14. In a way it's like being bilingual in a foreign country and you can speak their language.
  15. These kinds of experiences show that we can pass for straight in public. People judge others on their appearance and demeanor, even the tone of their voices. Gays are stereotyped in the public mind and if you don't fit the type, they assume you are straight. It can lead to some amusing situations.
  16. Now I remember, one was called Dreamland and the other Trocadero.
  17. A great stroll down memory lane. I was one of those tourists in the late 70s early 80s to SCal. Of the places you mentioned, I have great memories of the BoomBoom Room in Laguna Beach. The kids dancing there (mostly 15 years younger than me) were as you described, blond and tan lines surfer types who were crazy dancers, often imitating sexual positions on the dance floor. In San Francisco, where I also danced in that period, there were two discos in South of Market, one named "something" Land, I think, a large airy warehouse space with brick walls and white curtains and the other a more industrial look with dark gray walls and red pipes. Can't remember either names but the music was great.
  18. For some reason I can't help but smile when I read how many shit holes you have visited. I have too, and most, if not all, were wonderful experiences. 😈

    Piano Bars

One thing I noticed about being in Tropics at the turn of the century and Rounds some 18 years earlier was that both piano bars had soft pink lighting which was very flattering to one's complexion, particularly for the older guy's. It softened any wrinkles or facial blotches one might have.
  20. A couple of those reviewers are credible clients on RM with multiple reviews, both positive and in a few cases , negative. I would trust their judgments over some expressed here.

I was thinking if the Monster. I also remember it had dancing downstairs.
  22. We were of the same era. I remember staying at Selfridges Hotel in the 1970s and got a taxi one night at the front door. When I asked the driver to take me to Earls Court, he said in his cockney accent "you sure you want to go there? That's for pouffs." And I replied "I know, that's where I want to go" End of conversation.
  23. To be fair he has 4 positive reviews to one negative.
  24. I think he is looking for daddy

Was it Legends or Tropics, I forget. The one on the east side of the road is what I remember. Had a lovely dining room and bar.
