  1. Interestingly, the first guy who fucked me was a fraternity brother but from another chapter. And he was a football player at his university. All I remember is that it hurt, a lot, but I persevered.😜
  2. The fraternity I belonged to in undergraduate school was strictly het. But this was in the 1960s, way before gay liberation. There was a lot of testosterone at those parties but directed at the fairer sex.
  3. Hockey is the most homophobic of sports in North America, if you are looking at the professional level. They have yet to do anything meaningful to address it.
  4. Our hazing rituals lasted over a weekend before formal induction into membership. That happened on Sunday night if we lasted. A couple dropped out each year because of the hazing. Generally a lot of exercises between dumb tasks around the house to get us tired out. Very little sleep. Then on Saturday night we were bundled into cars blindfolded and driven somewhere. One year we had to climb a mountain side on our hands and knees blindfolded. Another, the pledges(what they were called) were dropped off in small groups of 3 or 4 50 miles out of town and had to get back by Sunday with no money (no cell phones in 1965). The induction ceremony was very impressive. Sort of reminded me of a meeting of the KKK with all the brothers wearing gowns with hoods. We had an organ in our chapter room which supplied a Count Dracula type atmosphere. And only candles. The climax was each pledge got branded on his arm with the fraternity symbol in Greek letters. That was a shock. We then learned the fraternity hand shake. Then the blindfolds were taken off. We each got a nice scroll suitable for framing. I still have mine. The fraternity chapter at my university closed in the 1990s.
  5. I joined a fraternity at my undergraduate university and at law school later. Both were international fraternities. That started 56 years ago and lasted till 1973 when I graduated from law. The undergraduate fraternity was quite congenial and a great party house. The law fraternity was a bit more sober except for the annual meeting which was a complete booze event, black tie and all in a fancy hotel. Today if a young lad I probably wouldn't join either. Times have changed.
  6. Ohoh
  7. On a side note, since it has been raised, I like the current white background to the text as I find it just like a word processed page that I type on my computer. And my eyesight is not the greatest. I would not favour a dark background.
  8. Frankly, I'm of two minds about increasing the popularity of this forum to the extent people who might not understand the purpose of the forum dialogue would insert themselves with disruptive and ill-intentioned interventions. Sort of like uninvited party crashers. The whole notion of a men's club of people of like minded pursuits would be defeated if a bunch of obnoxious intruders were to arrive on the scene. In a sense, too much democracy. I'm not suggesting we should isolate ourselves in an elitist group as it's always refreshing to get new voices added to the mix. But a few interlopers could drive away those who have been faithful participants. I understand the moderators do their best to keep things respectful but some posts from people who are not regular or new on the site can be jarring even if not outright rude. I guess it's a delicate balance, trying to attract the right kind of new people and avoiding attracting the disrupters. I have no great advice on how to achieve this. I agree with those who have said that RM affords a means of contacting clients of providers who one may be attracted to and I have used it myself more than once with very useful insights freely offered on a confidential basis.
  9. Thanks for this. I'm m a bit confused by your statement that the street population has shifted east. Ste Timothee is west of where the concentration of activities used to be.
  10. I was a member of the forum back in the early 2000s when Hooboy ran it and at that time his idea was that what forum members engage in by hiring providers is a hobby. By exchanging ideas and experiences we all stand to gain something that will enrich our participating in this hobby. Our conversations here are not intended to be reviews of particular providers but rather the overall experience of our interactions with them. No matter our level of experience, we all have something to learn. I know I have gained some wonderful insights into things I would never otherwise have had.
  11. That's a very fair summary of our recent experience on this forum, at least from my perspective, which admittedly is not all encompassing. Certainly what I feel was going on at the time.
  12. I understand. We as clients all come at this hobby with our own preferences and experience. As a devoted bottom, I would not be in a position to advise you on providers that you might enjoy. Others here on the forum may be better informed of possible choices
  13. What are you looking for, top, bottom, vers. Twink, muscle, tall, dark. blonde? It would help if you could provide more details.
  14. It's been decades since I drank a Coke. I thought it was cool to order a Coke in France 50 years ago but got over it when I learned how much sugar it contained.
  15. I enjoyed going to Pride parades during the 90s and early 2000s. Attended quite a few in Montreal, Toronto, and one in NYC. They were all fun with lots of cute and hot guys on floats. At the last Pride weekend where I was in Montreal, I left town on Sunday morning as I had had 2 amazing nights with one of the hottest escorts on the international circuit. I guess I just became too jaded.
  16. The socialists celebrate labour Day on May first. I often wonder why the capitalist countries chose the first weekend in September. And which came first. I' m too lazy to look it up. If anyone has a quick as answer, let us know
  17. If I were the warden of the jail housing the condemned Unicorn, I would commandeer his last supper and send him to the gallows on an empty-stomach. But I would have a bottle of Meursault to accompany the meal. LOL
  18. Exactly.
  19. It was the part saying" very old men in their 70's and 80s" that got me laughing. Wait till the writer gets there himself, if he does, and then repeat that line. He might want to rephrase it to "older gentlemen in their 70s and 80s".
  20. I would love to see Jason Markus again, after 14 years since our last date. He would be in his 50s I imagine but what a hunk. He received many positive reviews on Hooboy.
  21. I will always accept a drink from an escort, whether new or regular, direct from his hose. No problem there. For my offering a drink, it's always a sealed bottle, water, beer, or wine, the latter if we're having something to eat as well. I only serve wine from fresh bottles, not open ones left in the fridge, which I'll drink myself. I always keep in mind the possibility of being drugged. An escort I saw recently told me of an incident in Montreal where the client drugged a gangbang crew he had hired. He lived in a multi million dollar mansion in Westmount, the richest enclave in the city.
  22. Same happened to me. I just ignored them but I will now delete them as others have.
  23. I agree with Charlie that planning a vacation trip and making the arrangements is half the fun. So not having any prospects for another international trip on the horizon, I am limiting my holidays to small weekend trips to Montreal and Toronto. Haven’t been to Montreal since the pandemic struck since interprovincial travel was restricted until now. So have two fall trips planned. I’ve had a number of escorts visit me in my small town from Toronto over the last year and a half so that’s been ok but I miss staying at hotels, restaurants and things to see and do in the big cities. As for overseas travel or even to the States, the COVID situation is still too variable to make firm plans. So I just dream about which place I may go to first. Given my age, each year that passes results in certain places where I have never been before being reluctantly dropped from any planning at all. I am more likely to revisit places and countries I already know quite well since planning will be easier and there will always be things to see and do which I haven’t yet experienced. I love my daily life but travel has always been a nice spice to break the daily routines. It’s hard to give up.
