  1. Is there much variation in rates of infection in different parts of NJ?
  2. My point was that in a small geographic area such as New Jersey, with its dense population, with the pandemic all around, it wouldn't make much difference where exactly you lived in the state. By contrast, in Ontario where I live, the province is so large that it does make a difference where you live. It could be 1000 miles from Toronto and is still in Ontario. Same with many Canadian provinces like Quebec or British Columbia.
  3. Does it really matter lol After all, New Jersey is the 47th state in terms of geographic size and is only 79 miles wide at its widest and 166 miles in length. It doesn't get much smaller.
  4. I would laugh too except for the memory of a Russian lad I had a fling with about 45 years ago. I still have a picture of him that he gave me. Taken while lying on a bed in shorts and t-shirt. Just a gorgeous hunk.
  5. I admire but somehow deplore your insouciance.
  6. I've definitely pushed the pause button. As I said elsewhere on this forum, I took advantage of the periods in the last two years when case counts were low in my region to see providers. When they spiked, I pulled back. I had two great extended weekends in the fall, one in Montreal and the other Toronto. Restaurants and hotels were getting back on their feet. Now new restrictions are being put in place, as we speak, so time to batten the hatches. Two of the providers I saw on those trips are now wintering in Puerto Vallarta and I hear they are still doing well.
  7. I think it would be marvelous if providers could set themselves up as a charitable organization, and then I would be glad to make a donation to their cause and get a tax receipt in exchange. It would take some ingenuity to avoid their charitable activities from being construed as a service. Maybe more like a religious activity or service, where donations made to the ministry are tax deductible. Perhaps they could set up confessional booths in their premises where they could work their magic to unburden those seeking relief, just to keep things on the up and up.
  8. And leaving out the best parts like the money shots.
  9. I am glad I visited Montreal in September when cases were low and restrictions were being lifted. As a result I had a great 3 days and could enjoy restaurants and seeing some escorts at my downtown hotel. I avoided crowded places such as bars so didn't take in the stripper bars unfortunately. My strategy throughout this pandemic has been to travel domestically only during the downswings and hunker down during the periods of high cases and multiple restrictions on movement. So far it has worked. Right now I'm waiting for my booster so wouldn't travel in any case.
  10. I don't mind the darkness. In fact I like dark nights so winter solstice is fine by me. But I love a sunny day as well with little white clouds scudding by. Frankly, I love everything nature throws at me. But I've never been in a tornado or hurricane. I could probably skip those events.
  11. Baby mama?
  12. Isn't that called rigor mortis?
  13. My understanding is that there is already an injectible treatment for HIV suppression that lasts 6 months. Why would a twice monthly injection be superior?
  14. Reading the account, I gathered this was more than a love triangle, more like a polygon.
  15. I’m not in any position to hire him given the current travel issues but if he was in my neck of the woods I would be interested. He has excellent reviews on RM going back to 2018 and he shows his face in numerous pics on RM in the semi private ones ( need to be a premium client to view). It appears from his most recent review he enjoys being ff bottom, which may account for the 5 hour minimum session. I understand it takes some warming up to engage in such activities.
  16. Obviously your risk threshold is a lot higher than mine. Here I am debating with myself whether I will attend a very small Christmas day dinner at my brother's which would see me as the only guest. So his spouse as the only other attendee. They live in a community like yours with mostly retired neighbors. But they interact with them daily, unlike myself who lives in a small town and have very limited interactions these days except on Zoom to conduct board business of groups I belong to or very small working settings with everyone wearing masks and being fully vaxed. As an aside, I went to the computer repair shop today and there were three elderly customers ahead of me, each with their masks slung under their chins. I waited outside the shop until they left and on leaving, each pulled up their masks over their noses. What gives with these people!
  17. With Omicron, proof of vaccination is no longer sufficient. A rapid test, taken within a few hours of meeting, offers another layer of protection but is not 💯.
  18. That's a familiar trajectory to me too.
  19. Wasn't the last line in that movie "tomorrow is another day"?
  20. My Storm passed away today, at noon, lying in the sun in the backyard, a place he has loved for over 10 years since coming into my home. It was a peaceful death that came naturally. He hadn't been sick a day in his life with me so I knew over a week ago that he sensed the end was approaching. Having pets is great but losing them hurts. But the good memories will live on.
  21. Well, today it hit 60 here in my town in Ontario. For us it's absolutely balmy.
  22. That's when I have been there too in two different years and the weather was great but a bit windy, which you notice when the sand blows in your eyes. Lol
  23. Don't know where to ask this but how does one make a title of a new thread in bold letters? My attempts have failed. The bold function only seems to apply to words in the thread, not to the title (see my most recent attempt with my new Covid thread in Politics).
  24. I've had a hookup with someone who went on to become a Hollywood star, quite a few with men who could have been successful porno stars but had other options in life to successfully pursue, and a few so-called porno stars but the latter all paid encounters since they are at least half my age these days. Looking back at these various experiences, they were all good to great. Would I do them again, absolutely.
  25. In a way it's like being bilingual in a foreign country and you can speak their language.
